Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Bounty Journal

-THE REAL WORLD-

--Dani's Perspective--

"So, how do we get him out of that damn dome?" I asked the girl in front of us. I wasn't fond of any tricks right now, and certainly not ones that would slow me down.

Sky is trapped in a dome made of golden strands that I can't break through, and a girl is standing in front of me who is just as confused as the rest of us, yet she claims to know the White-Haired bitch inside of that dome.

We didn't get time to breathe after that goddamn war, and now, we're here, fighting somebody called Deity who apparently commit genocide against the human race. I hardly care about them, I only cared about my boyfriend.

I wanted him out of that dome. And I would get what I want, no matter who I have to kill for it.

This damn White Stone appeared on the back of my hand as well, leaving me feeling weaker, yet more powerful. I was dazed by what my hand felt like under this stress, yet, I knew that I had the capability of being on an equal level with Sky.

"Dani, slow down. Pushing this far this fast won't get us anything. Hey, girl, what exactly is happening to our friend? Can you tell us?" Carl asked the girl.

"Well, it's like I said. His memories have been wiped, and he's being raised in an alternate world from a baby, up until he's the same age he is now. He has a loving family, and tons of friends, all of which will be killed by another Deity hidden within the world named Providence." She explained to us.

"Sky is going to have all of his friends die? What good is that going to do? Why wouldn't Illya wipe his memories and just teach him how to be her slave?" Carl asked the girl again. I was twitching in anger.

"There is one more Deity in that world, that's why. An eternal fight between two Deities named Providence Achamo and Ali Asterio. They fight over and over again, but this time, a winner will be decided... it can only be decided by Sky." The girl stated.

"Providence Achamo... hey, Ellie, isn't that name familiar to you?" Mandi turned and looked at Ellie. Ellie was wiping blood off of everybody, but she nodded and broke concentration to look at the girl.

"Yeah... Providence Achamo was another one of those people I saw with that name, Asterio. In this book! Hey, what is this book?! What does this mean?!" Ellie said. She was more focused on getting answers about the book than helping us out. I wasn't sure how I felt about that.

Ellie handed the girl the book and she analyzed it for a second, flipping through tons of pages, then closing the book and handing it back to Ellie.

"It's a Bounty Journal. In it are names of several families and names, and the reasons they have bounties. In that book, you learned about Providence Achamo and the Asterios. Those two groups commit the worst crimes against humanity, but every Asterio has a bounty because of their lineage and true capabilities. Do you also know who is in that book?" The girl asked.

She rose her finger and pointed to the dome.

"Sky Asterio. The First Asterio." She added.

"We know nothing about our friend. Why is he such a dangerous person to everybody? Why did the Asterios commit genocide? We know nothing, we only know that he was a good person who cared for us... what is the truth of that man?" Carl asked the girl.

"You got it down pretty good. Sky Asterio is a man who cares about his family. There's a ton of history you've yet to learn, and now isn't the time because of the future and what it will do to your brains, but Sky Asterio commit genocide against the rest of the world, with a total of three billion confirmed kills, because of what they did to his family." The girl said.

I think I spoke for all of my friends when I say that chills shot up my spine.

"Sky was a victim of what the government wanted, and once he found out their intentions, he killed them all after torturing them. He put on a show for the world as he murdered every official, and got more and more hunters after him for becoming The Deity of Wrath. After Sky overthrew the government, he kept killing and kept killing for two more years before he was killed in combat while defending the last of his family. I shouldn't even have to say this, but his last remaining family member is Illya Asterio, his old wife from four hundred years ago." The girl said.

"Four hundred years ago? Shouldn't that bitch be dead from old age?" I asked the girl again. Now, a new sense of anger and hatred was in my body.

"Humans would've died, yes. She's not human. And neither are you, Dani. You are an Arkian, a full-fledged White Stone. You harbor intense power and capabilities that do not section you off into Humans." The girl revealed.

"Then Orion really was an Arkian... Hey, white-haired lady, why did Orion hate Humans so much? He went to the extent of wanting to kill all of them. Why? What did they do?" Lia finally asked the girl.

"It was explained to me that Mizu was placed in the hands of Orion's family, and Orion was paid back with the death of his wife, which triggered his hatred for them." The girl said. We were just continuously asking her questions... but we were finally learning more about our world.

"What makes a Human and an Arkian? Are there any Arkians here?" Carl asked the girl again.

"A human is somebody born to parents, with exceptions to certain locations, and an Arkian is somebody who spawned in. We've only been able to observe a Generation Three Arkian down on Earth, but other than that, the usual is a Generation Two Arkian. As for who are Arkians..." The girl paused and looked at all of us.

"Dani, Carl, Mandi, Charlie, Alex, David, Tyler, Xavier, and Moon. The Second Generation are Lia, Ellie, and Lily, and the rest of you are Humans." She said.

"I'm not a Second Generation. I'm a Third Generation Arkian." Lia said to the girl.

"Woah... so there was one of you on the Isle..." The girl muttered.

"We're all Arkians? Does that mean we can all be White Stones?" Charlie asked the girl while leaning against Alex.

"Not unless you hold one of the family names." The girl vaguely stated. I felt that there was a lot more to unpack after her comment.
