Bid Farewell

[ Surebu Village]

The village gave everyone vegetables and salted meat. The children handed flowers to the three women, and the kid demon.

The headmaster stood there with his two young daughters and wife.

" Young lady, you have the eyes of a leader." He spoke.

She lowered her head respectfully and bowed in front of the man and looked at his children with sorrow, they seem to be only ten years of age and in a few years, they would be shipped like merchandise." Sir, I swear it on my life that I will bring everyone back to the village and put the slave thing to rest."

" Grandma! I promise that I will find your daughter!" Kotori called out and waved her hand at the old woman, they became closer within days. It was time for her to bid farewell and pained her to do so. She wanted to stay and live a peaceful life but after finding out about the trade, her quest would continue.

She races on top of the hill with her companions as they continued to walk together down the path. After walking for a half of hour Kagome complained that her feet were hurting. Even though InuYasha did not like the idea everyone decided to take a short break.

However, Kotori took this chance to train herself. She wielded her heavy sword and attacked the target multiple times. She thought about everything that happened so far and each strike was harder than the last one.

It lasted for three hours.

" Are you done resting yet?" InuYasha asked, impatiently.

Just as Kagome prepared to stand up, a thought popped up in her head and she remembered." Hey, guy. I forgot to mention this but I have a important test to take today and I need to head back home."

" THAT WOULD TAKE WEEKS." InuYasha complained.

" InuYasha is right, and I'm already behind in all of my classes." A sweat dropped from Kagome's forehead.

" Take Kirara with you and just meet up with us later." Said Sango.

The small cat demon meow happily, swaying her tails back in forth then transformed in her full-sized demon form, flames emerged from her feet and tails. Kagome climbed on Kirara comfortably," Thank you Sango, I will be back in a day or two."

" Where the hell do you think you're going?" InuYasha asked, aggressively.

" Sit boy." Kagome command, and just as he jumped in the air to prevent her from leaving. His necklace glowed and his face planted on the ground dangerously.

" Guys, Ko have been training for a while now. Should we be worried?" the fox demon ask.

"Just a little more. "Her body was exhausted to the point it was difficult for her to breathe as she panted heavily. The weight of the sword suddenly became too much, and her hands were bruised. Her legs were about to give out, but she still charged at the tree.

Kotori fell backwards on the grass and looked up. That when he caught a glimpse of Kagome riding on the cat demon.

A couple of droplets of rain hit her forehead and the sky began to darken." It looks like a storm coming….."

For a second, InuYasha couldn't sworn that he caught Naraku's scent but it disappeared.

Kikyo stood on top of the mountain and looked down at the castle a few feet below her following a dirt road. She could feel demonic energy coming from the piece of land with a large building right in the center.

"Naraku, what do you intend to do with that child?" Kikyo thought as the wind picked up and blew her hair to the side. She quickly turned around after sensing someone's presence, she shot her arrow at the bush.

It hit his puppet directly in the chest. His evil laugh came from the head, and that startled her. She grabbed the arrow and destroyed the remaining piece of the puppet.

Naraku sat down and looked out the window envisioning the dead priestess. Oh, how he yearned for her dearly.

In one of his was the stolen necklace and he smirked; it even sends chills down some of his incarnation's spines. There were roughly seven of them standing in front of him obediently waiting for orders on demand.

The jewels were placed on a stand with a soft pillow and were half completed, which made him a hundred times more powerful than his opponents.

An alertness was in his eyes, then four of his incarnations lowered their heads then vanished. The other tree stayed in the same spot kneeling down upon his presence.
