Jakku

A while later, Inception shot out of hyperspace and headed towards Jakku. As it flew through the atmosphere, Dak looked out at the desert below. Unlike Tatooine, which was more of a rocky desert planet (with the exception of the Dune Sea), Jakku had smooth sand dunes covering its surface. It was a bit more beautiful than Tatooine's landscape, but Dak knew it was still going to be harsh and hot.

"So, where are we supposed to find this Ajax guy here?" he finally said.

"Perhaps the card will tell us." IG-67 replied. Dak pulled the datacard out and studied it. After a few minutes, he found a set of symbols written in holographic lettering on the back.

"Do you know what these mean?" Dak asked, showing IG the symbols.

"Those are coordinates written in a secret code used my most Imperials." IG replied, "Fortunately, I can translate them and find the location."

Dak nodded, and the droid proceeded to do what he had said. However, as he did, he thought to himself, An Imperial code?

Within a few minutes, IG-67 had input the coordinates, and then piloted the ship in their direction. The coordinates led to a small trading outpost with only a few major buildings.

"For someone as supposedly rich as this Ajax, he sure picked a weird spot to hide out." Dak said.

"Indeed." IG agreed.

Dak decided to put the ship down anyways at one of the open ports. Once the ship landed, Dak paid for a pit crew to refuel the ship, then went into the outpost to find the client. Noticing an address on the card, he went around, asking people if they knew where this location was. At first it almost seemed like a wild Bantha chase as very few people even had an idea. It was only until IG-67 pointed it out that Dak was asking travelers and not locals, which caused Dak to mentally kick himself. Moving on to shop owners, he was finally directed to a small building in one of the far corners of the outpost. It seemed a pretty shady area to be in, but it was also a pretty good place to hide. Dak knocked on the door, and a little eyeball-like droid popped out of a socket on the side, asking what they were doing there. Dak showed the card, and the droid went back into the socket. Then, the door opened, and Dak and IG walked in. They entered a small room with a table at the far side. Sitting in it was a middle aged man with black hair and a thin moustache who wore a dark uniform. The man turned to see the two hunters.

"I see you got my little invitation." He said.

"You must be Ajax." Dak said.

The man nodded: "I am, and you are the first hunters to actually get here. Please, have a seat." Dak and IG-67 sat down at the other end of the table.

"So," Dak began, "Who do you want us to find so badly?"

"Not a who," Ajax said, "A what. It's a crate that hold valuable items that I need to complete a project of mine."

"Where is this crate?"

Ajax pulled up a digital map of Jakku; the outpost in the center. Then, he pointed to an area towards the northwest.

"There is the wreck of an old Republic cruiser in this area," Ajax explained, "The crate has survived the crash, but it is hidden deep in the wreck."

"What kind of crate are we looking for?"

Ajax handed a holo-projector to Dak, who turned it on to show a small sized cube with, much to Dak's surprise, the Mandalorian symbol on the lid.

"Being a Mandalorian, I'm sure you recognize the symbol." Ajax said.

"Yes, I do," Dak replied.

"Now of course, I only care about the contents of the crate, so if you absolutely need to, you may remove the items from the crate to better conceal them. Obviously it is very important I get these items."

"Alright," Dak said, "Seems a bit much thought for a small crate."

"Indeed, but that id for a reason. I tried sending my own men to get the crate first, but only a few of them returned, claiming most of them have been killed off by someone living in the wreck. I needed to get the attention of as many of the best bounty hunters as I could."

"Do we know who it is?"

"Unfortunately no; he moves too quickly and is too stealthy for us to even get a look. All I can tell you is to watch your back."

"Is that all the information you have?"

"Yes, I will give you the approximate coordinates of the wreck. That, plus that holo-projector of the crate, should be more than enough to help you, especially for a hunter of your caliber."

Dak nodded, than stood up, turning to leave after he accepted the datachip with the coordinates, IG-67 following him. After a few minutes, the two made it back to the ship, where Dak opened the cargo door to reveal two speeder bikes. Packing multiple large rations of both food and water in the storage bags on the back of the speeder, Dak inserted the datachip into the speeder's nav. On the dashboard, a green dot showed up on a map of Jakku.

"Coordinates are in." Dak said to IG-67 as he got on the lead speeder, "You ready?"

IG-67 sat on his speeder and said: "Affirmative."

Dak nodded and pointed the speeders to outside the ship.

"Let's rock," he said, and the two speeders shot out of the ship, zooming past the buildings and tents and out of the outpost towards the site of the cruiser wreck.
