"No, this time I had enough of your lies; your stepmother was right; you are only a nuisance and only bring shame to our family!" He angrily responded. "I had warned you. I will disinherit you. You will not receive even a single cent from me, and you must leave this house right now, or else I will ask the guards to drag you out!" Destiny's POV
"Do you think I will believe you after everything happened?" I asked with sarcasm; his face was pained, and defeat was written all over his face.
"I know it will be hard for you to believe in me, Des. I came here not only because I wished to attend Daria and Thomas's wedding but because I badly needed to see you." He responded, and before I could react, the server arrived and started serving our food on Red's left side.
The food was great, and I was starving. We ate in silence, and I couldn't help stealing glances at Red. Every time my eyes wandered to him, I caught him staring at me, which made me conscious.
If it was confirmed that Carmen framed Ricardo, it must have been hard for Red to defend me at that time. Still, he had no right to hurt me in the most agonizing way. I must speak with Daria and tell her what he said, but I am sure she would easily accept Red's explanation without any doubt.
