Atlas Triton(Part Seven)
For the next several weeks, Matt bounced between his bedroom, and the hidden one. He'd learned of another switch on the inside of the passageway to close the door after he'd entered. There were even several peepholes to make sure that no one was in the room when he wanted to come back in.
He also had a sit-down with Constantine, and told him about his 'memory loss from his fever'. The guard had figured it was something like that. The king and queen had announced that Atlas had broken a bone in his tail, and that was why no one had really seen him for the past four months.
In truth: he was preparing. The Siren Queen had already killed off her current husband, and was on her way to them now, in secret. And Atlas was ready for them...
Matt had given up on the idea of going back to his world. The first two months there, he'd spent lamenting his former life, but now he accepted that it was gone, and so was 'Matt'. Becoming Atlas was the only way to save his sanity..
