This vision was probably the last straw, she had tried not to think that she would never see her parents again, but this vision had reminded her of the ones she had already had in her world.
As Carol hugged her to try to comfort her, she said before bursting into tears, "I couldn't even say goodbye to them..."
Cassy was usually not someone who would cry easily, but this time she had reached her limit.
Cassy after that was inconsolable, and she stopped crying only when she finally fell asleep completely exhausted, Glen wanted to take her in his arms to put her in her bed but Steven preceded him and he carried her to Paige's room following Carol's advice.
It was better for her to spend the night with the person she felt most comfortable with and Paige took her role very seriously and went to bed with her in case Cassy woke up so she wouldn't feel alone.
Meanwhile, Carol told them everything Cassy had told her, the fact that her soul had transmigrated into this body, her powers, the multicolored Mark of the Pentacle on her breast, and finally her apocalyptic visions and the mission The Divine Mage System had given her.
They explained to the boys what The Divine Mage System was and now that they had found the strongest Warrior, which was Steven, her future mission would probably be to find the 7 power stones.
Steven after hearing Cassy's true story felt even more sorry for her.
She hadn't been able to say goodbye to her family or friends and she had been thrown into this world she didn't know to find him, and at only 18 years old, she had been given the task of saving the universe.
No wonder she broke down, the pressure this System had put on her and the loss of her family was far too much for even the bravest of them to bear.
He felt a little lost too, because although he belonged to the Dragon clan, he had always thought he would be a future Warrior like the others.
Never had the thought of being the reincarnation of The Golden Dragon crossed his mind, and he felt bad thinking of the burden he and Cassy would be for Glen and Carol, who had become his adoptive family when his parents had been killed in a battle against the Demons.
According to them, there was no doubt that it was him, because Cassy had told them that the Divine Mage System had recognized him, but because their fate was to fight the Demon Lord, everyone close to them would be in danger, and he didn't want Glen, Adrian, Carol or even Paige to be in danger because of them.
Glen knew him very well so he reassured him saying that they weren't a burden for them and that they were honor to be able to help them and guide them in their missions.
After that, they explained to him that the seal Cassy had drawn was a very powerful one that could only be put in place by a legendary Mage, a Mage who had reached the level 10.
They explained to them that even though here in Astoria there was no legendary Mage, in Spartia there were still some and that one of them had to seal his powers to protect his identity.
They told him that this seal was only temporary and it would disappear when he turned 21, the age at which he could finally shapeshift into a Dragon or until he became powerful enough to break it himself.
It was a seal that allowed him to hide his true identity from everyone until he was strong enough to defend himself against his enemies, and no matter who the Mage was who did it, he did it to protect him.
The boys had many questions for Glen and Carol but most of them they were unable to answer.
What Cassy had seen in her visions would not happen for several years and all they could do now was to continue to train and prepare as best they could for the chaos that the war that was inevitable would bring in their world and in their universe.
...…..
Spartia world 1.01
Spartia was the only world on the higher plane of existence, it was a world rich in spiritual energy and all those born here grew up in ideal conditions to become exceptional beings.
Here, unlike in Astoria, Warriors and Mages of level 8 and 9 were quite common and even if Mages of level 10 remained an exception, there were still few of them.
As for the Warriors, tournaments were regularly organized and a national ranking of the ten best Warriors was updated throughout the year bringing glory to the families, clans and academies that had trained them.
Spartia was about 10 times bigger than Astoria and this world was divided by an indestructible barrier.
2/3 of this world was reserved for Humans who lived in harmony with the clans of legendary Beasts which were represented by the Dragons, the Phoenixes, the White Tigers, the Black Turtles and the Giant Purple Snakes, and the remaining 1/3 which was totally isolated behind this indestructible barrier belonged to the Demons and this part of the world was called Hellfire by the Demons who lived there.
There were no Mages among the Demons, they were unable to make magic pills but they had other advantages.
They were all fearsome Warriors who were born with the particularity of being able to master at least the red flame, and for the most powerful of them, one or two other flames.
Generally Demons had a good affinity with the flame of darkness, metal and earth, which allowed them to forge powerful weapons and to be self-sufficient because those who mastered the green flame could grow what they wanted regardless of the state of the soil.
Some of them also had clairvoyance gifts and were called Prophets, these Demons were respected by the others and they always had a great influence on the power in place.
