Part 26

Josh's POV

Justen and I were laying in his bed until I heard footsteps approach the room. I looked over at Justen and the look on his face told me that he heard them too. I watched as Justen's dad appeared in the open doorway.

"What the fuck?!" Justen's dad asked.

"Shit," Justen said.

"What the fuck is going on here? And who the hell are you?!" Justen's dad asked, pointing at me.

"Nothing is going on here and he was Just about to leave," Justen said.

"Yeah, get this little asshole out of my fucking house," Justen's dad said.

"Get out of my room first," Justen said.

Justen's dad huffed before walking out of Justen's room.

"I am so sorry about that," Justen said, turning to face me.

"To be absolutely honest, that scared the shit out of me," I said.

Justen chuckled.

"But I don't understand why you couldn't have told him who I am," I said.

"If he knew I liked you, he'd make my life more of a living hell," Justen said. "And if he knew you and I are dating, that'd be a whole other story."

"Alright," I said, climbing out of Justen's bed with a sheet.

"Why are you covering yourself, you showed no shame last night," Justen said, making me blush.

"I'm only covering myself until I shut the door to your room," I said.

"Fine," Justen said, sounding like a little kid.

I shut the door to Justen's room and dropped the sheet where I stood earning a whistle from Justen.

"Looking mighty fine there," he said.

"Only for you," I said, winking at him before I started picking up my clothes.

Justen watched as I got dressed before he reluctantly got out of his bed and got himself dressed.

"I don't want you to go," Justen said, once he and I were fully dressed.

"You heard your dad though," Josh said. "Plus you have no idea how mad my parents are going to be. Not to mention I left Michael at the house all alone again."

"Alright," Justen said. "Let me walk you out to your truck."

"So you can kiss me goodbye?" I asked.

"So I can get my bike," Justen said, making my shoulders drop. "And then kiss you goodbye."

Justen and I walked out of his room and I followed him through his house, which smelled horribly of weed and other drugs. We walked outside and I was blessed by fresh air.

"The outdoors smells so much better than that damn house," Justen said.

I simply looked at him.

"You don't have to say anything about how bad the house smells, I know," Justen said.

"Yeah," I said.

Justen nodded, walked over to my truck, and grabbed his bike out of the back. He walked back towards his house, put the bike down, and walked back over to me.

"Goodbye," I said.

"You sounded too sad," Justen said. "It's more of a see you later."

I smiled at him. "Alright, I'll see you later," I said.

"You're forgetting something," Justen said.

"What?" I asked, not knowing what in the world he was talking about.

Justen rolled his eyes before kissing me.

"That's what you were forgetting," Justen said.

"Well, I won't forget it again. But I have to go," I said.

Justen kissed me again and, when we parted, winked at me. "See you later," he said.

My heart was pounding in my chest. "See you later," I said, getting into my truck.

I started the truck and backed out of the driveway. Before I fully left the driveway, I watched Justen enter his house again. Once I saw that he was inside, I sighed and left the driveway to drive home.
