[Sarah's POV]

Sitting atop the charred remains of the Blood Starved Beast, I looked at the round moon in the sky, deep in thought.

"Tremble, beasts, for Qansiine is here to purge this world!"

My concentration broken, I sent a frosty look at the Dremora Kynval I had summoned. He paused, before shaking his head, "You mortals are no fun, not even taking the slightest pleasure in murder. What's the point then?"

Not in the mood to argue with the immortal being, I asked, "Should I banish you back to Oblivion?"

Something I had learned in the College of Winterhold, as well as on my own later on, was that unlike in the game, summons weren't temporary. Instead, a link was created between them and their caster, which lasted until either the summoner died, or they decided to banish the creature back to Oblivion.

Qansiine clearly didn't want to miss out on the 'fun' that was the world of Bloodborne, and so he shut up and just stood there.

I couldn't help but sigh though as it wasn't time to linger. We had arrived in the world of Bloodborne as expected, but we were missing two members. One of whom is the strongest within the team, and my boyfriend.

Even though I knew how strong he was, I couldn't help but worry about Alex. Were he just to be facing a strong being, I wouldn't worry too much, but this was different. I didn't know what happened, and the unknown was the scariest.

Still, I forced myself to not think about it as I got up from the corpse of the Blood Starved Beast, and looked in the direction of the Cathedral.

Our mission in this world was to aid the Hunter, the game's protagonist, in killing the Moon Presence, the secret final boss of the game.

It definitely was a mission worthy of 20 members, since the Moon Presence was a Great One, the equivalent of an Eldritch God.

We decided to send all our newbies with the Hunter, as none of them seemed to really be of any worth, and it was the safest place to be. As for us veterans, we spread out through Yharnam to kill the different bosses of the early game, for Points and Ranked Rewards.

I got relatively lucky with the Blood Starved Beast, since it earned me a Rank C Reward and 3000 Points, although the luckiest of us was Jordan, who got Vicar Amelia.

Speaking of which, it's about time I head there. We agreed to all kill the first few bosses and then gather at the Cathedral, and make the night fall over Yharnam to continue the game's plot.

Internally, I held the foolish hope casting the night would somehow bring Alex and Mary back, but I knew this was more foolish hope than anything. But if there is one person who could figure out a way out of that problem, then it was Alexander.

Wherever he is, whatever he is doing, I'm sure he is finding a way back to the Team.

Suddenly, Jordan appeared next to me, and after giving a look at the dead Blood Starved Beast, he asked, "Ready to go?"

I nodded, and as Qansiine approached, Jordan grabbed both of our shoulders and used his Flying Thunder God technique to teleport us away.

[Alexander's POV]

Mary led me to the 'Underworld', and to my utmost disappointment, it was literally underground. Instead, the Underworld was a network of secret places hidden in plain sight.

We were currently in an interesting hotel, which had surprisingly similar rules to the Continental in John Wick as it essentially worked as a safe space within the Underworld, where no violence was allowed.

Mary's plan was to wait here, while Francis went back to Prometheus and told the Council about Mary's warning. If everything goes according to plan, they should reach out to us in a day or two to cooperate.

Personally, I would have preferred a more direct approach, as we didn't know how much time the rest of the team had, but I had to admit I couldn't do everything on my own.

Even if I probably could storm through Nodeo's headquarters, the results definitely wouldn't be satisfactory. After all, not only might they have another hidden location where they keep their secrets, but I simply might not be able to find anything by myself.

So leaving things to Prometheus and Mary for now was a good option. Moreover, it gave me some time to delve into my body, and how it was affected by my presence in the real world.

We had already established that all our powers bought from God were erased while on Earth. However, that didn't mean our experience with them had disappeared.

For example, Mary, despite having lost all the spiritual energy she had gotten from her Beta Psychic Mutation, she still remembered her experience controlling it, which carried over to now as she was capable of slightly manipulating it.

It was very minor, but it was what had allowed her to last a little longer than the rest of the team, and allow me to save her.

As for me, my case was a little more complex, but also told us more about the rules.

Through internal visualization, I found out that I had lost all of my Midi-chlorians, as well as the Super Soldier Serum normally coursing through my veins. My Cursed Energy was also nowhere to be seen.

Still, I kept some form of connection over the Force, I was several times stronger than Captain America, and my spiritual energy was just as strong.

This showed me that while the connection to the Force itself was a power granted to me by God, what I had done with it was mine. In other words, all the lifeforce I had stolen was truly mine, and I had kept it.

The same goes with Cursed Energy too, as while I lost it, the lifeforce I had converted into spiritual energy was still there.

That explained my strong body and mind, but did not explain my connection to the Force.

I think I do know now where it comes from though. My dragon part.

Although I have been calling it interacting with the Force, what I was doing was instead to communicate with the essence of the world itself, as Dragons do.

This would also explain why I had access to my Force abilities in every world we visited. After all, in Star Wars, the Force was an energy field exclusive to the Galaxy in which it took place, and I should have been unable to use the Force in other worlds.

I didn't know whether it was God modifying the ability to help me, or me subconsciously going for a similar way to use my power, but I think I started using my Midi-chlorians to manipulate the world from the get-go, and have been ever since.

That's why, now that I have partly assimilated the power of dragons from Skyrim, who are capable of interacting with the essence of the World too with their Shouts, I may have lost my Midi-chlorians, but I have still kept this ability to influence the world.

Strangely enough, as I came to this realization, I felt something change within me, and around me. Spurred by my epiphany, I felt like something had been unlocked within me as my connection to the world was instantly multiplied.

After a moment of delving into it however, I understood that my connection to it hadn't really become stronger. Instead, it had become more encompassing.

All this time, I had unconsciously been blocking myself by believing I could only use Force abilities, as that was what I had bought.

But now, thanks to the epiphany I had, my power had finally bloomed into its true form… Reality Warping.

Holding out my hand, a flame flickered into existence at the center of my palm, and my lips spread thin into a smile.

Closing my hand, the flame was smothered out of existence, not a trace it had been there left.

This breakthrough did not really translate into an immediate increase in power, but instead an increase in versatility. While I was stuck to Force Abilities before, I could now use my power for Shouts if I wanted, or any other form of Reality Warping.

But as I felt happy from this breakthrough, I suddenly felt a ripple spread through my connection to the world. It was faint, and I wouldn't normally have been able to sense it, but thanks to my recent breakthrough I did.

Stepping closer to the nearby window, I looked out into the dark sky, and after a moment my gaze locked onto the brilliant moon into the sky.

It was a full moon tonight, and it did not look any different from any other day. But as I looked at it, I felt something staring back.
