Formation Book

An old man stood at the podium facing everyone and announced the start of the auction. This made the loud audience quiet down.

He started to call out the items for auction along with their prices.

The first few items were 1 Star low-level pills and equipment. They also started to sell 1 Star low-level martial skill books.

Eric had a couple of different levels 6 creations buy up those items.

The auction was also selling recipes and low-level formation books.

After a while, the 1 Star mid-ranked items started to show up, which didn't interest him.

The auction started to move to the 1 Star high-ranked items. The one thing that got Eric interested was a book about defense formation.

That was the first defense formation book that was being sold. Since it was a high-rank item, Eric couldn't get any of the level 6 creations to bid for it. That might be suspicious and they might get attacked after leaving.

The old man who was doing the auction called out, "The starting price is 1 gold."

Eric started the bid. "1 gold and 10 silver."

No one else voted for it because there weren't any formation masters in the audience. If they were here, then it would have cost a lot more.

As the auction for the book was about to close, another voice from one of the VIP boxes came out, "1 gold and 20 silver."

The voices in the audience started to spread, "Isn't that Elder Alpin from the Crescent sect?"
