Josh's POV

I drove Justen to our special spot and when we got there, he immediately jumped out of the truck with his pillow and blanket. I smiled at him because his actions reminded me of Michael.

"Are you coming?" Justen asked. "Or are you going to continue to check me out?"

I smirked. "I don't know, you're looking pretty fine," I said, opening my door only to be hit with a pillow.

"Get your ass over here," Justen said with a smirk.

I smirked back, grabbed my own pillow and blanket along with Justen's, and walked over to him.

As soon as I was within reach, Justen grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me into a deep kiss.

"I love you," Justen whispered once he released.

"I love you too," I said before pecking Justen's lips once more.

Justen smiled and followed me over to our tree. I set my stuff down before laying on the ground,

"Is it cold?" Justen asked.

"It would be warmer if you got your ass down here and cuddled with me," I said with a light chuckle.

"Alright," Justen said, putting his blanket down and laying next to me.

I wrapped my arm around Justen and pulled him closer to me until his head was on my chest. Without a word, Justen snuggled closer into my chest and I could feel his breathing slow down.

"Are you going to sleep?" I asked.

I heard a "hmm?" from Justen before he lightly started to snore.

I smiled at Justen and lightly kissed the top of his head. I really loved Justen and there was no way out there that would help me explain it to him. I couldn't imagine life without Justen and his handsome self. I seriously loved him.

Hearing Justen's snores though, made my eyelids grow heavy and sleep start to overcome me. I let sleep take me, knowing that if I didn't get any sleep I would be exhausted in the morning.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning, I woke up and Justen wasn't there. I frantically got up and started looking around.
"He has to be around here somewhere," I thought as I made my way to my truck.
I saw someone move inside and opened the driver's side door.
"Hey!" Justen cried. "I'm getting dressed in here!"
"Sorry!" I said, closing the door.
I guess that explains where Justen went. A few moments later, Justen got out of the truck and walked over to me.
"Are you done, princess?" I asked.
"Ha ha ha," Justen said sarcastically. "You're soo funny."
"I seem to think so," I said.
Justen rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I'm ready to go, but I have to grab my pillow and blanket first," he said, seeing that I was holding onto mine.
"Okay," I said as Justen left to get his things.
I got into my truck and started it up. While waiting for Justen though, I found a piece of paper sticking out from his school bag. Knowing that he wouldn't be happy about me looking at it, I grabbed it and unfolded the paper. The writing was hard to read but finally, I made some of the words out. However, the words that really set me off were underlined and circled. "Josh's dad". I stared at the paper and when Justen opened the passenger door, it startled me and I dropped the paper.
"What were you reading?" Justen asked.
"I, uh, I found a paper sticking out of your bag," I said.
"So you decided to read it?" Justen asked, clearly pissed.
"I'm sorry," I said, grabbing the paper and giving it back to him.
Justen snatched the paper out of my hand and shoved it into his backpack.
"I am sorry for getting into your things, I promise it won't happen again," I said, putting the truck into drive.
Justen sighed. "It's okay, I'm just sorry that I snapped at you. I must not have gotten enough sleep."
"Okay," I said, taking his excuse.
"Just know that I love you, okay?" Justen said.
"I know," I said. "And I love you too."
Justen nodded and the rest of the drive to the school stayed silent.
My mind, however, was all over the place.
"What was on that paper that was so important?" "Why did Justen feel the need to hide it from me?" "What does that paper have to do with my dad?" "What is going on?"
