Chapter 53

The Supreme Leader of the Ssi-ruu ended up agreeing to Alexander's proposal and was give his freedom.

Seeing that Alexander was treating him with more respect he was glad that he accepted the offer.

After that Alexander explained more about his responsibilities.

First he shall continue to hold the title of Supreme Ruler over the Ssi-ruu, but he must answer to Alexander as he is naturally over him. All actions that he takes must be approved by Alexander or one of his envoys that he shall leave on the planet.

Second, the Ssi-ruu will be allowed to rebuild their military and will be given new technology to improve their world's, society, and military. There is no limit to how big their military can be since no matter how big it is they won't be able to contend with Alexander's army.

Third, All Ssi-ruu worlds will have a Terran Garrison located on the central city to maintain order and improve the relations between the Terran Citizens and the Ssi-ruu citizens. Military exercises will be conducted to improve the team work and the experience of the Ssi-ruu military and promote a sort of friendship between the two militaries.

There some other small things also mentioned as well.

In all the benefits of making such a decision was too great for the Supreme Leader. He felt as though they were destined to become servants to his Overlord Alexander but still as he Ssi-ruu he had thoughts since as a warrior race they shouldn't be servants to another Empire.

But Alexander has proved that he and his Empire are better warriors then them so all he can do is to respect them and fight along side them now instead of worrying about the past.

Alexander didn't worry about the Supreme Leader betraying him since he will always have a stealth droid monitoring him at all times.

But with this out of the way now they were effectively not at war anymore and now he could relax while he leaves it up to TB to transport the technology over to the Ssi-ruu and teach them how to make it.

This left him with nothing to do but sign documents and train with Yrena or Yona. So he decided to take a look at how the rest of the galaxy was doing.

Cortana who had been monitoring the situation regarding the rest of the Galaxy had begin to explain what was happening.

First of all, after leaving Coruscant and killing the Merchant that sparked a conflict between the Merchants guild and the Trade Federation, things got heated as the Trade Federation which seeked to use it's influence to destroy the Merchant Guild was having problems as the Merchant guild while it wasn't massive like the Trader Federation had built up a lot of contacts with powerful people on Coruscant.

The Trade Federation also had a lot of influential people such as senators in their pockets but not enough to offset the balance between them and the Merchant Guild.

Because of this the Trade Federation has started to get aggressive with the Merchant Guild by hiring people to disrupt their business or cause problems with their operations.

Soon enough lot's of product from the Merchant Guild had ended up 'missing'. Their operations going out of the Coruscant system had been getting disrupted.

So they had no choice but to hire people to protect their products and even openly blamed the Trade Federation during the council meetings in the Republic Senate.

But this was useless as all the Senator cared about was profit and they didn't see how helping the little Merchant's guild would turn them a profit so they just turned their heads dismissing the problem.

Outside of the problems between the Trade Federation and the Merchants guild lot's of unrest had been reported from many republic worlds and crime was rising as well.

The Galactic Empire has been very quite throughout this time but with some investigating Cortana has found that they are building ship's like crazy and are amassing a great army to deal with the Republic.

As for the Republic every day that passes more problems start to occur. The Jedi Order are stretched thin already.

But this was perfect for Palpatine as all he had to do now was to just take advantage of the chaos and just swallow the whole Republic into his Empire.

Compared to the Republic the Empire put a great deal of money towards ensuring Order throughout their territory.

Their Military was already more powerful and superior than the Republic military which is underfunded by the Senators of the Republic who send a lot money secretly to the Empire.

And with the Jedi stretched thin they couldn't investigate this matter so the Senators could get aways with it.

As of now there were not any major wars going on in the Galaxy but with the rising tension in the Galaxy it would only be a matter of time until something happens.
