A hidden agenda?

"Which aspect of him exposes that fact if I may ask?" Sergeant Quaye asked, clearly agitated. He perked up his ears, ready to hear the assassins's confirmation.

From the very first time he watched the video which displayed the scenes of Yebou fighting a group of gangsters, the first thought that came to his mind was whether the kid was the son or grandson of one of those Swat Officers, or even perhaps a Swat officer himself.

However, he couldn't validate his conjecture because he didn't have enough evidence to back it up. But now, there was another person who shared the same view as him, hence his agitation.

"Hey, Mister Officer, I don't remember asking to meet you. I clearly stated that I'd only speak before him. I don't have any answers for you. Mr. Joe said pointing to Yebou. Or do you perhaps have a hidden agenda?" He questioned while staring intently at Sergeant Quaye.

"Bang! What nonsense are you saying? What agenda? Sergeant thundered furiously as he hit hard on the table before him.

"I want my lawyer." Mr. Joe said as he laid back in his chair.

_Bastard!_ Sergeant Quaye thought. He knew Mr. Joe was clearly trying to cause a rift between him and Yebou.

"Mr. Bullet I will leave him to you," Sergeant said to Yebou as he stomped out of the room. However, he was just putting on airs because the moment he walked out of the door, he immediately went to the observation room to listen to the conversation.

"Okay." Yebou nodded. He didn't take the exchange between the two seriously because he knew Sergeant Quaye's personality clearly. He wouldn't want to miss such a nice conversation.

"Right let's get to business. What did you mean when you spoke of a Swat Officer? Yebou wasted no time as he initiated the conversation.

"From the short exchange I had with you yesterday night, I realized you were no ordinary person. Being a Swat Officer was the only thing I could think of." Mr. Joe replied honestly.

"Who are these Swat Officers that you speak of and what do they do? Yebou asked as he became confused. Even after going through his memories, he couldn't recognize that unfamiliar name.

This was the first time he heard the name, Swat Officers. He had no idea who they were or what their role was.

" You don't know who they are?" Mr. Joe was momentarily stunned when he heard that question from Yebou.

_Is he not part of the Swat force?_ He thought doubtful.

_No. If that is the case, then he definitely has one of his elders in the Swat force._ That was the only explanation for his ability.

Upon second thought he assured himself. Coming to terms with himself, he immediately explained what he knew without withholding the tiny bit of information.

"Swat Officers are specially skilled groups of people with varying abilities that are trained by the government. They are the preservation of property and life during critical and high-risk operations.

They are only called to respond for service when there is high risk and arrest warrants, incidents involving barricaded suspects, hostage rescuers, or active shooters, crowd control; and other situations requiring resources beyond the capacity of the patrol division."
