Primordial's Treasures

Lilium City, Front Gate.

"Father, why do we all have to wait by the front gate like this?" Said a young boy to his father standing next to the Yao clan elders and their children.

"Son, the Yao clan main branch emissaries, are expected to arrive today. Look even the First Elder, and the rest of them are waiting patiently. We must welcome them grandiosely, or they will think we have no respect for them. Make sure to keep your head down and do not stare or look them in the eyes when they arrive." Said the boy's father.

***

Amon's Room.

Amon, under the request of Ding Song, finished narrating to her disciples everything that happened two nights ago while not mentioning anything about his origin or heart. He was pressed for time and needed new tits to nurture him to the True Realm.

"Master..."

"Jing, I know what you want to say, and I know you don't wish to believe a man's words. However, I believe him, is that not enough for you?" Said Ding Song.

"No, it is enough, master." Said Jing while bowing to her master.

"Good, now, all of you take out all the Chipped crystals you have on you and place them on the table." Ordered Ding Song.

The veiled ladies did as they were ordered and placed what they had in their storage rings on the table, creating a mountain of Chipped crystals.

Amon was elated. With what Gui provided him with last night and what's in front of him, he had hope that he may be able actually to pull it off. Cultivators and nobles need to consolidate their realms and slowly absorb Source from crystals over long periods. Amon did not have the luxury to think about doing it slow and proper. He will rupture his Ethereal Veins if he must.

"Ladies consider this as a greeting gift from me. Absorbing gems or crystals lower than your own Source quality is harmful overall, and it will harm your foundation rather than hasten your steps to the top. Every three major ranks, you must use one grade higher than before to cultivate safely and correctly. It is better not to cultivate than use a lower Source grade crystal or gem." Said Amon as he deposited the small crystals mountain in his void.

The old lady frowned then sighed. Who was she to object to the words of a former Phoenix?

"Accept Amon's gift and do as he has told you from now on, I shall follow the same advice myself." Said Ding Song.

"Yes, master." Bowed the seven veiled ladies.

"Was that enough to get you to the True Realm?" Said the old lady.

"I'm not sure, but I hope so." Said Amon.

"It is no matter. I will have more delivered to you next month." Said Ding Song.

'What will I do with it next month? I either make it now, or I'm in trouble.'

"As the Radiant one said, I kick-started an event planned long ago. An unknown number of platforms like the one behind the city is getting repaired and activated across the continent. I believe they are identical in function, and they will all lead to the same hidden dimension in Vicia.

The dimension appears to be human-made, as it will only allow humans through to find their ancestors' inheritance. Who were they and what kind of legacies awaiting is a big question mark to me. Honestly speaking, humans' legacies for the Profound Ether Way was never anything special. Perhaps these might be of some value since at least one Primordial spirit fragment is standing guard over it. Right, I suspect they were nobles too, which might mean there are Ether cores to be won there."

"WHAT!?" Shouted Ding Song.

"They can be stolen, why can't they be inherited too? It is an old practice in ancient clans of all races except Primordials. After all, All Primordials are born high ranking nobles, so the former does not need to leave their cores to their later."

Ding Song nodded in understanding.

Amon continued. "The second restriction is the cultivation realm. No one under the True Realm is allowed in. This is because the platform will inspect all who stand on it for their nobility. It appears they are looking for specific laws vessels to be teleported to select locations within the hidden domain. I suspect the Primordials' trials specifically.

Settle down, please, I will explain. I don't know which laws they are looking for because I have not deciphered the whole platform yet. I can tell you what a Primordial inheritance entails, though.

Unlike other creatures, there are several things a Primordial can offer as a reward. I will mention three. First and most precious is an Ether core, a Primordial monarch using a portion of their Soul and Spirit, can give birth to an infant Ether core matching their own inside the heart of their recipient. It will partially set back the recipient to the True Realm, but for the young, it is more than worth it.

The second possible gift is their blood essences—this is a precious gift to only those who have the right Ether core for it. To explain it, imagine a human noble with a Fire Law Ether core. They are geniuses among geniuses. They uncovered all there is to discover about Fire Law and became the ultimate Fire Law monarch.

This perfect human, with all their mastery over fire, has three profound laws, possibly among others, concerning fire, they will never be able to touch—Nirvana, Purification, and Destruction. That is not all. There are also several unique flames they will never be able to duplicate: Examples are The Phoenix's flames, the Golden Crow's, and the Vermillion Bird's. Only the blood essences of these Primordial Avians would allow access to either laws and fires, except for Nirvana, it requires something else.

In short, think of it as the universe's way of locking specific laws and powers behind Primordials' blood essences and souls.

