『Sentiment』

It had been like any other day for the past five months on this world of Naboo. Wake up, freshen up, get dress and walk out the door to go to work while you're still sore from last night's training. It was just like the days he had spent at home on Tatooine, of course, less conservation on water.

As the Scimitar took to landing in the hangar bay of the Naboo Royal Palace, there seemed to be on going drills. Naboo N-1 Starfighters could be seen making their rounds over the city, leaving and returning to the hangar. This meant that they couldn't use a clandestine and covert entrance and ended up remaining uncloaked as to avoid damage from a collision.

Dooku, his disciple and Vaylin, came walking down the boarding ramp side by side. Their eyes tracing over the red and brown pilot uniforms as Security Officers ran around.

"It seems their timing is getting much better than before," Dooku observed to himself outload, he was in his more Count-like attire. A double breasted high-neck tunic with runic designs along the trim. The only thing missing was his Cloak of Serenno, something he still needed to acquire back on his homeworld upon his arrival.

"They seem to be really into these drills," Vaylin watched as one of the engineers tripped, but quickly scrambled back up onto their feet. "It's like that person didn't even fall down..."

"You're not wrong," Ento sniggered lightly at Vaylin's almost indifferent expression.

Vaylin smiled hearing his voice and turned to look at him. "So how did you sleep anyways? Before we got on board, you moved like a protocol droid."

"Quite fine now, thank you," Ento pursed his lips at her observation. He had indeed been waddling about like a protocol droid in the morning, mostly due to the stiffness of his legs.

In the past five months he had literally grown six inches, making him five foot six inches tall. He was standing well over her height and almost reaching Amidalas as she was an inch taller. Ento was still having growing pains in his legs and his arms, his shoulders were also rather stiff.

Dooku had already noticed his rapid growth in a short period of time, though it wasn't surprising. Humans grew at an exponential rate after all, and from the information he gained from the Jedi Order, he was genetically modified. There was no telling how tall he would get, how long he would live, or if he would even age after a certain point due to his strangely high connection to the force.

The young man looked up to his mentor for a moment, as Dooku was gazing off into space.

"Is something on your mind Master?" Ento asked curiously as they were walking towards the doors leading to the interior of the Palace.

Dooku looked to his student and smiled faintly, but retained a sternness about himself. "The current developments in the galaxy are becoming worrisome, that is all."

Vaylin looked to the old man and nodded subtly, "I haven't heard anything about my homeworld either. I even searched it through the holonet, there was nothing about it."

Ento looked to the girl with a curious expression on his face. "Perhaps after we travel to Serenno and restore peace, we can travel there... Or in any case, find it."

Dooku looked over the girl as she spoke of her homeworld not being on the holonet, or findable on a navigational map. "The force may guide you home, should you will it." The soon-to-be Count wisely informed, with a rounded gesture with his hand.

Ento smiled mutedly, "There are some regions of space that are nearly impossible to navigate without the use of the force, or a highly calibrated computer, so my father told me."

Their teacher nodded to them as they moved to the throne room in order to greet the Queen. They had to inform Queen Amidala that she was indeed going to have a new pair of Jedi being transferred to Naboo within the next few days.

So as they entered the sandstone walls of the Queen's Throne Chamber, they could see a number of Noble advisors standing about, talking amongst themselves.

Sitting on her throne was none other than Padmé in her regal gown and headdress, sporting her Scars of Remembrance along with two red dots on her cheeks.

Her big brown eyes warmly took Ento and Vaylin in, a faint smile across her lips as she was pleased by their presence. Though the way they walked seemed to be giving her a reason to frown. As she watched the three enter the room and walk up to the throne before bowing deeply, she raised a brow.

"Master Jedi," The Queen announced, "It is a pleasure to see you all today... What has brought this solemnness upon your faces?"

The Count stood up and looked to the girl in the throne, a light nod followed. "The People of Serenno have been attacked, and are without leadership. I have been summoned to return home and restore Order. I will be taking Ento and Vaylin along with me, as their training hasn't been completed." He gestured towards his Padawan learner and the young girl beside him.

Padmé's brows creased as she nodded, she wasn't happy about the news, but there wasn't really anything she could do. They had their own ship, so there was no use of offering them transportation. Oddly enough, she had found herself wishing to go off on an adventure, much like her time on Tatooine.

Her eyes moved to Ento, who was smiling at her faintly, a HoloDisk appeared to be crawling out of his Hapan tunic with spider legs attached to its ridges. It even had a little head attached to it with green slot shaped receptors as eyes.

The girl on the throne blinked at this and watched as it hopped off of his shoulder and crawled on over to the throne.

The Handmaidens and Panaka watched it curiously, doubting it was a security threat to the Queen, as they remained standing beside the throne watching.

"What is this little thing?" Padmé's reached over and poked its head as it crawled up onto the arm of her chair, the miniature 'spider' droid made a mechanical squeal.

