Chapter 1 - Blood of the Primal Gods/Elders of the Dragon Clan

Dragon Palace, Genesis Star, Middle Realm.

"Since the dawn of time, we have sent our children to the lower realms to train them." Sitting in a throne room, an elderly man looks towards young woman with dissatisfaction. The woman bowed deeply towards him while shivering, not daring to look at him. "We sent you to a planet where there were mostly humans. Humans are sly, crafty and sinister creatures. Their greed can lead to your demise. They may be physically weak but the are very troublesome to deal with. We sent you to the Ancient Earth Realm not only to hone you mentally but to search for and claim any legacies that have been left behind." Suddenly the elderly man's eyes became sharp like swords and his aura made the young woman unable to breathe.

"But you had the audacity to fall in love with a human! You even gave birth to it's child. Tell me... what I should do with you?" His aura exploded and everyone in his palace felt like a sledgehammer hit their chest. The young woman's face turned white and blood leaked from her lips. She finally lifted her head and looked at her father. Her eyes glowed with determination.

"Royal Father... Is my child still alright? Please... I have already lost my husband, I can't lose her too!" The young lady held back her tears. Her daughter was her life and if she lost her, she wouldn't know what she would do.

Her father lookex at and observed his daughter while thinking about how he should go about solving this problem. With his brows furrowed, he calls out. "Draco!"

As he called him out, a middle aged man materialized beside him and knelt down. "Yes you Majesty?"

"Bring Lumi's daughter here and arrange a place for here to sleep." After Draco heard that, he gave out a salute and faded away like a ghost. The Elderly man looked at his daughter again and sighed. "Lumi, your daughter will stay in our upper realm until her coming of age ceremony. Then she will train herself in the lower realm of her choice." As he was talking, he remembered something. "Were there any special legacies or inheritances in the Ancient Earth Realm?"

Lumi was so stunned that she didn't hear anything else.

"My daughter... I don't have to be separated from her?" Her eyes seemed to have regained life and became as bright as the stars.

"Yes. She can stay here but I will not recognize her as my granddaughter unless has the talent and skill to prove that she is worthy. She has 15 years to make something out of herself. Now, did you receive and legacies from the Ancient Earth Realm?"

Lumi felt like her world became brighter. With tears streaming down her face she replied. "Yes, me and my husband entered an ancient tomb and I estimated it to be at least 40,000 years old. Inside that tomb there was a human cultivation manual. According to its description, it can let the user utilize the power of the stars to make their body stronger. I tried to use it but it only works for humans."

Her father thinks for a bit before saying. "Give that legacy to your daughter. Have her cultivate diligently for now. With our bloodline flowing through her, she should be stronger than a normal human."

At this time, Draco appeared with another person beside the Emperor and knelt down. "I have brought her as you have commanded."

"Mhn... You may go." Draco dissapeared again and the Emperor looked at the little girl. "What is your name little one?" As he looked at the child, his eyes couldn't help but soften a little. He could feel the bloodline connection from her was very strong. While it was strong, he felt something else within it. It was this something else that made his eyes open wide.

Not noticing his reaction, the little girl in front of him looks at him and says. "My name is Eira. That uncle from earlier told me that you... are my grandfather? Is it true?" She look at him with bright eyes that were full of anticipation and curiosity.

Seeing those bright eyes that looked like his daughter's, He came to a decision and said. "Yes, I am your grandfather and I am also the Dragon Emperor. Your mother is the Dragon Princess and since you are her daughter. As her daughter and as my granddaughter, you will have many responsibilities in the future. I have high expectations for you."

Eira looked at him and smiled. "I won't let you down, grandfather."

The Dragon Emperor nodded and smiled. He then looked at his daughter, Lumi and zpoke through voice transmission. "I have changed my mind... I will take her as my granddaughter. The reason is that other than our dragon bloodline and human bloodline, there seems to be something else in her. As she grows older, it will become obvious what her other bloodline is. For now, we can only watch."

"Thank you father." Lumi held back her tears and felt that a burden was lifted from her shoulders.

The Dragon Emperor nodded. "You should go to your courtyard. Take Eira with you." He turned towards Eira and something appeared out of thin air. "This is a jade token. When you are outside, this will help someone identify you as a Dragon clan member. Tomorrow, I will introduce you to your peers and elders. For now, you and your mother can go to your courtyard."

"Yes grandfather." Eira said. She then ran to her mother and grabbed her hand. "So this is where you grew up?"

Lumi led Eira out of the throne room "Yep, I spent the first 15 years of my life here. Then I was sent to the lower realms to train and hone myself. Now that my training period is over, I came back."

