chapter 8
This is a quick A/N I made the stay in Suna short to get to the main part. Sorry for any inconvenience I made.

"I will lead the way to the Kazekages office Lord Hokage" said a Sand nin as he started walking away. Sarutobi turned towards Naruto "Keep close to me" he whispered and started following the nin with Naruto tagging along.

The sand nin knocks on the door to the Kazekages office.
"Who is it?"
"Bali Lord Kazekage (A/N made up the name couldnt think of a sand nin name sry) Lord Hokage is here for the meeting."
"Come in"
The Sand nin opened the door bowed to the Kazekage and said "Come in Lord Hokage."
Sarutobi nods "Its good to see you again Lord Hokage" The Kazekage stands up "Nice to see you again Lord Hokage." He then looked at Naruto "I see you brought a kid along?"
Sarutobi nods "I brought along my godson Naruto" Kazekage smiles "Nice to meet you Naruto. Naruto nods "you to" "Bali, take Naruto around the village and show him to their room"
"Yes lord Kazekage" he turns turn around "Come on Naruto I will show you around".

"Naruto was it fun walking around the village?" asks Sarutobi as he prepares for the night. Naruto smiles "Yes, it's good to be out of the village and look around another's. But jiji I think theres something wrong with Kurama, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Madara" he then frowned.
"What do you mean Naruto?"
"They usely talk to me. Either one of them four will tell me about the village. But today they were silent."
Sarutobi then smiles "They are going to let you figure things out for yourself. While your out of the leaf village, you cant depend on them forever."
He smiles "I know jiji, this is just another step towards being independent."
Sarutobi nods "yes, now we must sleep. We have to head back tomorrow" Naruto nods and gets in bed.

"It was nice to see you again Lord Hokage."
"Same here" answered Sarutobi as he shook hands with the Kazekage.
He then turned around "Are you ready to head back Naruto?" Naruto nods.
"Jiji what did you and the Kazekage talk about?" Asked Naruto
Sarutobi smiles "A treaty between our two villages. For we are not enemies and it would also help out economy's with trade."
"Ah, hey ji-" Naruto was then cut off by a Kunai being thrown at them.
"Naruto get behind me" yelled Sarutobi as he pushed Naruto behind him. Naruto stays behind him and when Sarutobi is finished he turned towards Naruto . "See Naruto, when you are attacked you must fight to kill theres no second chances. Its kill or be killed out here." Naruto nods shakily then he say a man coming behind Jiji with the intent to kill him. Naruto jumped and attacked him.
"Awe shucks looks like I'm stuck with a kid." He laughed. Naruto steadied himself and drew his sword. He got ready to fight. 4 minutes passed they were still staring at each other. Then the man charged at Naruto "Dont resist kid I will kill you" Naruto fought him back. Soon he had the man on the ground with his sword to his throat.
"Naruto?" Asked Sarutobi as he walked up to him.
"Jiji I cant kill him" answered Naruto crying. While Naruto was looking away the man got free and tried to stab Naruto. Without knowing it Naruto stabbed him. When he realized he killed him he dropped his sword. "Jiji I just killed a person" whispered Naruto.
Sarutobi just walked to Naruto and hugged him while he cried. "Shh Naruto it was bound to happen one time or another."
Naruto cried himself to sleep in Sarutobis arms. 'I should've paid attention. Then he wouldnt have killed a person so soon. I could've started off with him killing animals then get to people. Naruto I'm sorry. Im so sorry'
Two ANBU came out of hiding "Lord Hokage what to do now?"
Sarutobi stood up with Naruto in his arms "We will continue to head back. And I will carry Naruto" they nodded.
Sarutobi then started running back to the village. ( that seem so anticlimactic to me)

Nighttime in a room all alone Naruto woke up. 'Kurama, Tobirama, Madara, Hashirama..is anyone there' all he got was silence. He then started crying 'I killed a person. A human being without even thinking twice. I'm a murderer. A killer.' He curled his knees to his chest and started rocking himself back and forth.
K- .....Kit, I'm sorry
H,T,M- we are also
T- I told him not to let you kill anyone. He wasnt gonna but, I guess it couldn't be helped. Kami wanted it sooner than later.
'Why wasnt you guys there? To help?'
T- remember what Hiruzen told you
'You guys want me to handle things myself'
M- yes boy. But we didnt expect this to happen.
'It hurts to know you killed someone. I didnt even give him a second chance before he died. I killed.
K-on instinct.
H- killed or be killed remember that Naruto.
M- they are right. He wouldn't have gave you a second chance.
'True'
T- What are you going to do Naruto?
M- wait what do you mean Tobirama?
K- indeed.
T- let's give Naruto a choice on what he wants to do. We want him to lead his own life not us leading it.
Naruto slowly got out of bed. And walked towards the window opening it up.
'Run. Run away. I'm weak, I cant stand killing someone. Being here will make me weak cause they will always baby me. I need to get over this on my own. So I will run away to become stronger so I wont be like this never again.'
And with this Naruto ran away out of the village. But what he didn't notice was that Sarutobi saw him leave...

"This is getting fun main events are about to start" said Kami cheering.
"Naruto will become stronger I can tell" replied Shinigami.
"He will become stronger than me and Kushina" answered Minato as he watched his son run away.
"Agreed, but how I wish I was there to at least comfort him" cried Kushina hugging Minato.
