Four Months Later

Yuno walks into the school gate holding Xavier's hand Tori walking ahead with his backpack strapped on and Snow in hand. "Bobo slow down Xavier's class is that way."

Tori turns around following Yuno and Xavier to the classroom full of other kids with their parents. He looks around in awe at the little tables with 4 chairs at each one staring at the wall drawings and paintings.

He looks at all the kids in matching uniform, red and white shirts embroided with a red and white rainbow on the back matched with red shorts.

Xavier looks around the room getting nervous his grip on Yuno's hand tightens.

She squats down brushing his messy hair and pecks his forehead, "Your dad thinks you're ready to handle school and I agree with him, are you nervous?" Xavier nods.

Yuno turns around to check on Tori before he wonders off, "It's okay to be a little scared just try to make friends and be nice to everyone."

Yuno turns around again to find Tori already sitting at a desk curiosity in his eyes, "Bobo!"

Tori stands up walking back to Yuno's side.

"Do you want to go to school too?"

Tori nods and Yuno brushes his cheek.

"If you want to go to school you have to leave Snow at home every day."

Tori stares at Yuno in disbelief and shock hugging Snow tighter his interest in staying dwindling down by the minute.

Ken walks in holding Xavier's backpack watching Yuno talk him up for his first day of school. 

Snow jumps out of Tori's hold stretching and wondering around the room.

"Hey." Xavier turns around clinging to Ken. "Have fun okay." Xavier nods giving Yuno a hug too before looking around for Snow and walking him back to Yuno.

They leave and Ken kisses Yuno who keeps turning back to check on Xavier worried he's crying his eyes out.

"Calm down Yuno he's ready for this."

She sighs, "I'm not ready for work today, did Roku call? He's the one who insisted I be here and if anything comes up he'll call me."

Ken brushes her cheek tucking loose strands of hair behind her ear, "You like it there?"

Yuno shakes her head, "I only started working there because Roku dragged me and insisted on being my partner at work after Setsuno came back. I hate the gossip the most I thought I could wait it out that people would've forgotten by now, but nope that's not the case."

She straps Tori into his seat getting in the passenger side Ken watches her every move from the inside the guilt of not telling her the truth has also been eating away at him.

He wants to tell her the truth but he can't.

Roku mentioned that every once in a while she experiences severe morning sickness and mentioned jolts erupting from her stomach even her ability doesn't work the way it should and she finds herself healing without needing water.

What Ken is grateful for is her open honesty with him he appreciates that the most.

Yuno gives Ken a confused look for the random passionate kiss especially in front of Tori he's usually against people doing anything like that in front of the boys, "What was that for?"

Ken starts the car, "Because I love you." He response driving Yuno to work and Tori to the Palace he has a busy schedule all week traveling with him like he usually does will be more work than necessary

Meaning Yuno will be alone with the kids 90% of the time and the one other person who usually babysits for him is at home with his 4 months old baby girl things would be so much easier if Ackerman was around.

He needs to attend today's final meeting at the PSB concerning the Royal council he rejected the role of Prime Minister and any other position they offered

Today he will also be sticking his nose out of the Royal side of things he has a family to protect he can't do that putting a big target on his back.

Kai walks into the classroom and it looks more like a lecture hall than an English lesson.

"Excuse me, hi."

He turns around and a blonde male with neon coloured eyes is holding up a schedule and looking around the place.

"I'm Tiyo Kuyasa and I'm lost and confused, what is this?"

Kai looks at the guys schedule and all their classes are the same. "Your schedule and in case you're wondering if you're in the wrong class I'm wondering the same thing. You must be new I never saw you at the old campus."

Tiyo nods, "I'm guessing everybody already knows each other around here."

"Pretty much. Where did you say you moved from?"

Tiyo chuckles, "I didn't say I moved from anywhere I've been living here for as long as I can remember I only came to this school because it was finally a high school and not a middle school I couldn't leave my family they need me."

Kai nods, "I understand, how about we wait outside and see what happens I doubt they'll let us sit in this large room when there's so few of us in a class."

Rou bumps into Kai leaving the classroom and takes a step back, "Watch it!" She looks up and her eyes widen when she realises who she bumped into.

"Sorry we should've remembered that people are going to use the door to enter." Kai apologizes and brushes past her with Tiyo behind him.

