From Outer Space

Entry N°1:

Approxivatively a week ago, an unidentified object fell down from the sky, the reports where confused on the exact date and with no way to confirm the date of its arrival, we'll have to do with what we have, me and some random army man alongside his troops were sent to check it out.

Entry N°2: The object appears to look like a most common rock, apart from the purplish energy and glow it seems to have, I was unable to properly identify the type of energy but it seems to be most similar to mana, most likely an element I am unfamiliar with, perhaps a new element has been discovered?

Entry N°3: They must have sent whoever they had at the moment to come with me, this guy has no regards for experimenting and doesn't understand what is so important about this rock, it definitely came from outside of our planet! Space is an unknown territory from which monsters and other materials have been known to come from, the records are rare but very much known of.

Entry N°4: The rock has finally been fully extracted from the ground, it has a most peculiar shape, it is oval and is about twice as tall as an adult human male and about as wide as two human men as well.

Entry N°5: My researches are quite difficult, I don't want to try anything too rash but with so little knowledge of the object and the absence of intelligent life apart from myself, I find myself unable to converse with anyone to help expand my view.

Entry N°6: After being harassed for too long, I finally gave in and let that disgrace of a human that accompanies me crack the rocks open, it seems like the rock is more durable than appeared however, as he and his men have been swinging at it with pickaxes for a while now, unable to do much and some even hurting themselves, like the idiots they are.

Entry N°7: The rock has finally been cracked open or rather cracked a slight bit, the small crack suddenly unleashed a condensed amount of that strange mana, the soldiers face that caused the crack took the full brunt of the energy and his head simultaneously compressed and expanded, exploding and imploding at once, his head ressembled piece of glass that had been put through a grinder, the spectacle was gruesome and I would have almost puked if it weren't for the tasty intel it gave me, clearly, the way his head had reacted to the sudden influx of energy was a sign that it may be a certain type of mana, one that is already known.

Entry N°8: I knew it! It's the element of gravity! After further research on the now much more prominent mana, it became clear, the mana is a bit chaotic and is both pulling and pushing things, granting different level of gravity to what it enters into contact with!

Entry N°9: My job here should be done with the element identification, its up to the king to decide what he wants to do with a big stone filled with a rare element such as gravity, the army man hasn't been quite as annoying since one of his men died too, everything should be good.

"The last few pages are covered in dried blood and can't be read" spoke the man who had been reading all of this outloud.

The other man present was thinking deeply as he looked over the opened rock, broken into two pieces, most of the inside of it was filled but in the center of it, an open space could be seen.

The man then looked around and saw the mangled corpses of the ones that had been supposed to investigate this rock, they had all been ground up into a singular ball of flesh and bones, condensed enough to fit in the palm of one's hand.

"There is none of that gravity mana on this stone" spoke the man, no sign of the purple glow either.

"Clearly, something used to be inside of that egg-shaped rock" spoke the man afterward, walking around said rock, inspecting every inch of it.

"And it must be what turned these men into a meat ball, how come none of the soldiers noticed the presence of a being inside of it? Is it a stealthy creature too? Were they unable to detect it because it does no possess life energy? Perhaps it possess death energy or maybe an energy unknown to us powers it?" the man fired questions left and right, none could be answered.

The other man present seemed to listen to something as he slightly moved his head, the other man knew that he had just received a message into his mind and waited for him to explain but the ma stayed frozen and eventually fell to the ground while still standing as straight as an I.

With unexpected speed for the man's small size, he moved away as mana gathered around him, ready to crush him, he looked around quickly and only upon raising his head did he see the one that had just attempted to squeeze the life out of him.

It's body covered the sunlight for a few moment before the fell right where the short man used to be, causing a much larger area of destruction than could have been expected.

'The hell is that?' thought the man as he scrutinised the monster before him.

A tall and seemingly thin creature covered in rock from head to toe, it emanated a purple glow, most likely the same the researcher had seen on the oval rock, there were no signs of any sensory organs on any part of its rocky body.

But it clearly knew where he was exactly, he could feel its bloodlust concentrating on him, trying to make him falter but when it failed, all of the bloodlust was retracted and it seemed like the monster had no interest in the man at all.

'This thing as full control over its bloodlust, my senses don't detect any danger an yet!' thought the man as he once again moved away, the ground he used to stand upon caved in, in a perfect square.

'It's clearly after my life' the man finished his thought as he got into a fighting position, he held no weapons but from within his shadow, weapons came out, all completely dark, they floated around his body.

He launched them at the monster, it didn't seem interested in dodging as it simply walked forward without any care, moments before the weapons reached it, they suddenly made a beeline toward the ground, they were held down by a force the man couldn't fight against and he chose to dispel the four weapons and materialise new ones.

Unfortunately for him, he couldn't do that as the monster was already milimeters away from his face, he had only blinked and it was already there, its face opened up, revealing a maw filled with jagged teeth.

The man was able to avoid a lethal injury thanks to his great agility but he had lost his nose to the creature.

The fight became aa chase as the monster had suddenly become much faster and wouldn't slow down at all, forcing the short man to focus on running and dodging, he made sure to run toward a direction were no one lived but his efforts felt useless as it wasn't like he would be able to occupy this creature forever.

Unlike this beast, he was slowly losing stamina and was receiving blows after blows, each time, the blows became even worse, the monster's rocky palm slammed in the center of his chest, he was fairly certain his heart stopped for a second at the hit, he fell to the ground, rolling a few time and without even leaving him the time to see his death approaching, the monster made him into a meat ball, this time, he had failed to dodge it.

He stood no chance from the start.