"15 years? Why only 15?" Eira asked curiously.

"When you turn 15 years old, you will have your coming of age ceremony. During the ceremony, you will spar with your peers to see who is the strongest out of the group. I was the 2nd strongest."

"Who was the strongest?" Eira asked another question.

"The strongest was the man who brought you here, Draco."

"You mean that Uncle the brought me to see grandfather?"

Lumi nods. After this Lumi begins to tell Eira about her clan.

The Ancient Dragon clan is one of the many beast clans. The clan is the top 5 in producing talented members But they have never had anyone win the Youth Martial Meeting in the past 2000 years. Thus, every beast clan thinks that the Ancient Dragon clan is falling from their former glory.

The Youth Martial Meeting is for youths inbetween the ages 12 and 18. It takes place every 3 years and is hosted by the winner of the last meet.

By the time they arrive at Lumi's courtyard, it was almost night time. At this time, a woman came out of the courtyard. "Princess, your finally here..." She was about to run up and greet Lumi but saw that there was someone holding her hand. "Princess... this is?"

"Is that you Melinda? Melinda, this is Eira and she is my daughter." Lumi introduced Melinda to Eira. Melinda is the head maid of Lumi's courtyard. The name of Lumi's courtyard is Luminous Courtyard. It was called this because this is the place where the stars and the moon shine the brightest.

When Melinda got to know of the situation, she was shocked and relieved at the same time. After a while, dinner was ready and Eira and her mother ate together. When Lumi finished eating, she looked up towards Eira. "Eira... after dinner, I will give you some good things."

"What kind of good things?" Eira asked.

"Its a surprise!" Lumi looked at Eira's puffy cheeks and laughed. "Finish your food and I will show you." When Eira heard this, she threw away all of her manners and ate her food like a ravenous wolf. Within 4 minutes, she finished eating. She looked at her mother and smiled. Lumi smiled back and stood up from the table.

"Follow me." Eira got up and followed her to a room.

Once we got in to the room, Lumi took out a piece of paper and threw it towards the door. The paper hit and stuck to the door and in the next moment, the walls and the door were covered in a blue colored haze.

"What I just used was a noise cancelling talisman. It blocks the noice inside the room from going out. Now I will give what I have for you." After saying this, a book and 9 glass viles and a jar of pills.

"What is this?" Eira opened her eyes wide is shock. When she saw the viles, her heart beat harder and he blood seemed to boil in excitement.

"According to the tomb, the book is a cultivation method called 'The Stellar Transformation Method'. The cultivation method is used by an ancient race called the Primal God Clan. 1 million years ago, the Primal God clan abandoned the upper realms and haven't been seen since. That was until I met your father. Your father was one of the last of the Primal God race and that tomb we explored was actually his family Inheritance. He wanted me to give it to you." While she said this, she used her essence to make one of the vials float above her hand. Then, she squeezed her hand and the vial broke, releasing its contents. She separated the bits of crushed jade and looked back at her daughter. "These vials contain the blood essence of the ancient primal gods. You have very faint traces if the Primal God bloodline within you and these vials will make it stronger."

Eira looked at this ethereal scene in front of her and asked. "What will happen if I absorb this blood essence?" The blood was a bright gold color and it made her unable to take her eyes off of it. Her blood boiled in excitement as she looked at the drop of blood essence floating in the air.

"When you absorb this blood essence... Perhaps, your talent will become better. Maybe, you might even increase your cultivation directly. I don't really know what will happen... but we can only try. Now, close your eyes and empty your mind... focus on your inner world..." Lumi let the 1st drop of blood essence float towards the center of Eira's eyebrows. When the blood essence came into contact with Eira's skin, she began to glow with a resplendent light. Lumi was startled and quickly put up another isolation barrier. Then began to break the other jade vials and brought the blood essence to Eira's eyebrows.

One by one, she began to absorb the blood essence. While this was happening, amazing changes occurred in the inside and outside of her body. Her skin had the luster of white jade. Her skin became tougher and stronger while staying soft. Her muscles became more elastic and stronger. Her blood was now a golden-red color and her bones were tinged with gold. Her bone marrow was completely gold.

A change like this would usually have some pain with it but Eira didn't feel anything. Eira was experiencing something else right now.

"Where am I?" Eira was in a different place that was definitely not the palace. There were trees surrounding the clearing that she was in. The grass was swaying in the wind, the moonlight filled her with boundless amounts of energy. She was surprised to see a small house nearby and walked towards it.

