The Eternal Traveler: A Journey through Twilight and Beyond

Ethan Hunt, a normal person suddenly gets an opportunity to travel to different worlds, starting with the world of 'Twilight.'. Not only does he discover that he now possesses immortality, but he also has the incredible power to copy other people's abilities. With his newfound abilities, Ethan must navigate the challenges and adventures that await him in this Twilight world and beyond. What should you expect from this fanfiction? 1) MC will have a system. Though the system won't have any type of consciousness. It will be more like an information interface that will summarize MC's abilities and their level. There system will not give any quests or rewards to the MC. Basically MC will not be a slave to the system as system will not direct what he should or shouldn't do. (I hope you are clear about this point.) 2) I have not yet decided whether the fanfiction should contain whether Romance or Harem. We will have a vote about this in future chapters. 3) MC will be a Chaotic Neutral person. A chaotic neutral person follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. Of course this applies only to the people who are strangers to him. MC won't hesitate a bit to protect his loved ones. 4) The starting world will be 'Twilight'. I will update you guys, the list of the other worlds in the future chapters. The 'Twilight' world will last for at least 120 chapters, though it may also extend beyond that. I know 120 chapters is quite a lot, but this world is the starting world of our MC as it will shape his personality and his future purview. So please be patient and read it all the way. 5) English can be considered as my third language so I will use the Chat GPT in order to improve the grammar of my fanfiction thus making it interesting and easy for the readers to understand. However if the readers find it to be troublesome or problematic to read then please communicate it to me through the chapter comments. Chat GPT can make the conversations quite robotic, so I will try not to let it affect the conversations between the characters. 6) Lastly, the MC won't be a bystander in the plot of the world. He will actively try to interfere in the plot and won't be afraid to change the plot. Well if you wanted to read the same plot over and again, you could have watched the movies instead of coming here to read my fanfiction. Hope you guys are okay with it. Also the fanfiction will contain quite a few OC's. Moreover each chapter will have a bare minimum of 1000 words and it can go beyond that. I guess this could be considered quite a detailed description of my fanfiction. Please bear with me and enjoy your read. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I own nothing except the main character of the book. The Twilight and the upcoming worlds to which the MC would travel to belong to their respective creators. Also the cover page is not mine. If the owner of the cover page wants it to be taken down, then it can be done. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For 5+ advance chapters visit my patreon. patreon.com/StoryTeller229

"What about the newly acquired ability user?" the man asked.

"He has already been sent to headquarters to undergo his transformation into a higher being. He should reach headquarters in a few months," Eliza replied, bowing.

The man then looked at Eliza and smiled knowingly, "About the little game that you are playing..." He stopped and didn't continue his sentence.

Eliza bowed in embarrassment and tried to apologize.

The man laughed, "It's alright, my child. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. We all have our quirks, after all. Moroeover it can be considered as a part of training too."

Eliza shifted uncomfortably under the man's penetrating gaze, feeling a surge of embarrassment at being caught out in her secret desires.

Taking a deep breath, Eliza gathered her courage and spoke, "I have a request, your excellency. I want to ask if you would allow me to take one of the useless inferior beings from this batch and turn him into a higher being."

The man raised an eyebrow, his gaze betraying a mix of curiosity and amusement.

"I want to play a game," Eliza continued eagerly. "I want the ten men in that room to fight each other, and the one remaining alive will become my slave. I will then turn him into a higher being and have him serve me for eternity."

The man shook his head, his eyes filled with an understanding that sent a shiver down Eliza's spine. "I cannot allow it," he said firmly. "The current situation is not conducive for such actions. I would have entertained your request under different circumstances, but not now."

Eliza nodded her head in obedience and didn't refute or argue against the man's words.

The man sighed, his gaze softening as he regarded Eliza. "I understand your desires, my child, but ths situation doesn't allow me to grant you the request. However, I am willing to make a compromise."

Eliza's ears perked up at the mention of a compromise. "What do you propose, your excellency?" she asked eagerly.