Rou's friend Medley leans against the wall in front of her watching Kai and Tiyo check and recheck their time table.

"How is it that the hot new guy is already in league with the school bad boys that literally show no interest in girls.

"H]ere I was thinking this is the year I'd stop rejecting Rex with his sexy jet black messy hair and soft ass handsome face with those cute soft features and lean body that he always hides behind that grey sweater and black skinny jeans with a chain

" I like his new dog tag. I saw it on his insta. His Summer Vacation looked liked it was rocking."

Rou turns to Medley, "They all got dog tags over the holidays. I think it was during that time my dad and I stayed at the Palace because I wanted to see Kai more.

"They got dog tags in memory of the day Kai's sister lost her child. They did nothing but serve at her alter for a full 2 months

"She started working at the Minoa hospital in January none of them have been the same ever since the incident. Their minds have been somewhere else entirely not to mention their sneaking off and secrecy has gotten worse.

"Even Akali and Chinami are part of the crew and I don't know how, but I'm getting myself a first class ticket in there."

Medley blushes at Rex who nods up turning his attention to the new guy.

"He looks like an Immortal to me and last I check the only other immortals around are the ones who tried to kill us in Musha Cay, I don't like him already."

Tiyo smiles at Rex offering his hand, "I like you already."

Saito takes the hanging hand and smiles, "Don't mind him nobody likes him except Kai, but he likes everybody."

Tiyo looks at Kai offering a hand shake as well.

Kai takes his hand into his smiling.

"Dude apparently they're combining all our classes from A to D this year because the venues are so big, but if it doesn't work they'll split the classes, do you realize what that means for us?" Everyone's attention turns to Chinami talking to Akali.

"They'll split our group up on purpose." Akali responds.

Chinami nods, "Exactly! So, if we don't want to be split up we have to find a way to get a class of 100 plus students to get along."

Kai and Rex stare at each other before their eyes land on Dasai from class B and his 2 henchmen behind him.

"There is no way in hell I'm sharing a classroom with that son of a bitch." Kai comments looking in their direction and Saito scratches the back of his neck.

"Well, he likes everybody except for Dasai we all hate Dasai though he's an annoying rich punk who got us in trouble last year claiming we cheated for our exams." Saito clarifies to Tiyo staring at Dasai.

"He cheats on his girlfriend." Rex turns his attention back to Tiyo.

"How would you know that?"

Tiyo shrugs his shoulders, "If I concentrate hard enough I can know people's secrets, he cheated in his mid-terms and he's jealous you guys get all the attention he has a superiority complex and got arrested last week, but his dad bailed him out."

Kai turns back to Tiyo. "We won't stoop to his level dude he's not worth spying on we don't care about his secrets he could be a dead man walking I honestly doubt  that there's anything that can surprise me at this point."

The teacher stands in front of the class and kindly asks the students to enter.

Rou sits next to Kai who looks at Rex behind her clenching his jaw he opened the seat because he was going to sit there he did not expect anyone to suddenly swoop in and take his seat.

"Hey!" Rou glares at Rex who picked her up and the chair she is sitting on at the same time moving her out of the way.

"Medley is sitting on the other side of the room run along and catch up we don't like people who fraternise with the enemy." Rex points a finger at Medley talking to Dasai smiling at her with a flirtatious smirk on his face.

The shock on Rou's face is hard to miss. She  storms off and sits next to Medley, "What the hell are you doing?"

Medley's smile falls when she turns her attention to Rou who's glaring daggers into her soul.

"You want Rex's attention yet you fraternize with the very same guy who dissed them for letting Kai's sister lose her child.

"You know how I feel about him and you know where he stands when it comes to - That," Rou gestures to Dasai with her eyes, "So I'll give you a day to make choice I won't let you mess this up for me."

Akali watches as Rou moves from the seat next to her best friend to the front of the class in the middle row.

"Are you oblivious to her feelings for you, or what?" Akali asks Kai and he turns leaning in stopping when his face is an inch away.

"You're my type now make a comparison." Akali blushes and clears her throat.

"Well, you're so not my type." Akali comments and Kai smirks tilting her chin to face him.

"I'm everybody's type sweetheart I just like your stupidity and how crazy you get over simple things like your nickname No Chest, but I like your chest looks normal to me."

