[Mandalore Sector, Mandalore System, Concordia]
Sitting in a chair at a table in a conference room, inside of clan Vizsla's compound, I sat silently.
Listening as Jango sat at the head of the table and took in reports from numerous Mandalorian clan heads and warriors about the status of the Mandalore Sector, and the Mandalorian people as a whole.
A month has passed since Jango killed Pre Viszla, claimed the darksaber as his own, and retook his rightful position as Mand'alor among the Mandalorian people.
Since then several things have happened.
First off, Jango put out a call for the Mandalorians spread out across the galaxy to return home to help to begin to rebuild the Mandalore Sector.
A call they all answered.
Now there are a lot more Mandalorians in the Mandalore sector than there were before.
A lot.
When I heard the number of Mandalorians who were out in the larger galaxy I was shocked. For it was not a number I expected to hear. Yet I quickly came to accept it.
For the Mandalorians who've returned to the Mandalore sector have many different skills that can help the Mandalorian people as a whole grow.
Mechanics, slicers, spies, assassins, cooks, etc...
The varying skills of those beings will definitely be put to good use by Jango. I just know it.
Second, 'Death Watch' is officially dead and buried.
After ending Pre Viszla Jango, quickly re-grouped his forces and made a push to eliminate any and all 'Death Watch' members who didn't lay down their harms. Me and my friends assisting him in cleaning up the Mandalorian terrorist organization.
No matter what duchess Satine and the New Mandalorian government said.
Speaking of them, that is the third thing that has changed.
The New Mandalorian government and the duchess have become the minority amongst the Mandalorians again, and have lost much of their political power.
For now, nearly all Mandalorians now want to follow the path of the 'True Mandalorian' that Jango had put forth once again.
To say Satine has not been happy with this change would be an understatement.
But there's not really anything she can do about it, for it is what the people have decided they want.
Though Jango isn't going to be a bastard and simply freeze the duchess and New Mandalorians out of the dealings of their people. Because he wants the Mandalorians truly united and working towards the same goals.
Which is why Jango arranged a meeting with duchess Satine after everything settled down.
A meeting which is going to take place today.
Which is a meeting I will be attending.
For in thanks for helping him go back to the man he used to be, saving his sister Arla, and helping him permanently end 'Death Watch', Jango saw fit to make me a member of clan Fett.
So now I am a Mandalorian.
Yet another childhood dream come true.
Oh and as to why Jango is holding meetings in the clan compound, whose members were the leader of 'Death Watch' it's because they offered. For it turns out a majority of clan Vizsla didn't agree with Tor and Pre's views on the direction the Mandalorian people should take.
It was only a minority of the members in the clan who did.
But those minority members held significant power in the clan.
Though with the death of Pre Vizsla, the power of that minority disappeared over night, and now the majority rules clan Vizsla. The majority within the clan now followers of the ways of the 'True Mandalorian'.
Especially the new clan head.
Anyway.
Soon the meeting with the Mandalorian clan heads and warriors ended.
Jango having learned a lot about the current statuses of each clan, and the Mandalorian people in general.
Once this happened everyone left the room.
Save for me, Jango, and four other people.
The first two being Jango's now permanent lieutenants, Kal Skirata and Walon Vau.
While the other two are the new leader of the Mandalorian Protectors and their second in command.
The former being Bo-Katan Kryze, while the latter is Ursa Wren.

Yeah.
These two ladies were actually some of the first to betray 'Death Watch' when given a better option. Pledging loyalty to Jango soon afterwards.
Bo-Katan wanting to do more for Jango that simply protect his life.
If you get my meaning.
The feelings I've been sensing from her for Jango are "intense" to put it mildly. Makes me think Bo-Katan has some sort of power fetish or something.
Well that's Jango's problem and not mine.
Anyway.
Only 20 minutes passed before we heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." Jango said.
The moment after he did so the door was opened by one of the new Mandalorian Protectors, wearing Mandalorian armor proudly.
"Mand'alor the duchess and her delegation have arrived." The protector spoke.
"I see. Send them in." Jango said.
"Yes." The protector replied.
A moment after they did they stepped away from the door and then duchess Satine and her delegation entered.
Satine's gaze immediately going to Bo-Katan, and putting a shocked expression on her face.
Me sensing complicated emotions coming from both sisters.
Well they've been estranged for years, and now meet like this on opposite sides of the table. To call it awkward would be an understatement. But I'm sure they'll work things out.
The sisters not saying a word to each other Satine took her seat, her delegation following her lead.
Just as they did so the protector outside closed the door shut.
The air in the more become more tense and awkward than it already was.
I really hope it doesn't get any worse.
"So, Mand'alor a pleasure to finally meet you face to face." Satine spoke.
"The same to you, duchess Satine." Jango replied. "The work you and the New Mandalorians did in leading and rebuilding our people after the civil war ended years ago is truly admirable. It's also why I hope you will continue your work in helping our people rebuild, and eventually prosper like never before."
"I want that too Mand'alor but first I need assurances on certain matters." Satine spoke.
