The History

I tried hard to find that bastard Travis. But he somehow escaped. I returned furious. Ethan stopped me from breaking the whole house and Amber made me calm down.

Such a sweetheart she is. Even after Travis took everything from her she had, she is ready to forgive him !

She spent almost whole day crying. She didn't even eat. Stupid Ethan didn't made her lunch. Well, he did made her stop crying !

I don't know what he told her but she stopped crying. She is even looking happy now. Which is a very good thing.

I scared her for bit. But if, she'll be scared of me; I'll be dammed for my eternity. I don't want her to be scared of me; I want her to love me, to accept me !

I prepared her favorite soup and served her while it was hot.

" Mmmm. Superb ! I've never tasted a soup like this ever, Kevin ! "

Amber said enjoying her soup.

" You are embarrassing me now ! "

I said shyly.

I haven't cooked for anyone for a while now and her praising me got me embarrassed.

" No, really. You cook so good ! "

Amber said slurping like a child.

" You liked it, that's all I want. "

I said scratching my head sheepishly.

" Well... can I ask you something ? "

Amber asked gulping her soup.

" Anything, love. "

" What does an original means ? And what is hybrid ? I mean... "

I started telling her but I guess she is more than excited and eager to know about us.

Amber asked sliding her bowl aside curious to know.

" My mother created me and Ethan... "

I again started to tell her but my darling couldn't hold her curiosity.

" Like what, with magic ? She wasn't your biological mother ? "

Amber asked shocked.

" Love, will you let me finish ? "

I asked trying so hard not to laugh at her super eagerness.

" I am sorry, I am just over excited ! "

She admitted sheepishly.

" It's alright love, I can understand.

We ARE biological sons of our mother ! She was a witch. She was immortal and she wanted her family too, to be immortal.

But we were simple human beings and mortal. So, she made us immortal ! She casted a spell and made us vampires ! "

I told her.

" You said she WAS immortal, where is she now ? Shouldn't she be with you guys ? "

Amber asked curiously.

" She is buried and bound with a spell as a punishment for creating us, by her own coven ! "

I told her what happened to her.

" Why ? Why would they do that to her ? "

Amber asked shocked.

" Because love, she created monsters ! She wanted an immortal family but she ended up creating monsters, who craved human blood for their survival !

They hunted down humans and killed them for their own survival. We weren't turned, we were created and so, we are originals !

They couldn't find any way to kill us and so, they punished our mother for creating us.

They thought if, they punished us, she'll tell them the way to kill us; but she accepted to be punished rather than, telling them how to get rid us ! "

I said.

" Wow ! "

Amber said amazed.

" Yes. That's why she is not with us. "

I said.

" But, where is she ? "

Amber asked.

" Buried somewhere safe where we couldn't find her and any way to bring her back ! "

I said.

" I am sorry. "

Amber said feeling sorry.

" Oh don't be, he isn't a big fan of her ! "

Ethan said looking at me.

" What ? Why ? "

Amber asked confused.

" That's the answer to your second question, what is a hybrid ? "

Ethan said.

" What ? "

Amber was still confused.

" She wasn't happy with our father and she... had an affair with a werewolf and I was born; half human and half werewolf ! Only I had to kill one person and the wolf gene in me would get activated !

When she casted the spell, she didn't know about me having the wolf gene ! So when, she made us vampires and I had my first kill; it turned me into a vampire and activated my wolf gene as well and I became the hybrid; a vampire and a werewolf ! "

I told her.

" Wow ! It sounds like some fairytale ! "

Amber said mesmerized.

" Not all fairytales are dreamy and perfect, love. I don't like mine ! "

I said sadly.

" So, when you turn into a wolf... "

Amber again indulged in her curiosity.

" I don't usually turn, love. It hurts ! "

I said wincing at the memory of the pain it causes whenever I turn.

" Oh my god ! "

Amber said feeling sorry.

" And... do you remember the Victor guy ? "

I asked her hesitatingly.

" Um... of course ! How could I forget the vampire who attacked me and you saved me from him ! "

Amber said shivering at the memory.

" The reason all the vampires are afraid of me is, my wolf side ! "

I said.

" What do you mean ? "

Amber asked confused.

" What I mean is, they are just the vampires and don't have the wolf gene in them. The venom of the wolf can kill any vampire ! "

I told her.

" Oh, is that so ? "

Amber said shocked at the information.

" Yes, it is ! If any vampire is bitten by any wolf, nothing in this world can save them. The only remedy to save their life is my blood ! "

I told her proudly.

" Why is that so ? "

Amber asked confused.

" Well, I don't know exactly why. But I think, because I am an original hybrid. I have both vampire and a wolf side, maybe because of it. "

I said what I thought the answer was.

" So, what you said to Victor was true ? He'd die that horrible death ? "

Amber asked feeling sad for that bastard.

" Love, to be honest, he'd be dead by now ! "

I told her the truth.

" What ? "

Amber was shocked.

" Yes. The wolf venom isn't a joke, babe ! But that's for vampires only ! "

I cleared myself.

" Does that means... you could hurt Ethan as well ? As he is an... "

Amber asked.

I got what she wanted to say. She wanted to know if it works on him, as he is an original.

" Original or not, he is a vampire ! But relax, I am never not gonna hurt him. He is my brother, afterall ! "

I said assuring her.

I replied

" Are Steve and Daniel... "

Amber thought we all are brothers.

" They ARE brothers; but not ours ! "

Ethan said.

" Yes we are ! "

Daniel said leaning against the wall.

He was there the all time but we didn't paid attention to him. And Amber was super involved and curious about history so, she didn't felt his presence. And anyway it's impossible for humans to sense our presence if, we don't want them to.

" How come you all stay together ? "

Amber asked wanting to know more.

" It's a long story love, let's keep it for another time. I have somewhere to go. Ethan ? "

I said cutting off the long story short and asked to take care of her for me till I return.