Akali nudges him, "Shut up, now I'm embarrassed."

Rou glares at Akali before turning back to the front of the class taking deep breaths counting the number of braincells she has left begging them to have the mind to give her restraint.

After classes, that end early on Monday's, all third years change into the school's gym uniform and travel to Izumi's Edu-Centre that will help third years decide what they want to be after school as well as sharpen up their skills and abilities.

Akali is slammed into her locker dislocating her shoulder.

"What the hell Neon?" Rou glares at Akali glaring back she hates when people use her last name.

Saito growls at Rou completely ignoring the fact he's in the girl's locker room. He had a feeling something was wrong with Akali and rushed over.

Kai runs in shirtless with a worried look on his face, "Sai? What's going on?"

"Kali's hurt I just came out of instinct." Saito's eyes haven't left Rou's from the moment he stepped in he looks away popping Akali's shoulder in place, "You sure it's not broken?" Akali nods smiling at him.

"Yuno works next door to the centre if Izumi isn't there we'll call her." Kai mentions smiling at Rou

Saito tilts Akali's chin side to side scanning the rest of her body.

Akali blushes in embarrassment she's never been so aware of all the flaws on her body than she is right now, "Sai quit staring it's embarrassing."

He looks her in the eyes with a blank expression, "I smell blood on you but I don't see any cuts."

Akali shrieks, "Shit my periods early and I don't think I have the time to run to my room."

Kai smirks, "I guess you'll catch a flight I'll cover for you guys you'll find me by scent, cool?"

Saito nods looking away to give Akali some privacy so she can get dressed and go to her room.

"If you say anything Rou, Kai will find out what really happened here." Akali says slightly wincing when she raises her arm.

Saito walks her to her room insisting she shower first because she'll be more comfortable after a shower.

"Done."

Saito stands tying her hair in a high pony tail. "Please keep your hands and feet tucked in at all times.

"Warning sky accidents are a thing so close your eyes and for the love of all that is well in this world don't open your mouth if I'm too fast give me a signal."

Akali taps his chest, "Will you feel that?"

Saito hums a light tune pondering the thought for a second, "Doubtful."

She looks around the room grabbing Rou's helmet, "She won't mind if we say Kai will get her a new one. I'm all prepared."

Kai is the first to get off the bus followed by the illusions of Saito and Akali the real ones jump from the roof of the bus and Kai signals for the illusions to disappear.

"It's only the first day and you're already fucking up, how adorable." Setsuno comments walking past them like he saw nothing.

"What are you doing here?" Kai asks confused.

"I work here duh!" The entire class walks into the centre and Kai is more confused when he sees Ken with Tori when he should be in a meeting and not at the centre.

"This place is so much bigger than it looks." Saito comments hearing different sounds from all over the room.

"Welcome, I hope you guys don't mind that we'll be splitting you up the list has already been made based on your abilities and your career choices you'll each other get a card which will represent which department you fall under. I hope you enjoy your time with us for the next year."

Yuno walks into the centre surprising Izumi.

Tiyo's head turns before his mind can catch up. "That is your sister." Tiyo looks at Yuno.

Rex glares at him, "Eyes off, she's only got eyes for me."

Tiyo smiles at Rex again, "I seriously like you the most out of everyone." Tiyo turns back to observing Yuno.

"You shouldn't just come in here unannounced we work with students who still don't know the full extent of their power and the real-world application of their abilities things tend to …" Izumi is cut off by a large bang coming from the greenhouse.

"See what I mean? There shouldn't even be any explosions coming from that room and yet here we are."

Yuno chuckles, "Kai said Akali got hurt before leaving school I just came by to check on her."

Izumi flicks her forehead, "Kai would've asked me and you know it, are you avoiding Roku again?"

Yuno shakes her head, "Believe it or not I'm actually looking for him he ditched me during lunch and told me to not eat anything until he gets back he's got something good for me, and now I'm starving and tired so I thought a quick stretch would do me some good."

Izumi gently guides her towards the students being extra observant for any flying objects or flying students. "Miss Neon I believe you called for a doctor."

Everyone's attention turns to Akali hiding behind Saito.

Yuno takes her hand and a jolt passes on to Akali the pain from her hand seizing. "Woah, thought you need water to heal."