"Such as?" Jango questioned.
"I need your word you will never lead our people down the same direction they took over and over again in the past. I need your word, that you will not have our people become raiders, conquerors, and warmonger's under your rule. For if you cannot guarantee me that when we have nothing further to discuss." Satine spoke.
Me knowing she was absolutely serious.
Even without sensing her emotions through the Force.
"Duchess Satine, I swear on my clan name, and my title as Mand'alor I will never lead our people down such paths ever again." Jango seriously spoke.
Looking Satine directly in the eyes as he did.
"I see." Satine mused. "Thank you, Mand'alor."
"It is no problem duchess." Jango replied. "Now then, shall we get down to business?"
"Let us." Satine spoke.
"Good." Jango said. "So the first order of business, I would like you to become our peoples full-time ambassador."
"Me?" Satine questioned.
"Yes, you." Jango replied. "You have a good head on your shoulders, are politically savvy, and will do what's best for our people no matter what. That is why I would like you to take up the position as ambassador for the Mandalore Sector and the Mandalorian people." He explained. "What do you say?"
"It is a nice offer, but I will need to discuss this with my people in detail for making a decision regarding the matter." Satine replied.
Obi-Wan included among the people she needs to discuss the matter with.
Since although she was very, very, very, pissed off at him for his involvement with the 'Death Watch' extermination operation, in this past month she's forgiven him.
Told me so himself.
He's also glowing again, so I know she's letting him back into her bed.
"I understand." Jango replied. "Alright next order of business. In addition to rebuilding the police force and the royal guard, we need to recommission the Mandalorian military." He spoke firmly. "For I will not allow anyone to people Mandalore or its people."
"Yes." Satine replied. "I understand." She spoke.
"Do you, duchess?" Jango asked. "Do you really?"
"I do." Satine retorted. "This latest incident has, shall we say opened my eyes to certain realities." She admitted.
Me singing to the heavens on the inside when I heard Satine say those words.
Looks like the 'Death Watch' attack finally got rid of her stubborn pacifism a little.
"I see." Jango mused. "Good." He spoke ."Now then, the last important order of business. I am going to withdraw the Mandalore Sector as a member state from the Galactic Republic."
"What, why?!" Satine shouted.
Her delegation mirroring her shock.
"Because the Republic does nothing for our people. Time and time again they have only looked at us with only fear and paranoia in their eyes. The Dral'Han should be proof enough of my claims." Jango passionately spoke.
His point being entirely correct.
The Mandalorian Excision, or as it is called in the Mandalorian tongue the Dral'Han. An event that took place over 700 years ago.
Back then the Mandalorians were experiencing a large growth in technological prowess and military power, and due to their warriors ways told the Republic to go screw themselves when they asked the Mandalorians of that time to join them. So not liking this the Republic, and Jedi of that time, having no concrete information and nothing but fears to go on, thinking the Mandalorians would try to attack them like they did so many times in the past, decided to launch a pre-emptive strike against Mandalorian space. A strike which devastated much of the Mandalore sector. Then to add insult to injury after destroying the prosperity of the Mandalorians of that time the Republic decided to occupy Mandalorian space and install an provisional government.
Making the Mandalorian Excision in my humble opinion, one of the darkest, most disgusting, and arrogant events in the history of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi.
"I hear you Mand'alor but if this is not handled correctly we might end up with another Dral'Han." Almec spoke.
The man being exactly right.
That is certainly something the current Galactic Republic would do.
"I hear your words Almec, and I have already come up with a solution to that problem." Jango spoke. He then looked at me. "A solution I will let my friend and clanmate, Van Sunrdier explained."
"Thank you Jango." I replied. I then looked toward Satine and the others. "Greetings again duchess Satine."
"The same to you young Sunrider." Satine replied. "So tell me, what can a boy like you do to protect us from the Galactic Republic?"
"It is not me, but the group I represent. A new government my allies and I have been working towards for the past two years, which we call the Galactic Systems Alliance. Which I would like the Mandalore Sector and its people to join." I said.
I then began explaining the Galactic Systems Alliance to Satine and her delegation.
All of them looking surprised while I did.
But by the end, I could sense they were all amicable to my words and the GSA.
"Well, that was certainly unexpected." Satine mused. Shethn looked at Jango. "And what of your thoughts on what young Sunrider has proposed, Mand'alor?"
"I think we should join the Galactic Systems Alliance." Jango replied. "It is the best decision for a our people. But I wanted your opinion before I made any final decisions regarding the matter." He explained. "For like I said, I want you and the New Mandalorians to continue to help the Mandalorian people grow and prosper."
"I see." Satine mused. "Well then Mand'alor if you think joining the Galactic Systems Alliance is what's best for our people, then I will trust your decision on the matter." Satine said.
"Thank you, duchess." Jango replied.
Me sensing both leaders were on the same page.
Good.
For they had just taken the first steps to truly uniting the Mandalorian people as one once more.
Which is a beautiful sight to see.
