The Land of Avay

During the meeting, Prince Zane and Demon Lord Kazuto explained the land to the Ghost and the Committee. The Kingdom of Ashfeld was on the Northeastern coast of the land. Further inland, the Theocracy of the Church of Humanity was the ruling nation. They had made sure King Eldword took the throne after they'd killed the last King. To the West was the Kingdom of Demi-Humans. They were the only nation to be fully enslaved by the Theocracy. There were several continents that all had kingdoms that either supported the Church of Humanity or remained neutral to save their nations.

Kazuto looked around and paused a moment.

You all seem pretty calm and okay with this.

Well, we did fight a tyrannical world government and win. This stuff is pretty normal for us at this point.

None of the heroes or committee seemed phased by our ways of life either. Why is that?

Well to be fair, we fought the Cryptid Nazis that inhabited the area far north of this continent. Rothschild, the leader of that Tyrannical Government the Ghost mentioned, released them into our world. said the Busch Hunter as he crushed a can of beer.

I see. We had no idea they were there.

Even we demons didn't know that such beings existed. We knew of the land, it is separated by the sea of the dead. Nobody dares cross it. 

Well they did, and they are part of the reason we are here. They released a virus that mutated with a fungus that infected our world. I'm not sure that anyone other than us survived.

Well, I am glad you all survived, if not, my wife would probably be dead and the humans and demons back at war.

The Committee and the Prince along with the Demon Lord talked late into the night. The New Ottawans learned plenty about the humans and demons of this world.

I have a question. said Spencer holding Tempest. You have Demons, and Magic. What other races are there? 

Well, Elves, but they keep to themselves in the forests on every continent. Dwarves, Lizard-folk, and so many more. Hell, I can't even keep track of them all.

Okay, if we sought them out, would they help us? We can't count on humanity and thanks to Constitution, the Demon Army is in critical condition. 

Prince Zane and Demon Lord Kazuto thought a moment before Karmia spoke up.

I know of an elven clan that would help you. They owe me a favor. If we sent representatives to them, I'm sure they would help convince others.

The Ghost nodded and stood up. Alright, it's late. Go get some sleep. Busch Hunter, Tempest, Spencer and Demon Lord Kazuto will go to the Elves. Meanwhile, I will play face that we killed Kazuto. Kazuto, give me something as proof that we killed you and send us a demon who would be willing to work with and alongside us. 

I'll do you one better Ghost. I will send a large group of my people to live in New Ottawa as well as Demon warriors. That way if the king asks, it was my final request before you killed me. Also, I will give you a Demon Lord crystal. It will be proof enough to convince him. 

As the meeting ended, the Ghost looked in the direction of Ashfeld. He knew what was to come...War was on the horizon once more.