When she arrived near the house, she suddenly froze as she heard a voice in her head. "After 900,000 years, I finally have an inheritor. Young child, don't just stand there. Come here." It was the voice of a middle aged lady. I then heard her chuckling. "You don't have to worry little one. I won't bite."

Eira was released from her stupor and walk to the door. When she was about to open the door, the door suddenly opened itself and revealed a very beautiful woman before me. She smiled at me and exclaimed in surprise. "Dragon blood?"

"According to my mother, my father was one of the Primal God race. My mother is a dragon."

After looking at the child in front of her for a while, she introduced herself. "My name is Athena and the blood essence you absorbed was mine. I left a wisp of my soul inside of my blood essence and when you absorbed it, I took refuge in your spiritual sea. And this where we are now."

Eira looked at the beautiful woman infront of her and said. "My name is Eira, it's nice to meet you."

"Eira... so you are of ice dragon lineage. Okay Eira, I have something to give to you." Athena bent down and pressed her finger against Eira's forehead. At this time, a mass of information flooded into Eira's head. This information included cultivation techniques, weapon and movement techniques, how to use instruments and even drawing and painting.

"This is.." Eira was gonna continue speaking but Athena stopped her. "Continue to absorb the information and when you are done, I will send you out. I will summon you in 24 hours." After saying this, she faded away like she wasn't there to begin with. Eira closed her eyes and continued to absorb the information. This continued for 10 hours.

When she opened her eyes she was back inside of the room and saw her mother looking at her. "Mother." Eira smiled at her mother and Lumi smiled back.

"How do you feel?" Lumi asked worriedly.

"I feel... great." Eira lept off of the bed and when she touched the floor, she noticed that something was off and so did Lumi. "Eira... your taller..." Eira is only 5 years old and her height only went up to her mother's thigh. But now, after she absorbed the bloodline, the top of Eira's head had now reached the middle of her stomach.

"Being taller isn't bad..." Eira said while getting used to her body.

At this time, the door suddenly opened and Melinda looked at me like she saw a monster.

"Young Miss?" Eira turned around and saw Melinda looking confused.

"Oh, hey Aunty."

Lumi looked at Melinda and asked. "Is it my father?"

"Yes princess, the Emperor wants to introduce Young Miss to the clan. He will be here in 2 hours. We have already prepared her dress." Melinda clapped her hands and 4 maids walked through the door. They each bowed towards Eira and her mother. "We greet the Princess and Young Miss."

"These maids will be in charge of taking care of your daily needs from now on." Melinda looked at Eira and said this. "Alright, breakfast has been prepared and after that, the Emperor will be here to pick up young miss..." After giving the 4 maids their instructions, Eira and her mother were led to the dining room and where they ate their breakfast. After breakfast Eira was led the bathhouse and after she was washed up, The maids helped her put on her dress.

The dress was light and felt like a cloud. It was soft and tough. Eira didn't know what material was used to make the dress but she could tell that it was the most valuable piece of clothing she had ever worn in her life.

When she came out of the courtyard, she saw her grandfather standing in the garden with her mother. They sensed her presence and turned around. Eira smiled and walked faster. "Grandfather!"

"Eira, are you ready to meet y-" He was gonna continue to speak but felt a change in Eira's aura. "This is... Primal God race..." He then turned to look at his daughter and when he saw her nod he thought of something. "Her bloodline was very faint yesterday if I remember correctly. Could it be... did your bloodline awaken completely?"

He looked at me in shock. He then began to laugh at the heavens. "Hahahahah... So it turns out that I was angry for no reason yesterday! Who knew that my daughter had a good eye for men! How could the man my daughter chose be normal! Hahahahah..."

After laughing for a while, The Dragon Emperor looked at his granddaughter and asked. "I know that children view the father's like gods. I was the same with my father as well. Can you describe to me what kind of man your father was?"

Eira smiled as she remembered the tall figure in her memories that protected her and her mother during a beast tide. "My father was bravest, fiercest warrior of the kingdom. His back always stood tall, never buckling under pressure. He is the person I looked up to the most and what I aspire to be like when I grow up." Near the end, tears streamed down Eira's face but her voice never trembled, never faltered, her eyes filled with determination. She wiped the tears away and looked towards her grandfather and smiled again.

When her grandfather saw this, his eyes shined like he found a diamond in the rough. "Good! As expected of my late son in law. Now, lets go to the main hall and make the announcement." He lifted his hand and Eira began to float in the air and starter to spin and flip around. Eira exclaimed in surprise and looked at her mother.

