Chapter 9

"Ano, what do you mean when you said that this place is yours?"

"Well, how to say this without sounding like a complete douchebag…I bought the whole property which includes the church. I believe that should explain what I wanted to say when I said that this place is mine."

By the time I've finished my sentence, the girl's face switched from confused to scared and then finally to sadness, and while it doesn't matter to me what would happen to her, I wasn't a coldblooded guy. So I decided to make a deal with her and who knows? Maybe I will get lucky.

"Sorry if I buying this place brought you a lot of trouble."

"No, no, no! You don't need to worry. I'll talk with my goddess and we will leave as soon as we pack our stuff, so please give us some time to pack all of our things."

Before she could rush inside the church, I gently grabbed her shoulder.

"Wait for a second, Miss, maybe we could sort this out. Let me talk with your goddess and see if we could strike a deal, after all, I'm feeling pretty bad for evicting you out."

The girl nodded when she heard my words and I could see that there was some hope in her eyes when she heard that maybe we could sort this thing out, hopefully without making them homeless and vulnerable.

Immediately after that, I followed the girl inside the church where we meet with the definition of a legal loli with huge boobs. Don't get me wrong she is a stunner, that is for sure. I mean, she is a beautiful and petite Goddess with a youthful appearance. She has blue eyes and mid-thigh length black hair tied into two twin-tails that reach down to her mid-thighs. Her hair is tied with hair accessories that feature blue and white petals along with bell-shaped ornaments. She has a small frame, which further emphasizes her breasts, hence I'm sure that she could turn heads left and right in my world.

The girl quickly went to her goddess side and informed her about what happened and what I told her. The goddess looked surprised and sad when the girl told her the bad news and to be honest I could understand her. I'm pretty sure they didn't have a good situation seeing that both of them are living in this rundown church and now someone just told them that their home has been bought.

I noticed the goddess looking at me, most likely noticing the fact that I wasn't a mortal thus I've decided to act as I was taught by my mother and introduce myself before I would go into more important details about their situation.

"I'm sorry for being the one to give you two that bad news and before we continue this conversation, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Yoshida Haru and as you have already noticed, I'm not a mortal. I'm a fellow god, precisely a god that's from the category of the god of war."

"I don't know if I should say that I'm glad to meet you or not, seeing how our situation has become, anyway, I'm Hestia, the goddess of the hearth and this child is Bella Cranel, my only member of my familia. Bella said to me that you want to talk about our situation?"

"Yes, I didn't know that people were living here and when I found out about that I felt bad, so I want to make a deal with you. "

"And what are you thinking about? Just so you know, I will not sell myself or my child to you."

"You two are beautiful that's for sure, but I'm not a horny dog or a scumbag that will force a woman to sleep with him. As for what I want, it's pretty simple: I will let you live here without paying rent, but your children are to come with my familia in the dungeon. That's all, nothing too dangerous if you don't take into the equation the fact that the whole city is built around a massive graveyard named The Dungeon and I assure you that you will only earn good things by accepting my offer."

After giving them the offer, I waited patiently for a few minutes as both of them talked about the pros and contras and after ten minutes, Hestia told me their decision.

"Yoshida-san, we would like to accept your offer, but only if a guild worker will be here to make the whole thing a legal document so that neither one of us stab the other party in the back and thank you for not making us homeless."

"That's perfectly fine with me, after all, who would want to believe that there's hope when only pain awaits them?"

"That's wonderful. Once again, thank you and I hope we could get to know each other ."

"My lovely lady, that's a given, after all, I will move here but don't worry I will not attack you in your sleep."

When the morning arrived, I, together with Hestia went to the guild to inform them about our deal and how we would like to make an official contract about this situation which thankfully thanks to Rose, didn't take that much time and by the time of lunch, we returned at the church where Bella was nervously waiting for her goddess.
