Situation on earth-22 and Villains capture Vigilante on Earth-70

On Earth-22...

On the 5th day of Vigilante's disappearance, the war between the guardians and Orange Lanterns have spread through different sectors and it also spread to sector-2814 onto earth. The earth's heroes and green lanterns fought intense battles and there was massive chaos causing life loss and property loss all over the world.

Many people prayed for Vigilante to come and save them but their prayers were unanswered since Vigilante was not on earth-22. Even if he were to be present on Earth-70 he could've stop the massive life loss by saving people but he could not have fought against the threats due to the magic agreement between him and the league.

Nearly 150 people lost their life all over the country. It was lucky for the league that the contract doesn't have a clause regarding death due to alien invasions because they would've lost the bet in just another 2 months with the way things are going. The conflict continued for 4 days when the league defeated the orange lanterns controlled by parallax and sent them to guardians for confinement.

The politicians and many guys who were against vigilante took to the media and bashed him left and right for the life loss. Many news channels, corrupt businessmen, corrupt lawyers and psychologists of criminals took this opportunity to throw shit onto vigilante who disappeared when people needed them and praised the police and the league for their work during this time.

Even people's opinion started becoming divided due to the incident when Vigilante didn't come to save them.

Vishal who was viewing the events through cosmic awareness saw vigilante name being thrashed and spoiled but laughed at it.

"*SIGH Even after you did so much for them, they don't have a drop of gratitude or courtesy towards you." said system mocking the people of earth-22.

"hahahaha." Vishal kept on laughing.

"What's got you so happy host?" asked the system.

Vishal laughed to heart's content and said "It's a good thing my name is being shitted on."

System was confused and did not understand his line of thinking as to why he is celebrating his name being smeared.

"You don't understand, right?" asked Vishal.

"Yes." said the system.

"It's the perfect chance for Vigilante to die and Mystical punisher to return." replied Vishal.

System was still confused by his words.

"Vigilante was killed by a terrorist group called "Black Hole". That will be the truth that will be spread to the people after I go back and only the league will know that vigilante is alive." said Vishal.

"Then they will find out you are Mystical punisher host." said the system.

"I don't mind revealing that Vigilante is Mystical Punisher to the league. Even with that information they can't do anything." said Vishal.

"I see. By attributing Vigilante's death to "Black Hole", the people's opinions of Vigilante will change from bad to sympathetic. Is that what are you aiming for?" asked system.

"Somewhat close. Vigilante tried protecting the people of the plane and fell to the dimensional weapon used by the terrorists." said Vishal.

"You're supposed to be an anti hero host. Why do you have to dwell too much on people's opinions?" asked system.

"I give a rat's ass about people's opinions on me. I am trying to show what would happen when the guy changed their lives suddenly disappear from the scene to make them prepare for event of Injustice." said Vishal.

"You're trying to break the people's over reliance on vigilantes, right?" asked the system.

"Yep. They need to stand their own ground against the crime and fight it themselves instead of relying too much on superhumans. I am just a catalyst that increases the speed of the process.

When Superman goes astray and starts enforcing peace all over the world it will be a pretty harsh and nasty lesson. As Mystical Punisher and as Vigilante I have been telling the same thing again and again. Don't aggravate the problems." explained Vishal.

"I'll help you this time host. I will hack all the news channels on Earth-22 and play a manipulated video of death in the aero plane." said the system.

Vishal raised his eyes and asked "What's the exchange?"

"You're sharp host." said the system

"The host has been issued a task"

Vishal checked the status window and saw the task. He was surprised to see the task.

Task: Save "Rorschach" from dying by the hands of Dr. Manhattan.

Reward: "Tachyon Cannon" skill

Time Limit: 5 months

Vishal sighed at the system task. "You look disappointed host?" asked the system.

"Am I? Even though I respect that "Rorschach" guy in watchmen, I am not in complete agreement with his black and white view." said Vishal.

"I understand host. Honestly I wouldn't have given you this task if he didn't play a role against "Liark"" said the system.

"How?" asked Vishal.

"He maybe a hero in his own world but when it comes to this world he is an anti hero because he kills." said the system.

Vishal started thinking about it. He was not completely against that guy because that crap sack world makes you question if hero's no killing rule is an answer but his stubbornness is just like Batman when it comes to Black and White view of the world. He doesn't compromise.

Even Vishal gives leeway by targeting only those who do not change themselves but Rorschach is not like him, Red Hood or Punisher.

But he is also aware that he needs allies for his fight against the upcoming catastrophe. Having "Rorschach" can be good.

After weighing the pros and cons Vishal replied "Very well".

"Good." said the system when the wall exploded and many guys wearing a black scorpion outfit and guns along with masks appeared.

"You're coming with us, Mr. Vishal." came a voice.

He saw a bald guy come from the exploded wall with a guy wearing a clown outfit and another with doctor outfit.

Vishal lifted his hands as a form of surrender and they chained him completely.

As they were taking him by aiming guns at the security and staff of the hotel, Vishal saw Carla smiling from the crowd.

Vishal gave a smirk and a nod giving her the permission to go on with the next phase of the plan.

They threw Vigilante into their truck and closed his face with a mask before taking him to an abandoned factory.

"You seem happy getting kidnapped host?" asked the system.

"I am enjoying a cinematic kidnap scene. Let them enjoy their last moments because their torture and killing will be broadcasted all over the world and the villains of this world will keep dying at an alarming rate after 2 days." said Vishal.

"The heroes might try to save them host." said system.

"Then there will be either spinal cord breaking or their stick getting broken." replied Vishal.

System did not bother him anymore as it waited for the massacre of villains to start by Vishal's hands.
