Chaos unleashed

After 3 days...

A battle erupted between the League and the society. The heroes and villains started a fight. Neither faction had the upper hand in the situation. Many residents had to evacuated and they lost their place of living due to colateral damage.

"Damn those villains. Always the cause for misery of our lives." said one of the resident running.

"Yeah, but  it would be better to blame the government who are licking the armpits of the government laced with lemon and sugar." said another guy scoffing.

"Gross, but I agree. Those businessmen want these bastard villains to cause enough chaos so that their dirty deeds don't come out." said a middle aged woman.

"What are the rebels doing, right now? They keep blaming heroes for the incompetence but when time comes they disappear" asked a guy who is in support of hero faction.

"No sign of them." said another guy.

"Well, it can't be helped. They are not exactly meant to help people like the heroes do." said a girl.

The destruction because of the battle between heroes and villains reached a wide area. Many casualties have appeared when Rebels decided to act.

"Where were they when these guys caused chaos?" said the hero faction supporter sneering.

A guy appeared and stood beside this guy and said "Yet if they were to start killing those villains first, you guys would complain again and again that they have no right to take law into their own hands and everyone should be given a chance to reform even after giving these many chances."

The hero faction supporter replied "No one has the right to do that except the law. The heroes don't kill, they just beat them up and lock them."

The anti hero faction supporter smiled and said "Then even what those heroes are doing by beating them is against the law. Yet you guys one sidedly blame the Rebels and support heroes as the symbols of hope and justice."

The war of words escalated between supporters of heroes and anti hero supporters and factions. The businessmen watching the news were ecstatic because they were able to divert the attention from from a 50 billion dollor scam that they committed as they paid the villains to cause enough commotion so that the heat will decrease and people will forget about it eventually.

On the top of a skyscraper, Vigilante and Phantasm stood on the edges of the building gazing into the distance and watching the feud between heroes and villains with anti heroes temporarily evacuating the citizens.

"The time has come." said Carla in her mask.

"Yes. Let's introduce some anarchy and everything becomes chaos for our scummy villains and businessmen." said Vishal.

Carla clicked few buttons on her hand gauntlet. Immediately every news channel started projecting the dirty transactions and videos of the businessmen all over the country.

Many incriminating videos started pouring into social media about the dirty deeds done by these businessmen. They also released the dirty deeds done by police, the judges and the politicians into the net.

The businessment enjoying their diversion before with smile had their smile disappeared. The panic and chaos set inside them. They immediately called the news channels to cut the feeds and also to remove the videos from social media. But they couldn't do anything because evidence and videos could not be removed even with the help of expert hackers.

The battle between heroes and villains which was going on came to an abrupt stop after they saw what was going on. The anti heroes who saw what was happening smirked and laughed heartily at what was happening. They knew how corrupt the businessmen were and wanted to kill them but those guys had decent image in public so they didn't have enough evidence to prove those guys are criminals before killing the bastards.

Hyper Man and Crow Man had a tense look because even though this is for the best the truth have come out but the chaos that is going to happen leaves a bad taste in their mouths.

The villains had a nasty look in their faces because they were able to escape the death punishment or life time imprisonement many times. Only through mutual cooperation they were able to survive even after committing so many unforgivable crimes.

The anti heroes couldn't kill them because the arrangement with the businessmen and government worked perfectly for them but now due to what is being brought out into the light the businessmen will sacrifice the villains to save their own skin but even that looks bleak because someone has directly hit the dragon's head instead of it's legs or hands.

"Find out who did this." said Rex Arthur to Dr Maniac.

"We must find out who did this if we were to atleast decrease the chaos that is going to occur." said Crow Man to Hyper Man.

"Let's find out who did this and bring them into our faction. It would prove helpful for our fight against villains." said Grey Hound.

All the heads of the organizations wanted to know who did it for their own motives. Rex wanted to kill the one who did it. Crow Man wanted to bring the guy out so that they can save face and Grey Hound wanted to recruit him for fight against villains.

Carla who is watching everything saw not only Gotham but people all over the country erupt into uproar because many politicians were found guilty.

They have had enough with the incompetence of the government due to businessmen in stopping crime. They took all types of weapons and marched to houses of all the corrupt people. 

Vigilante raised his hand into sky and released a spell which made the people's minds to only target those who committed crimes and leaving those who did not any crime to be unharmed.

"You're one heck of a man. Such mental discipline to make sure that innocents won't get harmed because of you." said Carla.

"I am a monster who kills monster not the innocents." replied Vishal.

Many riots broke out and military was summoned to quell the unrest  but Vishal made sure that the people get the upper hand and also made sure those who commit crime during the riots explode into pieces or get paralyzed temporarily depending on the age group.

"The heroes and villains will definitely find out it was us. We need to prepare for their attack." said Carla.

"That's for sure. Heavens favors the heroes and fate favors the villains. The anti heroes aren't protected by either of those. Of course luck plays a part but I wouldn't put too much weight into it. I am the only exception who has high luck as for others I wouldn't count on it." said Vishal.

Carla didn't understand what he was telling. In fact Vishal did not want her to understand as it is the language of the villain novels of his own earth.

"We did cover the trail far perfectly which would arouse the suspicions. That's the thing which will cause the Batman rip off and Lex Luthor rip off will catch on." said Vishal.

Carla laughed on hearing the words as she never expected someone to openly say such words of two richest guys of their own world.

"Since we are not with either of the three factions, though we are at a disadvantage in numbers but taking into account your powers, they are at a disadvantage." said Carla.

"I am Vigilante. Face slapping heroes is my part time job and killing villains is my full time job. How does the quote sound?" asked Vishal.

"Not completely cringey but "Ok"" replied Carla.

Vishal shrugged and both of them turned back to make their way to the hotel.

The first strike was devastating and Vishal has more up his sleeve that is going to cut off the rot in this world preparing it for a enormous threat in the future.
