"The Last Names...? Which are?" Alex interrupted her thinking and the strange girl pushed strands out of her hands and made some weird shapes on the ground.
"There are four main families in which power is held to another degree. Only true Arkians can pull out each from the family names. Unfortunately, only a few of you were ever a part of the family names. That being said..." The girl paused and took her strands back into her body.
"Dani Asterio. Lia Danafall, Ellie Danafall, Carl Eternia, and Moon Achamo. These are the four last names that can pull the true latent power out of a White Stone. However, only the Asterios can become Deities." She said.
"What the hell... we do have last names? And wait a minute, Lia and Ellie are related?" Carl asked the girl again.
"No. Having the same last name does not mean a relation in any way. However, it does mean what kind of power you can access. I'm not entirely sure what the other names can do, but I know what the Asterios can do." The girl said.
"Got it... how does this help us fight Illya?" I asked her.
"I thought it would've been obvious by now. Dani, you need to become a Deity, otherwise, Sky will be turned into a tool for war and forget everybody here. Worst case scenario, he kills everybody to strengthen himself." She said.
"What...? How the hell do I become a Deity?!" I asked the girl.
"Not sure... but it looks like we might have company soon. I see a ship there." The girl pointed out.
"A ship? Do you know if they're friendly?!" Ellios shouted out.
"Rest assured if they are not. They will not get past me." The girl said. She held out her hand and summoned a saber in a flash, then grabbed onto it while the ship got closer.
It was a weird-looking metal disc with a glass dome on top. It was huge, but the blue flames underneath it made it look tiny as it floated above us. I wasn't sure why, but I felt threatened by it as it landed closer to us.
There was a hatch on the side that burst open and out came a man with a purple cloak around his body. He had equally purple eyes and grey hair that covered his left eye, with piercings all over his ears and one on his nose.
"My name is Fudo. Where's Zeal? We need him right now, and the transporter is shut out. Have you seen him... and where is everything? Why is everything glass?" The man asked us.
We all looked around without answering him, the girl included, and I decided to speak up.
"Zeal is dead, and we don't know why this Island is glass. Maybe you know more than we do." I told him.
"Did you just say Zeal is dead? I know you people didn't kill him. And... who are you people?" Fudo asked us again.
"I don't think that's any of your business. Do you come from that promised land on Earth?" I asked him in exchange. Fudo had weird body language, so I decided to keep my guard up.
"Promised land? So, you're survivors from that damn Isle. Is it destroyed yet? Is that White Stone dead as well?" He asked us.
"If you're referring to Sky, then no, he's alive... and you're gonna help us bring him back," I told Fudo while walking toward him.
"Like hell I am, I'm not helping an Asterio. However, I will help you in any way I can that doesn't involve him." Fudo told me.
Why did he think he had a choice?
I gripped his collar and held him in place while looking deep into his shallow eye.
"I wasn't asking for help. I'm telling you that you're going to help us. And if you don't... you won't leave this Isle alive." I threatened him.
"Your threats are empty..." He said, pausing until he looked at the back of my left hand.
"N-No way! A White Stone?! Who the hell are you?!" He yelled out, jumping backward and unsheathing a weird-looking weapon.
"I am Dani Asterio. And you will help us. If you do, we won't kill you and everybody on Earth." I told him again.
"Dani, you can't be making threats like that! Earth is our only chance!" Carl yelled out to me.
"We would've never gotten here without Sky. He risked so much and lost so much of his humanity and friends just to bring us here. If we're not going with Sky, we're not going at all. I don't care what you have to say, I'm not leaving this Isle without him." I yelled back to Carl.
"She's right... Sky saved my life... even after I destroyed his... and we can't go to Earth without him. I'm not leaving either." Lia told Carl again.
"I know, I didn't think about it like that. I'll stay as well." He said. We all agreed that we weren't going to Earth if Fudo didn't help Sky.
"Why would I care that you're not going to Earth? You're not invited." Fudo told us. I couldn't help but smile.
"You probably need that weird disc thing to fly back to Earth right? So, our friend here, with the orange eyes, if she were to cut it in half, you would be stranded here and stuck with us, wouldn't you?" I asked him.
"You wouldn't... hey! Stay away from that!" Fudo yelled out to the girl. She caught on to the threat I was handing out and ran over to his ship with her saber.
Is this how Sky would handle this? I wonder if I'm doing this the right way...
"Fine! I'll help you... but tell me, is Sky Asterio really a bad guy, like the legends say about him?" Fudo asked.
"Sky saved us all from Orion. Hell no, he's a great guy. And when you help us, I'm sure he'll think of you the same. Tell us, how do we beat Illya?" I asked him again.
"Illya... As in The Deity?! That's your opponent?! Oh hell no... why are you guys in contact with her?" He asked, turning over to our group, and then over to Sky.
"Because she needs Sky. We want to free Sky, so you will help us, won't you?" The girl asked, raising her saber close to the disc.
"Yes! Geez... this better pay off. We don't want to piss her off... okay, everybody, get on. I'll take you back to Earth and you can talk this over with Ruby." Fudo said to us. "We have to leave Sky here, for now, we don't want Illya to cause damage to our city." He added.
