Another half a month passed by and Eric and the Mercenaries got back to the city.

Eric quickly paid the mercenaries and went back to the store. Thankfully there had been no problems while he had been away.

On the journey, Alchemist 1 and Forging Master 1 had both risen to the 2-star low rank. The Alchemist 2 - 4 and Forging Master 2 -4 had also risen to the 1-star high rank.

Eric also quickly upgraded all the recipes to the 2nd-star low rank which cost a gold coin for each upgrade.

After coming back, Eric also heard about an auction that was about to happen.

It was a very powerful auction that was held every couple of years for cultivators. Even the elders of the Crescent Sect would come by to bid for the items that would show up so you also need to be rich to get the good items from the auction.

A couple of days later, Eric also got an invitation letter from the auction as a VIP. That was usually only reserved for foundation stage cultivators so it can be seen that the reputation of the store was a lot better than what Eric thought it would be.

A few days passed by and the day of the auction had come.

Eric took 5 level 7 cultivators with him to the store.

The auction usually sold a decent amount of martial skill books that Eric wanted to buy.

Eric also sent in some level 6 cultivators to hide in with other cultivators. This was in case Eric wanted to buy some things but didn't want other people to find out he was the one to buy them.

Eric showed his invitation and was quickly escorted to the VIP booth. After a while, the auction finally started.