Yuno gives her a confused look, "I was taking you to my office I didn't do anything."

Akali rolls her hand around and around, "You sure about that? I am sure you did something."

Yuno sighs and turns around losing her balance after a single step.

"Yuno!" Kai involuntarily takes a step forward and gives Izumi a confused look as he carries Yuno away.

"She's alright I can promise you that you kids have fun." Izumi calls Roku who just came back from the new food place with the spiciest chicken he's ever tasted Yuno has been into spicy food lately.

He runs into the centre with the piping hot food, "What? What's the emergency?"

Izumi takes the food from Roku flipping him out of the room his body slamming into the wall.

Roku groans, "It's not my fault good food takes time."

Akali turns to Kai, "One thing I've noticed about you Lin's especially the males you have one hell of a temper."

Kai groans with his hands in his pockets staying quiet as usual keeping to himself.

"Izumi's going to break every bone in your body one of these days, quit over working the boss lady." Setsuno scolds Roku helping him up.

Setsuno turns to the students, "Alright, any of you losers with a Red card come with me you're the dumb shits who said they don't know what they want to do with their miserable lives after school, so I'll help you figure something out. Let's go."

Roku walks into the infirmary watching Yuno eat the spicy chicken with hot sauce on top.

Izumi's face scrunches up he had a taste and it was hot enough before there was no need for her to add extra sauce. "You must really like spicy food."

Yuno nods, "Yup, I enjoy it a lot I actually feel better now that I've eaten something I'll admit it was worth the wait it's spicy to the bone."

Izumi shakes his head surprised she's genuinely enjoying her food. He pulls Roku outside peeking into the room, "How long has this been happening? I told you to keep me updated, is the watch still moving?"

"Yes, but it's moving slower than it was before so I think eventually it'll stop we just need to endure these conditions

"A lot of people are getting suspicious she's pregnant again and that's a complete no no."

Izumi looks again, "What about her ability? Is it really gone?"

Roku nods, "She's an Immortal now remember becoming immortal bursts your egg hers hasn't yet, but from the scans conducted it's basically like a dead battery we'll see what happens when the clock stops moving."

Yuno sneezes and the building shakes she stands up and Roku bursts in giving her a hug.

"The kido's have started their training I think it's best we leave, right Izumi?"

Yuno looks around the place, "That was one of the students? Wow their timing is seriously ominous or I'm just paranoid and over reacting.

"I'm craving something sweet now you wouldn't happen to be in the mood for a road trip would you?"

Roku smiles brightly, "Anything the Boss Lady wants I will give, where too?"

"Where you bought the chicken, I'd like to try out their menu some more. Izumi come with I'm sure a break from this place would be nice."

Izumi nods offering to drive upsetting Yuno risks her finding out they're hiding something and until the clock stops moving her mood will affect the environment around her being unaware of this makes her all the more dangerous.

"I'm worried about Xavier, I wonder how my parents never knocked on the school gate every chance they got when we were at school I can't function being away from them, is that normal? I need to see a therapist don't I?"

Izumi jumps in on the conversation, "That's an excellent idea Yuno. I'll make the arrangements."

"Don't listen to him Yuno you're perfectly normal, right Izumi?"

Izumi cocks a brow, "Sure, we'll go with that."

Yuno crosses her arms, "That was seriously a bitchy answer."

Roku smiles, "Don't mind him once he has a taste of the delicious food you ate he'll be in a good mood and even apologise.

"Right Izumi?" Roku narrows his eyes at him scolding him without opening his mouth.

Izumi narrows his eyes gripping the steering wheel tighter, "Sure, that's exactly what I'll do."

Roku shakes his head, "Don't mind him he's probably stressed."

"Maybe he needs the therapy."

Roku nods in agreement, "We'll make the arrangements for him, what do you say?"

"Yeah, I know a friend of a friend. Don't worry Izumi I'll get you the best professional I know."

Izumi sighs, "How the hell did this conversation turn against me so fast? No one needs counselling so let's just drop it and everyone stop talking."

Roku and Yuno snort keeping quiet for the rest of the ride occasionally laughing at nothing in particular which makes them laugh even more. "

Kids." Izumi comments shaking his head. "We're here, let's go."

"Yes Sir."