The third thing a Primordial can offer is their bone marrow. If a creature acquires it, they will be able to awaken a unique physique related to the Primordial bone marrow they received. Their body will go through a qualitative change, becoming the holders of a very prized Celestial Body, potentially matching the strength of their Primordial patron's flesh and bones as they grow with Source in addition to a massive increase in their life span."

Ding Song closed her eyes and mulled over everything Amon has shown her and just informed her of.

"It all sounds like a dream and an event no one in their right mind should miss. No one has been able to break through the Nine Mortal Realms in so many millennia. This might be an excellent opportunity for all humans. I can picture all the old monsters coming out of their holes for it. I digress though, the matter of taking an oath to eradicate a terrifying, legendary clan put a damper on the whole thing. At least I'm assuming any major reward there will only be given under oath." Said Ding Song.

"You are a wise woman, indeed. This is my one, and only warning to your entire sect, disciples, and everyone you care about, swearing to fight the Dragons' is akin to slitting your own throats on the spot.

Things are different from the ancient past. Primordial clans are now few, many have perished. For that reason, I can assure you the Dragons won't be standing alone, not that they would need help, but if somehow this plan of whoever died so long ago start to bear fruit, the unseen sovereign of our realm will come out of her little hut. I promise you when she does; worlds will burn to a cinder."

Ding Song stood up and bowed once more towards Amon. "I thank you for your guidance. I hope in the future; your friends will include the rest of my girls and me in it. Now, I must excuse myself. I must immediately inform my sect of some of what you told us and guide them here. There might be something to be gained without swearing a deadly oath. I also promise you that my girls and I will keep your existence to ourselves and just introduce you as the son of an old friend of mine if the need arises."

"Before you leave, is there any way for you to send more Chipped crystals my way in the next two days. I'm worried that what I have on me now won't be enough." Said Amon.

"Huh? You don't plan to...Is that even possible?" Said Ding Song.

Amon shrugged. "As you said, no one can afford to miss this event. I'm willing to do something foolish for it."

"Very well, when we return in two to three days, I will bring more. I hope you know what you are doing." Said the old lady.

Outside Lilium City, The Ancient Platform.

"Master, was it necessary to bow to him?" Said Jing.

The old lady was busy admiring the platform. She ignored her disciples for a while.

"Jing, dear, come here."

Jing stood in front of her master.

"Let me be clear if he asked me to make you his maid, I would have done so in a heartbeat. Too bad none of us are qualified to be his maids in waiting even though he is no longer whom he used to be." Said Ding Song.

Jing's tongue got tied up while her sisters-disciples' eyes almost bulged out of their sockets.

"You are all forbidden from mentioning anything about him to anyone, and you are to treat him with no less than the respect you show me if you happen to meet him again. Aside from him being a man, he is no human, so you can take solace in knowing you are not bowing down to a human male. Nuan, stay behind at Gui's mansion. Your presence here, while we are away, might prove useful."

Amon's Room.

Sitting on his bed, surrounded by a small mound of Chipped crystals, Amon hoped this is more than enough.

"Ok, my dear heart, this is no time for whatever you wanted to do to my body with Source. Let's just go for the True Realm. Afterward, you can do whatever the hell you want at later stages."

Stretching his right hand, Amon focused on the entire mound, commanding the Source in the crystals to head straight to his heart.

The Heart of Entropy pulsed loudly, and the mound turned to dust. The Source rushed towards Amon like a small typhoon entering his heart directly.

Lilium City, Front Gate.

"I, the First Elder, Yao Zedong, of the Yao clan side branch in Lilium City, welcome the honored emissaries from the Yao clan main branch in Green Hill City." Said Yao Zedong with cupped fists and a bow, the rest of his clan at the gate doing the same.

"Ohohoho, Zedong, you old dog, it is good to see you after so long. Where are my manners? I, the Sixteenth Elder, Yao Yating, of the Yao Clan main branch, accept your warm welcome on behalf of the rest of my escort. I brought my son and daughter with me. They have been cooped up in their rooms cultivating all day and night long . I thought this would be an excellent chance to get them out for a bit. Come, Delan, Hai, greet your uncle Zedong properly." Said Yao Yating with a big smile.

A young man, eighteen-year-old with brown hair, stepped forward with a fifteen-year-old brunette by his side.

"Yao Delan greets uncle Yao Zedong."

"Yao Hai greets uncle Yao Zedong."

Said the two with cupped fists.

Zedong nodded with a smile and pushed his own son forward. "This brat is my only child, Yao Bai, greet your uncle and distant cousins from the main branch."

Two chapters today YAY. I'm hoping to one day be able to do four days 2k words chapters and three days with 4k chapters every week. It will bring my total to 10 chapters per week instead of 7.
