Chapter 87

"Adam, why did you compel me?" she asked with a straight face.

I assume the matter is now serious. Who could the girl be? She must have uncompelled her, so she would have remembered that I was the one who compelled her.

Oh My God-how will I explain to her that I did it for her own good? "I can explain," I said.

"I don’t need your explanation," she yelled at me. Everyone in the restaurant had their eyes on us. They all had a look on their faces. The look was like they were wondering what could be happening over there.

I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to shout, "It isn’t what you are all thinking," because I actually don’t care about what they are thinking, I just wanted them to get their eyes off of me.

Elizabeth stood up from her seat again and walked out of the restaurant looking really angry. I stood up as fast as I could and ran out of the restaurant going after her.

I was able to catch up with her in an empty street close to the restaurant. I held her from behind. She came to a halt. She turned her face slowly at me. She said angrily, "Please leave my hand alone," and she had to force her hand out of mine.

"Please, calm down and allow me to explain myself," I said softly.

She tried to calm down so she could listen to what I had to say, but I’m sure she wasn’t comfortable hearing what I had to say. "Okay, I want to hear the trash you want to say," she said.

I have a lot to tell you, but I don’t even know how to start. All I have done was just to keep you safe from my miserable world. I really wish you could understand how I feel, Elizabeth," I said softly.

"Are you done?" she asked. That was very harsh, “And I’m also done dating you,” she added.

I didn’t even know what to say again. I became out of words immediately. She walked out of me, while I kept standing in the same spot looking like I was lost. I knew chasing after her was going to be a waste of time.

After a while, she had gone, and Lydia finally showed up, tapping me from behind. I called her after Elizabeth left me on the spot. I turned to face her, "Hey wassup, what happened over here?" she asked jokingly.

Lydia might laugh at me if she notices.

By the way, what’s up with the mood? Are you sure it isn’t nothing much? "she asked.

"Yeah, sure it isn’t," I replied, but I was smiling. How did she know my mood was fucked up? She would later know why my mood wasn’t really good late on, by the way, but we would be having a serious discussion by then, so she would not be able to make a joke out of it. -“ I’m so fucked up right now,” I said to myself.
