Kakashi had an eye plucked out, Luna was still asleep and Naruto was as annoying as ever, so Sasuke went out to take some air

"Sigh... why do I need to keep this idiots with me?" He asked as he looked at the setting sun

Poor kid, didn't know that Kakashi would get all emotional about loosing his best friends eye and Luna would be all worked up because she lost in a genjutsu match

Albeit, Naruto was going to be annoying one way or the other, so he was actually doomed

"Why are you so sad kid?" Sasuke heard a familiar voice behind him, he immediately jumped forward, turning around and assuming a defensive stance

"You! you are the guy that was with Kaede before!

what are you doing here?" Sasuke still remembered all that weirdness

Naruto was almost killed but some strange guy appeared out of nowhere, saved him and took this guy away, and Kaede also went away after that

"Ahh, you see kid, I have a deal for you"

"Not interested!" Sasuke said as he threw 3 shurikens at Rimuru, who didn't dodge

Sasuke smirked, thinking he got the guy by surprise, but his smile dropped instantly as the shurikens turned into dust aa they got close to Rimuru

"W-What?"

"I am here to give you the opportunity to become stronger, do you want it?" Rimuru asked, completely ignoring Sasuke's previous and futile attack

"I have heard that before" Sasuke said, remembering the creepy snake who had bitten him, but he didn't get any powerup from it

I mean, what did he expect? to be bitten by a snake and become snake-man?

"Oh, Orochimaru, yes...

that guy is pathetic.

Don't worry, my offer is not so stupid, and it doesn't require any bites" Rimuru explained

"But I refuse!" Sasuke said, still not convinced

"I see you don't want to kill your brother anymore, huh?" Rimuru asked him

"Heh, idiot, I know someone who can beat him, and he is injured, so he won't be a problem any longer" Sasuke said, believing Kaede could kill Itachi

'What to do... what to do...' He thought about it for a while, and when Rimuru turned to go away

"Wait!" He called out

"Decided?" Rimuru asked

"With... with this power you talked about... would I be able to defeat Itachi?" He asked

"I can't be sure, kid

what I offer you, is to awaken some power in you, but I have no way to know what power

It all depends on you, at the end" Rimuru explained

Sasuke frowned hearing that, but after he thought a bit, be decided to answer

"I accept..." He was going to say something more, but Rimuru beat him to it

'If I knew his chakra signature, I would have found him by now...' He thought in annoyance
