Chapter 128

“Again! " He exclaimed.

"Yeah, and he didn’t come alone this time around," I said.

"I hope it didn’t hurt you," he asked. He sounded really caring.

"Nope, I didn’t," I replied calmly.

He said that he would probably show up again very soon. "I guess you should be on the lookout for him."

"Yes, I will be on the lookout for him," I said. But one thing still keeps bothering me, "I added.

"What is that bothering you?" he asked.

"Why is he coming after us? And it doesn’t seem like he is back for his daughter but for revenge," I explained.

"Don’t worry, we are going to find out what he really wants. I will get some wolves to find out," he assured.

"I have to go now. You can call back later if you still have anything to tell me," he added.

"I think that’s all I have to say. Bye," I said.

I hung up the call and returned my phone back to my pocket. I stood by the road side waiting for the traffic light to stop the moving vehicles so the pedestrians would be able to cross the road. After a few seconds of me and waiting, the traffic light stopped the vehicles. I walked across the zebra crossing sign to the other side of the road.

I walked into the sleepy hallow cemetery where Fiona had told me to meet her. The cemetery is the burial ground for many of the citizens of Bowhill’s city, and it is known specifically for being used by the Bowhill’s city covens of witches, who require access to their ancestors’ remains in order to continue practising ancestral magic, because they believe most of their ancestors were buried in the cemetery.

I haven't been here since the other day when me, Josh, and Jack came over here.  Josh had told me a lot about the cemetery back then, and my people also refer to the sleepy hallow cemetery as the city of the dead.

Fiona came out of a corner. She walked slowly towards me, while I also didn’t stop walking in her direction. We finally came to a halt a few steps apart from each other.

"What took you so long?" she asked.

"Won’t you at least greet her first?" I asked.

"I don’t think I need to greet you first," she replied.

"Why………….?" I asked.

"Just keep quiet and follow me," she interrupted.

She is so rude; who does she think she is when I can rip her head out of her body before she can think of doing anything? She turned around and began to walk back to where she had come to meet me.

She walked into a mausoleum. I had entered a mausoleum before, but I guess this was going to be my first. I was going to enter it. I walked directly behind her, then followed her into the mausoleum. It looks like she has been up to something, but I have no idea what it was.
