Part 49

Josh's POV

Bridget had came with our drinks and once Justen and I had them, we ordered our food.

"Will that be all?" Bridget asked.

"Yup," Justen said, handing Bridget his menu.

"Yes, thank you," I said as I handed Bridget my menu.

"Alright, your food will be right out," Bridget said. "And by right out I mean in like five to ten minutes because the people here cook slow."

I laughed. "Is it that bad?" I asked.

"Oh it's awful," Bridget said.

"How do the people here manage?" Justen asked with a smile.

"That's the secret they tell you when you start working here," Bridget smirked.

The three of us laughed until Bridget got yelled at.

"Alright, I'm going to give them your order now," Bridget said, walking away.

"Bridget's great, isn't she?" I asked Justen.

"She's pretty funny too," Justen said.

"I wish I was that funny," I said.

"Oh, you are ten times funnier than Bridget," Justen said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Why do you think I almost always laugh at you?" Justen asked.

"Because I'm an idiot," I said.

"If you're an idiot then I'm a fool for you," Justen said making me laugh.

"That's a good one," I said.

"All I said was that I was a fool," Justen said.

"You sure are," I said.

"Anyway, what do we talk about when we're on a date?" Justen asked.

"Normal stupid stuff," I said.

"I know we already know each other, but do you wanna play 20 questions?" Justen asked.

"Sure," I said. "You can go first because you asked about the game."

Justen stuck his tongue out at me. "What's your middle name?" he asked.

"Eric," I answered.

"Mine's Michael," Justen said. "Spelt the same way as your brother's name."

"Nice," I said. "What's your favorite food?"

"That's a good question," Justen said. "Normally I don't eat much anyway so everything is good to me. I'd have to say my favorite food is pizza."

"How plain," I said.

"What's your favorite food then?" Justen asked as Bridget walked up to the table with our food.

"Here's your guys' food," Bridget said, placing our food in front of us.

"This," I said, pointing at my food.

"Alfredo?" Justen asked.

"Noodles are my favorite," I said. "Beats everything."

"Everything, huh?" Bridget said, placing a hand on her hip.

"Okay, maybe not everything, but they are really good," I said.

"Whatever, enjoy your food you two," Bridget said walking away from our table.

"So noodles are the best?" Justen asked.

"Yup," I said, taking a scoop of noodles and placing them into my mouth.

"Alright," Justen said, beginning to eat his food. "But, just to let you know, pizza is not a plain food."

I looked at my boyfriend who was talking with his mouth full of food. Shaking my head, I swallowed the food in my mouth before speaking.

"Pizza is such a plain food," I said. "Everyone likes pizza and that's what makes it plain."

"But you can put different toppings on it," Justen said, his mouth still full.

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, when you're done chewing your food, we can talk like people," I said.

"What do you mean?" Justen asked, sticking another forkful of food into his mouth.

"You are ridiculous," I said, shaking my head and rolling my eyes.

"But you love me, right?" Justen asked.

"Yeah, I still love you," I smiled.

"Yay!" Justen said.

"What a dork," I said, quiet enough so Justen couldn't hear.
