Checkmate.

Zillah woke up on the morning, still in the valley.

She looked around, no on was there.

She stood up, from the ground, should I go home, she thought.

She decided to walk around the valley for sometime. Further steps and she saw Ghazan meditating.

She smiled and walked to him.

"Greetings master",

"Zillah you're awake, how are you doing," he asked, indicating for her to sit down.

"I'm doing fine", she sat down beside him.

" where is Alvah"?...

Ghazan replied,..."He left",

"How was it?, she asked him curiously.

He replied...."Alvah is reasonable and wise, he wasn't upset or seeking for answers, instead he found the answer".

"He's a risk bearer", Zillah said.

"Risk bearer", Ghazan asked confused.

"I almost died"...., she said smiling

"Zillah"..., he focused his sight on her, "how was your test?"..

"it was okay, alvah was dependable".

"The danger we encountered was quite different from the first. Alvah didn't get to tell me the name of the test"...

"But, he had to leave the fight to find out what test we were facing to enable him solve it".

"I was surrounded by carcasses"

"Carcasses".... Ghazan repeated.

"Yes, they replenish once they die, we were surrounded by them. We kept fighting them but they kept coming out from the ground.

Alvah said he had to figure out what test we were having so..."

"Ahhh," she shouted.

"What is it?".... Ghazan asked.

"I summoned it"...

she said smiling.

"The Ghazan's glide",....he asked.

"How did you feel?"....he asked smiling too.

"I love him, he is very close to me. I would always bring him here to feel free, but he loved the skies".

"You",...she hit his arm. They both laughed

"I still wish to train you Zillah, do you comply?"

"Yes",....she responded.

"Not on your Powers, but hand combat".

"Okay, I haven't really tried that before".

"Perfect", he exclaimed.

"How is that perfect",... she asked him looking confused.

"So that I know I am teaching from scratch. You start with attack and I'll defend".

They stood few metres apart from each other, both looking into each other's eyes intensely.

A leaf flew past them, and the moment it landed,

Zillah appeared in front of him, he kicked her abdomen.

She flew back, before landing he appeared at her back and kicked her at the back.

She flipped a few times and landed in a squatting position.

"You said you weren't attacking".

"My bad"....he said.

He walked to her and helped her up.

They started from the beginning, "again".

"I'll throw this pebble"....,

he threw it up, the moment it touched the earth, she appeared in front of him.

He teleported backward when she appeared at his back.

"Nice"... he said, she sent a piercing wind to him he barely dodged it by leaning to the right side.

"What?"..., he asked surprised

Using the air, she came towards him, but her movement was quite strange.

Ghazan wondered, what she was up to.

He appeared closer to her which was sudden but she released air from her body, he flew back a few distance.

"Zillah"...

He called her name, suddenly the air around him began lifting him up, he looked around and found himself mid air.

He glared at her, but she didn't see, she made part of the air above to be as sharp as an arrow, falling from the sky speedily to Pierce him.

He widened his eyes, he quickly teleported. Standing directly in front of her, he flicked her forehead.

She closed her eyes, when she heard a sharp sound. Ghazan turned around to see the earth, there was a vertical hole created in the the ground.

"What were you thinking", he asked calmly.

She was looking confused.

"I told you hand combat, you went ahead and used your powers".

She gasped, covering her mouth,

"sorry master, I forgot". it wasn't intentional.

"What were you thinking using that skill on me, I'm not your enemy".

She walked forward, "what skill is that".

"Manipulation, but it's damage is realistic. It falls under transformation and control of air".

"Don't do that again, he warned.

She apologized once again, sorry master.

"it's a good thing celestials can teleport, otherwise"....

"Sorry"... she said again, this time smiling.

"it's okay".

"That power is quite useful, but it is more efficient if the person is at rest and you will do that by freezing the opponent.

That way when you launch tens or hundreds of them, it will hit directly and with just one shot".

"I can do that many, Wow..."

"Yes, the best part of having a power is when you save lives, you feel more like a hero, don't you?"...

"Master", she smiled.

"Call me uncle", he said smiling back at her

She froze for a few seconds.

"I can't do that".

"Why",... he stood up.

"I'm a student, a student addresses formally, it's better like that".

"So if you're not in training you can call me uncle".

"Yep",... she replied.

"You",... he slapped her head softly and rubbed it.

She smiled.

"Go back".., he said to her.

"Mmh", she teleported back to Elysian.

She was done freshening so she decided to go out.

She walked gently through the halls headed to the library.

In the library, she looked around, "no one is here".

"If omna is not in the library, no one is".

"I should check on the guys". She teleported to the room.

She knocked on the door, it took long before she heard a sound.

"They aren't responding to me".

She opened the door, they were seated on the floor opposite each other with a little table at the center.

So focused..., she thought.

They looked at her, and went back to what they were doing.

I love disturbance, she said to herself.

She left the room,

Knock, knock,...

they heard the sound of knocking on the door.

They looked at the door and looked at themselves, they continued their action.

Zillah was still knocking when the door opened and someone pulled her in, it was daivik.

"Sshh"..., he said looking at her. She was surprised.

"What is happening?"..., she looked at the table where they were seated.

Aeron was so concentrated, after a few minutes had passed, "Checkmate".

"No", daivik shouted.

Zillah looked at him,

Aeron was smiling, "hey Zillah".

She looked at Aeron.

Daivik looked at her, "what?'.... she asked.

"You just lost this round".

"Did he?".... Aeron asked.

Daivik walked to his bed and laid down face flat, he was upset.

Zillah walked and sat down opposite Aeron.

"How many times has he lost?"

Aeron smiled, "he..."

"Don't say it"...., daivik warned with his finger up.

"Whoa, I didn't expect you to be bad at this"... she said to Daivik.

"Wow Zillah, give it a try"... he said glaring at her.

She leaned her head back. He is not the type to get angry but when he does get angry, it's very noticeable.

"I will", she replied. "let's begin" she told Aeron.

"Okay"....,he agreed,

They arranged the game, "you go first"...Aeron offered.

"No, you go first",....she offered back.

"It doesn't matter", daivik said.

She looked at him and said

"I feel you've lost a lot daivik, how many times did he Lose"....she asked Aeron.

"Well for today, it's more than three"

She was Soo shocked hearing this, "It's still morning".

Daivik smiled then frowned. "You know what, take all the time you need, but win him in this round".

"If he wins you, you will apologize to me".
