Ch13-Natsuki decision.

Natsuki POV

'Should I wear this mask?', Natsuki has been looking at the stone mask for an hour.

'DIO...he abandoned his future, his humanity, his life to free me. He massacred people to pursue power to free me. He did everything to free me. And I? What did I do to repay him? Nothing...', in her head an angel Natsuki and devil Natsuki appeared.

"Natsuki, you should not associate with a murderer like him! As a jailkeeper, you have to keep him imprisoned forever!", angel Natsuki said.

"Don't listen to her Natsuki, you should wear the mask and join him. You witness the power of his beast vessel right? It's so powerful that only the progenitor could have a chance to kill him.", devil Natsuki said.

"Don't listen to her! We're not power-hungry. Why do we have to pursue more power?"

"Tsk tsk. You're too naive. After DIO came back from the void dimension we are free from the contract that we were forced upon. We need more power if we want to be free."

"Free? Why should we be free? We should do as the government wants us to do. For peace, we have to sacrifice our freedom."

"Why should we sacrifice? Did you forget what they do to us!? They use us as a tool for maintaining peace! Peace needs everyone's corporation, it can't be maintained by one man or a group of people. A peace that needs a sacrifice didn't have worth to maintain."

"You!"

"Enough!", Natsuki shouted. Her head was clear once again.

"I have decided, I won't wear it.", Natsuki said.

"Ack!", suddenly after she spoke her head hurt. She slowly fall on her chair and went to slumber.

Natsuki dream. She dreams of a happy family life with DIO. They have 4 kids, and a large house near the sea. DIO is a history professor at the university, she is an English teacher at the high school. In her dream, she can only watch the event go by but there is not a moment that she was not happy. The day comes to an end, she gets the kids to bed and ready to sleep but she notices that DIO didn't move.

"Hubby, are you ok?", she asked. He didn't speak any words nor move any centimeter after the kids go to bed.

"I'm alright, Natsuki. You should go to sleep. I will sit here for a while.", DIO gives her a reassuring smile before looking at the door.

She nodded and went upstairs before she stopped on her track and come down to see DIO ready to leave.

"Are you leaving, DIO?", Natsuki asked.

DIO movement stopped. he turned his head back to Natsuki.

"Yes. I have to go."

"Why? Why do you have to go, DIO? Is it because we are not real?", Natsuki asked with tears.

She doesn't know why but her heart aches so much.

"That's not the reason, Natsuki. It's because I want to make humans ascension to heaven."

'Human...heaven...what are you talking about?'

"And what after that, DIO? Do you just let everyone rot in heaven forever?"

"Of course not. After they have experienced true happiness, they will achieve Nirvana, the state of no suffering, desire, or sense of self. They will be released from the effects of karma and the cycle of death and rebirth. Their soul will be released from the cycle of suffering and attain true happiness. That's my true path to attain eternal happiness."

"Is that so? Then I will support you from here with our kids.", Natsuki said while crying with a smile.

"Thank you, Natsuki. Truly thank you.", DIO opened the door and walked out.

After he walked out, everything disappeared. House, kids, cars, sky, everything became light and disappeared leaving only Natsuki alone in the void.

"Shine.", a ray of light appeared in front of Natsuki. It appeared to be another Natsuki.

"You...who are you?", Natsuki asked.

"I'm an illusion. I'm a fake that projected his desires. Please, the real me. Help him. I'm just an illusion, a fake! I can't help him but you, you are real. You can save him from self-destruction. You heard his goal, right? It was mixed with kindness and cruelty but it was not his truest desire. All he wants is to be happy. In his entire life, being with you is the most happiest for him and it was for you too, right? You can save him! Please, save him before it's too late.", the fake Natsuki dogeza.

(Dogeza is an element of traditional Japanese etiquette which involves kneeling directly on the ground and bowing to prostrate oneself while touching one's head to the floor. It is used to show deference to a person of higher status, as a deep apology or to express the desire for a favor from said person.)

"You don't have to say anything more. I understand what you feel and I wish for the same. I will do it. I will save DIO. I will become his Eve and make him happy.", Natsuki said with conviction.

"I'm glad that we feel the same. Goodbye.", the fake Natsuki smiled and disappeared.

Natsuki woke up from her slumber. Tears fall from her eyes.

"Goodbye.", Natsuki muttered and wipe her tears.

She stared at the stone mask and decided to wear it. She summoned a sword and cut herself. The blood gushing out of her hand contacted the stone mask.

The stone mask extended needle-like legs. It pierces her skull and grows a rainbow light.

"ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ", the light died out and the stone mask fell to the ground.

"Ah...I'm thirsty.", Natsuki looked around trying to fulfill her stomach. She remembered that in her prison, prisoners were put in a dream-like state.

"Lick.", She licks her lips and used her chains to pull prisoners to her.

"Thank you for the food.", Natsuki grab their throat and drain their blood dried.