"Relax Eira. You'll get sick if keep spinning." Lumi laughed at Eira who puffed up her cheeks and slowly relaxed until she stopped spinning. She looked at her grandfather and then looked below as she saw the ground getting further away.

In 10 minutes they arrived at the main palace where there were people waiting for them. There were gaurds on both side of the hallway inside the building. At the entrance of the building there were people waiting for us. There was a middle aged woman who looked around the same age as the Dragon Emperor. On both of her sides, there were a young man and woman who looked similar to my mother. The young man had another person beside him. He was like the younger version of the young man.

We landed at the entrance of the building and Eira noticed their scrutinizing gazes but remained calm. Lumi went forward and bowed. "Lumi greets Mother." She then looked at her daughter and introduced her mother to her. "Eira, this is my mother, Empress Mei."

Empress Mei looked at her granddaughter and observed her. Eira looked back at her. Empress Mei decided to add some spiritual pressure and everyone's face changed. Eira knees bent for a little bit but to everyone's surprise, she slowly straightened her back and exerted her own spiritual pressure. It wasn't strong enough to fight away the pressure from her grandmother but it kept her from falling to her knees.

Lumi looked at her Eira who's sweat was dripping from her nose. She looked at the young man beside her mother and he smiled and shook his head. "My niece is about to breakthrough." Everyone that heard him looked at him and then looked back at Eira with a strange glint in their eyes. When they looked back at her, they were stunned. The Dragon Emperor opened his eyes wide at this sight. All of the heaven and earth essence began to surge towards Eira.

Eira broke through more than once...

Impurities began to seep out of her pores only for them to be burnt away by the golden light emanating from her body. Her eyes began to glow golden as it seemed like sparks of electricity were dancing amongst a golden flame.

Body Tempering Stage 1...

The rate of her breakthrough seemed to slow to a crawl after reaching stage 3 and the heaven and earth essence stopped surging wildly. Everything returned to its tranquil state but everyone's minds and hearts were still surging. Empress Mei's thoughts were the most chaotic. She walked up to Eira and said. "Sorry about that darling. I just noticed that you were only a little ways away from the next stage so I gave you a bit of stimulation. Who would've know that you would breakthrough to the 3rd stage... How are you feeling?" What no one know is that the only reason she broke through 3 times at once is because the blood essence she absorbed the night before had left some left over energy in her meridians.

Eira looked at her grandmother. She then looked at and observed her body for any changes. "I feel different. Good but different."

This was when the young man stepped up. "That's great. Let me introduce myself. My name is Luke and I am your mother's brother. The silent one at the door is my other sister and your aunt. Her name is Crystal. The boy beside me is my son and your cousin. Introduce yourself."

The boy looked at his father and looked at me with a smile. "My name is Winter. Its nice to meet you." He put out his hand and Eira grabs and shakes it. "Nice to meet you too. My name is Eira, let's get along."

After everyone introduced themselves, The Dragon Emperor spoke up. "We should head inside so the elders don't wait too long."

Everyone nods and heads inside. Inside this hallway, there were gaurds on both sides and at the end of the hallway were 2 gaurds and a door.

"Your Majesty. Everyone is here and accounted for." The Dragon Emperor nods and the gaurd opens the door.

When the door opened, we were greeted with the sight of people arguing over something. When the door opened, everyone became quiet and stared at the Emperor. The Emperor Furrowed his brows and said. "What are you people arguing over?"

"Your majesty, are you really letting that half breed-." Before he could even finish speaking the air around him froze and his blood flow began to slow down. He looked up and saw the Emperor and Empress with dark expressions on their face and immediately wanted to apologize but before he could, the Emperor's aura exploded and the rest of the elders immediately froze. Eira didn't feel it at all and only looked at the man kneeling on the ground with loathing.

"Do you want to rebel against the clan? I have already made my decision! Eira, the daughter of Princess Lumi is my granddaughter and is apart of out lineage. If you don't like my decision, you will be charged with treason. Do I make myself clear?" The Emperor looked like he was about shoot ice pit of his eyes. Eira looked at her grandfather and ran up to him and touched his hand.

Feeling someone touch his hand, he turned around slowly and saw that it was Eira. Eira shook her head and stepped in front of her grandfather. When Lumi saw this she almost ran up to pull her daughter back but was pulled back by her sister Crystal. "Why are you stopping me?"

Crystal shook her head and said. "Your daughter is more intelligent than you know. She is also very observant. Just watch."

She then turned to Eira with faint interest.

Eira scanned the room. "I know that everyone in this room looks down on humans. I have no other option than using my talent and skill to prove myself." She then let her out and everyone froze.