"I will allow you to choose one of the inferior beings to be your slave for a period of five years," the man said. "During this time, you can do whatever you want with him, but you will not turn him into a vampire. At the end of the five years, you will be required to release him from his duties and.. terminate his existence."

Eliza's heart sank at the mention of having to kill her chosen slave. It was not her initial plan, but the prospect of having a loyal slave for five years was too tempting to pass up. "Thank you for your kindness, your excellency," she said, reluctantly smiling.

The man nodded, his eyes showing a hint of affection. "Don't worry, my child. Once we defeat the Volturi coven, you can do as you please with the inferior beings."

Eliza bowed to the man, her determination to eliminate the Volturi strengthening once more.

"Dismissed," the man muttered. Eliza, Victory, and William left the room, leaving the man alone with his thoughts.

As the three of them left the room, William who was walking beside Eliza asked," Eliza why can't we convert a large number of the inferior beings into Vampires. By doing so won't we be able to defeat the Volturi?"

Eliza looked at William a frown appearing on her face," I am glad that you didn't ask such a stupid question in front of his excellency, dear brother."

"Huh?" William was confused as why Eliza considered her question to be stupid.

"Don't you think the Volturi would have thought about this? Won't the higher ups have though about it too?" Victor who walking with them counter questioned William.

Eliza sighed, her frustration evident on her face. "Think about it, William. Converting a large number of inferior beings into vampires would not only pose a significant risk to our kind, but it would also create chaos in the human world. The Volturi would not stand idly by and allow such a disruption to occur. They would see it as a direct challenge to their authority and would retaliate with force."

"But we have the strength and numbers to stand against them, don't we?" William argued.

Eliza shook her head. "It's not just about strength and numbers. The Volturi have centuries of experience and knowledge on their side. They have dealt with rebellions and uprisings before. They know how to manipulate and control situations to their advantage. And if we were to provoke them in such a way, they would not hesitate to use their full power against us.

Victor further added. "Converting a large number of the inferior beings into vampires is not as simple as it sounds, William. It may seem like a solution to overpower the Volturi, but in reality, it would bring more harm than good to our coven."

He continued, "Firstly, when an inferior being is turned into a vampire, their thirst for blood becomes insatiable. The newly turned vampires struggle to control their bloodlust, and the risk of them losing control and exposing our existence to the mortal world is high. This could lead to unwanted attention from the Volturi and potentially put all of us in danger."

He further added," Don't you remember how long did it take for us to control our thirst for blood and the risks we endured throughout the process? Such risks are not worth the effort of turning a larger number of humans into vampires without any abilities."

William's face soured after listening to Victor's reason. Though he knew that Victor wasn't aiming for him when he said that, but he still felt bad nonetheless.

William was the only vampire in the entire coven who didn't have any type of ability and was just a normal vampire. If not for Eliza's unique ability and status in the coven, he would have already been kicked out.

"Moreover," Eliza added attracting the focus of William, "a sudden increase in our coven's numbers would strain our resources. We would have to hunt for more frequently, making it harder to maintain a low profile and increasing the likelihood of drawing attention from the Volturi. Additionally, our existing members would have to adjust to the presence of new vampires, potentially causing friction and discord within our coven."

William nodded, beginning to understand the complexities of the situation. "So, it's not just about overpowering the Volturi, but also about maintaining the balance and safety of our coven."

"Exactly," Eliza affirmed. "We must consider the long-term consequences of our actions. The Volturi have undoubtedly thought about the possibility of us using such a strategy, and they have their ways to counter it. We need to be strategic and calculated in our approach, rather than resorting to reckless measures that could backfire on us."

Victor chimed in, "Eliza is right, William. We need to focus on strengthening our coven through unity and vigilance, rather than risking the stability and security we have worked so hard to maintain. Slowly recruiting the vampires with unique abilities with the help of Eliza is the right way to increase our strength. Focusing on quality rather than in quantity is the right path."

It may seem like their discussion had taken a long time but not even five minutes had passed since their meet up with Elder Eustace.