"A portable HoloDisk, attached to a custom droid chassis. This little gadget will keep you incontact with us while we're on Serenno. Even though you will have Master Jin and Kenobi here to replace us in a little over sixty hours. It's Quantum linked with the Scimitar's Communications Projector." Ento gave her a rundown of its use, how it worked. This little droid he had put together had a point to point connection to the Scimitar, meaning it could not be blocked nor could it be traced or hacked into remotely.

Padmé found herself smiling as she plucked the spider off the arm of the chair. "Quantum Linked..." Her gaze shifted over the silvery exterior of the droid before slipping it into her sleeve, where it would fasten itself around her wrist like a bracelet. "Ooho..."

Vaylin looked over towards Ento with a brow raised, the technology he described sounded like something from Zakuul, as she had yet to find Quantum based Communication on the net.

"How long will you be on Serenno?" Her eyes shifted over the three.

"Likely until I am Knighted," Ento still remembered the promise he had made with her over five months ago. That once he was Knighted and or left the Jedi, he would return to Naboo.

Dooku believed if he sent the boy to Almas Academy he would graduate as a Knight within a year's time. His training had brought him a long way. The only issues he would have when using his current lightsaber was the defensive forms. He would have to adjust the width of his lightsaber's containment field or use the 'flat face' of his saber's blade.

Little did he know, but his Disciple was already designing a new lightsaber after repetitively taking apart his father's saber and putting it back together. He learned what all of the parts vital functions were, as well as their more menial functions.

A thin blade was usually just for cosmetics, but he had found that it was used to overload short out an opponent's containment field. It was a clever design, but it was horrible for defense when used in an orthodox way, though it could easily be adapted to as he had learned the basic stances and attack patterns.

"What is on the agenda for the day, your Majesty?" Dooku asked with his hands folded behind his back, almost militantly standing before her as a legendary commander of sorts.

The days fighting against the True Mandalorians still haunted him, how many of the Jedi had been killed and even the Mandalorians themselves. The way the Jedi had been used to kill unneededly... It sickened him greatly.

"The people are rebuilding and expanding, we have already almost completely recovered from the Trade Federation's Blockade... However it seems the Viceroy has been released." Padmé frowned visibly, she wanted to protest this to the Coruscant senate, but the now Senator of Naboo Janus Greejatus didn't budge to take up on her demands.

"Released...?" Dooku narrowed his eyes, the senate has proved nonfunctional again.

"Cleared of all charges..." Panaka scrunched up his nose, showing clear disgust.

"He clearly committed war crimes against the Naboo," Ento grimaced almost grinding his teeth together at the very idea of him getting out. "It's only been five months, that's hardly morally sound."

The discussion of discontent around the ruling and release of the Viceroy went on for a little bit over an hour. Now not only did they have to fear Palpatine, but likely the Viceroy as well. He even retained his rank within the Federation despite his deceptions. Then it went onto the duties of the Queen and protecting, as well as advising her on anything that seemed to need her attentions.

Vaylin would be standing by the windows, looking out towards the City of Theed.

Ento stood directly behind the Throne, keeping watch towards the passageway behind it.

Dooku on the other hand stood directly beside the throne, opposite to Panaka.

The day was mostly uneventful. Ever since the sighting of Palpatine on Serenno during the slaying of his family, it seemed as if the Sith Lord had up and vanished again. Whether or not it was really him or a ploy someone else used, it was unknown.

Dooku's gaze moved to his saber hilt, which was hanging on his belt that bisected the lower area of his tunic to create the illusion of skirting. He said nothing.

For the longest time Padmé was answering calls from the various governors of the various cities of Naboo as well as the Leader of the Gungans. The matters were mostly trivial, some including the taxation of residence and others of local crime. However there was a notable amount of corruption of the planet leftover from the previous King's administration.

Vaylin swore she was watching the horizon long enough to see the sun rise to high noon and even fall as the evening began to approach. It wasn't necessarily boring, but there was no meetings today in person with anyone outside of the chambers.

When she did leave, it was for a meal, or to go to the bathroom.

What appeared to be a lifetime, was only less than half a day. Ento stretched and moved from behind the throne, narrowing his eyes around the room before resting his gaze on the arm of her throne. After a long gander, it looked as if it could be opened. As he felt around with the force, he could sense the power cells of blaster pistols in a hidden compartment.

Padmé looked over at him and raised a brow, a small smirk forming over her lips as she pressed a button and revealed a small arsenal of naboo blaster pistols.

"Neat," Ento peered into the compartment before looking to Panaka who was looking the boy over. "I'm assuming you used these weapons to take the Viceroy by surprise?"

"In a way..." The Head of Security seemed to appear smug now, as he went on to tell the tale of five months ago when they had gained access to the Palace.
