Zhaozhao stood at the door for a while before returning to her own home.

Upon entering, she heard Daddy Zhaozhao's voice, "Girl, you're back? Try the chicken wings Daddy made."

"Coming!" Zhaozhao immediately dropped her backpack and dashed into the kitchen.

"Ah, open wide—" Daddy Zhaozhao handed her a freshly cooked chicken wing.

Zhaozhao, while being scalded, mumbled unclearly, "Good to eat!"

After devouring the chicken wing, Zhaozhao glanced over at the living room to make sure Ms. Shu Ran had not yet returned, then she approached Daddy Zhaozhao and said, "Dad, could you find some time to go to school tomorrow? The homeroom teacher said he wants to have a chat with you."

Daddy Zhaozhao momentarily paused his cooking, turned his head to look at her and said, "Girl, what trouble have you gotten yourself into this time?"

Zhaozhao replied, "Don't worry, I didn't get into a fight, nor did I cause trouble; it's just that I accidentally... fell asleep during class!"
