Chapter 2

Ferlga pov

"Now then what's the name of this little warrior?" I thought as I looked through the basket the kid came with and saw a sheet of paper containing the name. This must be the work of that little lady, Hoscus would not undertake such minor activities as writing. Hmm! His name is Zentar D Ra, I'll just call him Ra. It's a fairly powerful name, now let's make a schedule before starting his training. But he does seem weak, falling asleep every now and then. Then again how should I make sure that a child as young as him will develop properly. That may be difficult, I guess I should leave this cave and head back to the village and after he grows a bit more I will bring him back here to start his training.

General pov

You could see a warrior dressed in sack clothes with his helmet intact, one arm holding a basket in which a baby is sleeping peacefully and in the other carrying a giant axe whose metallic sheen glistened as the morning sun's rays striked against its blade.

Ferlga made his way from the cave, descending the hills leaving behind a scenery of multiple gigantic volcanoes which by the greatest of luck have been dormant for the past three hundred years and will hopefully remain to be so. He was moving at his own pace remembering his days adventuring with Hoscus across the grandline, when his thoughts were broken by the swaying of the basket. He tried to smile at little Ra but all he was met with a hardened gaze which for some reason unknown to him he had interpreted as a sign of hunger. Thus he decided to shorten the journey in order to ensure the child got fed before he started crying. His height increased from the inital 9 feet to 20 feet and after adjusting the child's position in the basket, he started jumping over the hills covering a distance of approximately three hundred metres with each jump but still maintaining a low velocity while in the air so as to ensure the child's safety.

After covering a total distance of about forty seven kilometres, he came to a stop infront of a giant gate of approximately ten metres and stood infront of it as he shrank. What he did not notice was the scared and shocked facial expression adornig the face of the child he was supposed to protect. He then decided to make his presence known as he had always due to the lack of guards atop the watch tower to welcome him back. He took a deep breath and unleashed the loudest laugh he could muster, "RYARARARARA!!!" That was all it took for the gate to open because after a few minutes right there in front of him was his lovely wife who with her bed hair in all it's glory donning her night gown with only a jacket protecting her endowed figure from the early morning cold stood. What Ferlga was failing to notice once more was the little droplets of tears gathering at the edges of little Ra's eyes that may or may not have been caused by his loudness. And to complete his welcome home he was met with a fist across his face as the baby was snatched from his hold, and how best to go out other than laughing once more as he crashed against the trees beside the road.

Guard pov

Damn, I think lady Sonell might kill me. How could it be that only the time that I had gone to relieve myself would that crazy gorilla come back from the woods and start laughing loudly early in the morning waking up the whole village. Sigh! But it is still weird that he didn't come back with any deer this time, all I could see was a basket but I couldn't perceive what was inside. Anyway I'll probably come to know before the week ends considering the ruckus that the gorilla makes with lady Sonell while they are together. Shit lady Sonell looked at me, could she be able to hear my thoughts? Nope, impossible but just to be safe I should look at the mountains beyond the horizon! Yep, that's the best choice. It seems they are going in, the damn gorilla ruined the trees and now he is entering the village as though it is of no concern to him. Better not forget that those two can be considered monsters in terms of strength.I mean lady Sonell literally pushed those gates open instead of turning the pulley as normal people would. I wonder what kind of soup I'll be having for lunch today*some drool falling from the mouth* *gets stared at by Sonell* * wipes drool and stands guard once more*.

Sonell pov

I was having a peaceful nap when that damn laugh that I both love and hate brought me out of slumber land. What the hell are those guards doing? I thought I told them to open those gates when they see that stupid husband of mine approaching instead of waiting for him to reach the gate. I picked the jacket closest to my bed and made my way to the gate and Lord help me I will have payback for cutting my sleep short. I made my way through the village and I couldn't help but notice that I wasn't the only one who was woken up and that brought some form of joy as I wasn't the only person to be forced out of bed. I pushed open the gates which were freaking heavy to meet my idiot who was beaming at me stupidly. I scrutinized his body searching for any injury and when I didn't find any, I turned my attention to the basket that he was carrying only to find a baby on the verge of tears staring at him.

I rushed at him, knocked the smile out of his face as I took the baby. The baby noticed me looking at him and as he stared back, my suspicions were confirmed, he is probably scared, confused and hungry. I should probably deal with the hunger first as my husband would probably not know how to feed a baby. Before that, I turned and gave the guard who couldn't even follow my instructions properly the stink eye. He noticably tensed and as I was satisfied I started making my way back home while my husband laughed and followed after me. I wasn't that far from the guards' post, when I perceived some rude thoughts approaching my way. I looked back and the guard stood attention staring straight ahead. I heard some wimpering from the child which in turn forced me to rush home to satisfy the little one's hunger.
