Too Sweet

It's easier walking into Club Redwood this time. I know what to expect. But as soon as we pass through the majestic tree trunk, the energy is so much higher than it was a few nights ago. This is the weekend, and that means more people, louder music, and an overall crazier atmosphere.
Dominik leads the way, greeting one of the bouncers as we pass.
"Chester, this is Kisa," Dominik says, turning to introduce me.
"Ivan's new girl," Chester chuckles. "Nice to meet you."
"You too."
"You'll help me watch out for her, won't you Chester?"
"Of course I will." Chester's dark eyes flick back to mine. "You need anything, Miss Kisa, you come find me."
"Thank you, Chester," I smile.
