Tristan felt a cool breeze as he opened his eyes a instead of a dusty rundown arena he saw a forest his eyes shot open

Wush, Wush, Wush!!!

The sound of an objects piercing the air rang out

Dirt and mud splashed into the air startling everyone awake, Tristan flipped over only to see an arrow vibrating right next his face his expression turned grave in an instant

Side quest escape the cannibals' pursuit,

Everyone in the group had gotten this notification wush, wush, wush wush, the sound of the air being pierced rang out again in everyone's ears, they all got up and ran, a few people fell due to the abrupt change in environment

Arrows tore through the air at lightning fast speeds the few who fell got hit in either their shoulders or legs,

A few people turned back helping up the few who had fallen they then ran at their top speeds the few who got injured in the leg were grimacing in pain they gritted their teeth not daring to hold back on their running.

The group of people ran in a disorderly fashion, as they ran they heard a weird whistling sound then the sound of the cannibals' making a helelele sound

Adeline shouted, '' we should run and hide in between the trees so that there arrows and blow darts wont hit us'',

As she said that a dart hit a tree she was running past it was dripping with a weird purple liquid seeing this Adeline's face turned pale as she shouted

''The darts are poisonous'',

The group ran in pairs are smaller groups of four to distract the enemy, Tristan was in such a group he didn't dare look back for looking back would only cause him to lose his way quickly.

Trevor who was beside Tristan said '' we should find a cave to hide in so that the fuckers wont be able to find us so easily, ''

Tristan thought of something, he then said ''aren't the natives good at tracking or something like that, '' he spoke this in a loud and clear voice so that everyone could here this their expression changed when they heard his voice.

Adeline then said '' we should find somewhere to hide even if its for a little bit we have to find a place to hide, ''

Tristan looked up and about until he saw a huge mountain it was filled with holes Tristan pointed at the mountain and said '' mountain, ''

Everyone looked in the direction he was pointing at and nodded they ran for 15 minutes straight without even stopping to take a break, they could still hear the screaming and whistling cannibals' in the distance,

They soon reached the foot of the mountain those who were hit by the arrows and the fatties had a hard time keeping up with the rest, luckily those arrows weren't poisonous so they were able to make it,

The smaller groups regrouped with the bigger ones, they ran up the mountain franticly and ran past about 15-17 caves, they finally settled on one that was quite hidden from site.

Inside a spacious cave a group of people numbering 7 in total lay either flat on their backs or on their stomachs, each one of them had arrows shaped hole in their body they were all grimacing in pain

As Adeline and a few other females cleaned and wrapped their wounds the rest of the group either sat in the corner or were walking about

Tristan sat in the corner of the cave, he was grateful that he saw the mountain and that they had completed the side mission, after completing the mission they got a few items that were helpful such as

Bandages, alcohol for wounds, water, rations a key and a map it was when they got the key and map that a new side mission appeared Tristan stared at the mission with a somewhat bitter expression on his face

They didn't pay this mission any attention for they had injured people on their team not only that they didn't no what dangers lye in the surrounding so they didn't dear move around casually

Night had come making the anxious group stiff with tension, someone had to go on watch duty and they saw that the fire was burning out, Tristan quickly volunteered himself to go on watch duty, seeing that someone had volunteered,

The group grew less tense, Trevor seeing that Tristan had volunteered he too wanted to do watch duty, the group agreed to let the two of them go on watch while the group slept,

Tick,. . Tock,. . Tick.

It was the dead of night and there was no moon in the sky causing the world to be completely black, but the sound of beast roaring and the insects chirping could be heard from time to time

Tristan sat in the corner allowing his eyes to adjust to the extreme darkness if one could see his pupils they would look like too terrifying black holes this continued for a while until he got a system notification

In Tristan's vision the world suddenly brighten up and he could see around him clearly, he looked around curiously, but testing out his new eyes little did he know that his pupils were retracting and expanding rapidly looking like a blackhole that was about to combust

Soon enough this extreme movement of his pupils stopped only expanding enough were he could see comfortably in the dark

Trevor who sat in the corner asked '' hey you awake,''

''Tristan answered yeah i'm awake''

Trevor then said '' aren't you scarred ''

Tristan turned to look at him but he wasn't facing this direction he was staring out into the black expanse we call space

Tristan thought for a bit and said '' of course i'm scared i'm scared, i'm scared of this unknown world its unknown dangers and horrors, I don't even know if my friends are still alive so i'm not just scared i'm terrified. ''

Trevor sighed softly he then said '' I feel the same, i'm terrified, I don't even know if I would be able think properly if I were alone but its good that we have each other lets survive together, ''

He turned around with tears running down his face a bitter smile hang loosely on his face, Tristan was taken a back by this but he soon recovered, he then said

''You should go and sleep i'll watch over everything for a few more hours''.

After a few hours Tristan saw that everyone was sound asleep, he then curled up in a corner and went to sleep as well. But little did the two know that someone had over heard there conversation.