"Stage 3 body tempering?" To these elders, this cultivation stage is nothing to them but when had they ever seen a 5 year old at stage 3 of the Body tempering realm? The youngest stage 3 body tempering martial artist the clan had was 6 and was about to turn 7 years old.

Her family that was behind her was also surprised at how well she could control her aura at her age.

The Dragon Emperor stepped up beside his granddaughter and scanned the room. "As you can see, she has more talent than most of the youths in the top 5 clans. She even beats them in confidence. In 7 years, she will compete in the Youth Martial Meeting. I won't ask her to win but I am confident that she will place in the top 100." Eira looked at her grandfather with a smile and walked back to her mother.

Eira looked at them and shrugged her shoulders. "If I don't place some pressure on myself, then I won't grow. My father told me this. Everything he taught me, I have remembered it and will keep it in my heart. In 7 years, they will shut up. If they still aren't convinced..." A cold glint flickered in Eira's eyes. "...Then I will beat them into submission."

After this event, the majority of the other clans got wind of a Half-Breed in the Dragon clan. They also found out the the half-breed is the daughter of Princess Lumi and a Human from the lower realms. This caused the peaceful streets to become full of people and beasts discussing this breaking news.

While this was going on, Eira was cultivating but it wasn't the cultivation manual that came with the legacy. It was the manual that Athena personally used. It was called the Celestial Body Cultivation Method. Amongst the Primal God Race, only Athena and Ares ever cultivated it and they turned into the most fierce warrior of their race.

Facing the window, stardust and moonlight slowly gathered onto Eira's body.

"Very good. Now absorb the stardust and moonlight like how I taught you. When you get to the 1st level if the cultivation technique, you will be able to absorb sunlight and you will also grow stronger." Athena was talking through Eira's spiritual sea and teaching her how to cultivate using this method.

Eira absorbed the stardust and moonlight into her skin and she began to glow. This resplendent light was as if the heavens were descending to the mortal world. Eira could feel that she was breakthrough but Athena stopped her. "Wait... Don't break just because you can. Earlier today, you broke through 3 times and you haven't stabilized your cultivation yet. Wait until you are completely full of celestial power. You will attack your breakthrough in 2 months. You need to keep this habit in mind at all times. Only by having a sturdier foundation, even when you have a weaker cultivation, can you be perfect." Eira nodded and continued to cultivate for 2 more hours. After 2 more hours, she was summoned by Athena to her spiritual sea.

"Eira, you have made very good progress for today so I will reward you. I will teach you how to fight first. Then we will move onto weapons when you know how to use your limbs."

Eira nodded and stepped towards her Master. "I am eager to learn."

Athena nods her head in satisfaction. She steps forward a bit and bends down. She place her finger on Eira's head and sends her memories. Eira looked through these memories and looked at Athena before focusing on these memories. After sifting through her memories Eira looked back at her master and looked like she wanted to cry.

Athena could guess what she was thinking and said. "Your training should only be half of what I did. I was 10 years old when I had started this training and you have only turned 5. Actually, you are quite tall for a 5 year old. You should do 70 percent of my training so we can see some results." While Eira was about to begin training, Other clans, humans and beasts, were beginning to get eyes on this new member of the Dragon clan.

Phoenix Clan House, Main Hall.

All of the major clans gathered, and were discussing the news and were trying to figure out if all of the news was true. While they were discussing this, the door opened and 5 elderly men and woman walked through.

"The Phoenix Clan Patriarch!" Everyone in the room turned and looked at him. This was the strongest man in the entire middle realm at 6th stage Divine Master and right behind him were 4 others and they were at the 4th and 5th stage of the Divine Master realm. The Phoenix clan Patriarch put his hand up and gathered everyone's attention.

"Earlier today, we all recieved reports of the Dragon Princess have a child with a human from the lower realms. Well I have gathered more information on this child before making my way over here. Her name is Eira and she is 5 years old but the dragon clan has been blessed with her appearance. Her cultivation for a 5 year old girl from the lower realms is rather high. She is at the 3rd stage of the body tempering realm. She will only continue to grow from here on. I have gathered you all here today to prepare for the Youth Martial Meet. For the next several years my Phoenix Clan will provide your clans resources to contend with the dragon clan. I have a feeling that their new generation will be full of talent and we cannot let them win this tournament. After this tournament, we will slowly tie the nuce around their neck without them noticing. With the old fogey Azure Dragon Elder being in closed door cultivation, there will be no way they can defeat our clans if we are united."
