Understanding shortcomings

Vather could be seen moving through the forest as he had agreed with Arnold to keep searching for a better portal while they both improve their strength when doing so.

The best way to increase his strength would have been to defeat the beast and collect EXP but he wants too create time for comprehending his elements too as that was the second greatest way of improving his strength.

Arriving before a lair,he found himself where he was present yesterday,the wolves lair.

Seating down on the bare ground,he concentrated as he slowly revolved his blood around him. He discovered he could do it now even faster than yesterday.As time quickly passed he was able slow down the flow of blood in some part of his body while he speed up the revolving speed of others.

A spear appeared in Vather's hand as he slashed his skin,but instead of blood flowing out in large amount,the amount of blood was like that of a nail prick as Vather slowed down the flow of blood around the place making less blood erupt from it.

'Then time to start learning to shape my blood'.Since he saw what Arnold was able to do with his own blood Vather wanted to try to do the same but even after hours of trying he still couldn't make his blood harden.

That was when a thought occured to him,instead of trying to harden his blood outside his body,why not try to harden them inside his body.

Vather immediately concentrated on this new idea as he tried to harden the blood flowing in him.Slowly but surely he was able to do so as he could feel the place where he tried to harden his blood slowly became tougher acting like a second defense by making his skin tougher.

Although his blood hardening was still too weak,at least he knew it was a good start and he can concentrate on this when he has time.He slowly thought of his lightning element as a small spark of lightning emerged from him which slowly turned to a large thick bolt of lightning moving around him.

"The lightning element is known for its destructive abilities but I'm using it barbarically.Coating my body with lightning or releasing lightning increases my destructive power but it's more of a waste of potential as the lightning can be used in better ways than that.If I have the lightning ability that Mason used that was able to make him step through higher cultivation stages to fights,then that will really help as fighting a middle core formation stage beast by then will be a child's play.So for the lightning element,I lack one thing, battle arts but that won't be the same once I return back to the base."he said as the roaring lightning around him slowly quieted down while his light element flared powerfully from his body.

'The light element is known for its swiftness and sharpness.A long ranged weapon is the best for such an element,which was why I prefer my spear.But maybe a bow and arrow will be even better as it will give me the ability to attack form a distance and combined with the lightning element, I'm pretty sure there'll be almost none who will be able to easily dodge my arrows.With a spear in hand for close combat and an arrow for long ranged fights,then I won't be afraid of almost anything on the battlefield,so I'm including buying a bow and arrow when I get back to the military.Also it's been a long time since I've last practiced the Lightling manipulation manual as it takes too much time to grasp like last time but I think I've understand what origin tempering is all about, it's time to comprehend a second light in the core.But I won't do that now as I can't afford to be disturbed in this dangerous forest so I'll be doing that when I head back to base.With that, I know heading back to base is better than staying out here.But before that I haven't forget that I need to have a good snake meat before leaving so I'll have to defeat the swamp snake king and although I'm able to battle early core formation stage beast anything apart from that is an impossibility.For now I'll focus on improving my cultivation stage to the early core formation stage before challenging the beast.'Vather thought to himself as he closed his eyes while three gigantic phantom appeared behind him making all the dimensional energy around him absorb into his body,as he controlled it to increasing the size of his meridians as he tried to breakthrough to the peak meridian forging stage from the late meridian forging stage he was present currently.

Time quickly passed as he saw it was already dusk making him leave the cave as he headed back to the branches.Vather saw Arnold who was already quick asleep,as he felt his aura has even got a little stronger than it was in the morning when he saw him.

"He's already recovering back his cultivation"'vather muttered to himself as climbed up the tree, a snoring sound emerged from his mouth moment later.

it's been almost three days now as Vather has been trying to enter into the peak cultivation stage but all he felt was his meridians still expanding in size as if without ends as he noticed there are three paths present on his meridians.The three paths represents the path of his elements, which make his meridians very different from others as normally a meridian will only be able to absorb a single element into a cultivator making the presence of paths useless but he was different as he had not only two but three elements in him making it necessary for him to have three parts although that would mean inability to combine all his elements into one as each had their own path.Another disadvantages will be time as when others spend their time widening their meridian for a single element, he'll take longer than that due to his triple path meridians making him take a longer way although that'll make sure he was also three times stronger than his adversaries.For this one reason,you won't find him complaining.

A gigantic scorpion like beast appeared in front of Vather as horrifying boom sound shook the area for some time before it slowly quieted down.A gigantic scorpion like beast could be seen as it entire exoskeleton has been reduced to shattered plates as blood oozed out from it's body.

His watch beeped

Vather nodded to himself as white lights flared from his body making all the wounds in him cover up as he was back to full health in less than minute.

Origin tempering is truly a great ability to have but the body tempering technique has been reduced to a healing art by Vather as training origin tempering requires time something which was almost none existence for him as he had just too much to focus on.

Vather could feel his meridians widening but he felt they were coming to a stop at a particular threshold as he could now see the three paths of his meridians which all lead back into a place,his heart.
