Chapter 5[Burned toilet paper]

Without hesitation June jumped out of the battle mage's arms, completely forgetting that he could ask him to use his magic to arrive faster to the child.

The fall is deep and it is unknown if Momo had survived the fall.

"Are you out of your mind? How could you just throw him in this hole?" His chest heave up and down from anger as he took heavy breaths trying to calm himself down. The world had long been a corrupted place even long before the people had been bestowed powers. He knows that this is just a common occurrence, but since it happened right in front of him he couldn't turn a blind eye.

"We are just checking if the place is safe." The man had the audacity to wash his hands off responsibility.

"Scram!" June said through gritted teeth, that he knew he could not do anything despite his inner range and just turned around and jumped into the hole.

The hole was a little bit deep and he nearly dislocated his ankle, luckily there is a soft cushion of leaves.

There are stairs leading down the hole, he cast healing magic on himself before walking down. Spider webs were all around the place, there are writings on the wall like those in ancient Egypt, and every sound he make would echo. June wouldn't even be surprised if bats came flying at his face just like the common scenes in movies.

"Momo?!" June called out in an attempt to know the child's location.

"Big brother I'm here!" The voice came deeper through the passage and he walked further down until he found the underground floor. There is a big gold statue, it looked a bit like Pharaohs. June doesn't want to approach it because of the dense aura he is feeling from that place but strangely enough there are several knocks inside it, looks like someone or something is inside.

The silver head doesn't want to come near that place but the what ifs of the child being locked inside made him to suck it up and try prying it open.

After walking a few steps forward, a creaking sound was heard as the golden statue opened and then emerged a mummy with the child he is looking for.

"Momo!"

"Brother!"

The mummy made a hollow growling sound, its body ready to attack the silver healer, he could pretend to have some holy attributes by using his golden light of healing and then he can run but then June couldn't take away the child and it defeated the purpose of him coming here to rescue Momo.

He could only clench his teeth and lunge forward towards the mummy, June ran to the monster as fast as he could, using the momentum he stabbed the monster with a small knife he brought with him.

As an undead monster, the mummy did not even flinch though its wrappings slightly trembled and it dropped Momo on the ground. " Run, you are a nuisance to me. A chicken bag would be no use to me if it's dead."

The silver head glared at the child, the child doesn't know why he suddenly changed his tune.

"Brother I-" Momo's words were cut off by June, he was pushed off and fell into another door. Before the secret door could completely close he saw June pulling a red piece of paper before laughing crazily.

Momo sat inside the room, his legs was injured from the fall earlier that he was easily pushed here by the healer. He clenched his fist, remembering the angel brother calling him nuisance.

There is a small passage leading outside the gate. It's like a secret exit of some sort and before he knew it he was out of the gate without even defeating the final boss. A man grabbed him by the shoulders, he can feel his burning rage albeit hidden his aura is extremely terrifying.

"Did you see a man with Red eyes and Silver hair inside?" The boy stopped moving, the figure of the man pushing him was the last one he saw. The brother angel who calls him chicken bag, strangely even though he looked at him with those annoyed eyes he knew that he didn't mean it. Strange, he should feel hurt by the sudden shift of his attitude towards him.

"I don't " Despite the smile of the blonde man in front of him, he can feel that he is no ordinary person. He doesn't want to say anything about the silver head and quickly denied it.

"Don't lie, my brother used this bead I gave to you. If you lie one more time I'll cut you down. "

The man's face immediately darken as he pulled a gray bead on Momo's pocket. The child did not know when it ended up in his pocket, everything just happened so fast underground and before he can process what happened he was already out of the gate.

These beads are for emergency use only, they can take one Xenos outside of the gate even though the gate is not cleared. It is a special item that is only available to an A-S class gates drops. Seven gave one to his brother just in case despite his usual comment that he would never enter a gate in his life. It looks like he is right to worry.

There was an earth quake before the gate opened fully, it spit out a bunch of people and they splat down to the ground, only a man wearing black with a bunny face while carrying a man with silver head was standing.

"Fuck, it smells like burnt toilet paper!" The silver head complained while half of his arms looked burned and particularly eye catching in contrast to his pale skin.

"Why are you not healing yourself?" Hyun asked with a frown while the man on his arms continued to laugh as he remembered how he made that lump of toilet paper explode along with the whole underground palace.

"I'm too tired. " That was his last words as he collapsed, his whole body was covered in a layer of sweat. It would be a lie to say that his wounds didn't hurt. He just kept it in this whole time to avoid burdening his partner.
