First meeting

Dea was in class S, which consisted of 12 students. After she looked around the class, Dea noticed a familiar face. Princess Anippe from Scorpio was one of her classmates.

  As Dea looked at the young girl with ashy blond hair and green eyes who was about 16, the girl also looked her way. Seeing Dea, the girl started walking her way.

  The conflict between the two countries was well known, and as other students saw Anippe walking to Dea, they all waited for the show to unfold, but Anippe's next actions surprised them all.

"Princess Dea, it's been a while. How have you been?" The girl asked as she smiled happily.

Compared to others, Dea was not surprised.

"I've been good. How about you?"

Dea's casual words surprised the audience even more. Getting Dea's answer, the girl looked even happier. At this moment, a handsome boy walked to her.

"Cousin, you know her?"

"Lucas. Yes, Princess saved mine and my brother's life a few years back." Answered Anippe.

  This surprised not only the students but Lucas, Anippe's cousin as well. 

Lucas was the second prince of Pisces country, also part of the 1% and Anippe's and Maat's cousin from their mother's side. Queen Armen was the only sister of the current Queen of Pisces country, and after her death, the two countries almost went to war.

  Pisces has been governed by Queen Silva for 18 years already. She was a strong woman and a great leader. Silva had one sister Armen and one brother Simon, who died in the war for the crown. Later Armen fell in love with Scorpio's late king and despite her sister's opposition, still married him. Silva and Armin had a big fight over this, and Silva always regretted putting her pride over her sister and not protecting her.

  She was even more sorrowful hearing her only niece and nephew have been killed. This almost lead her to start a war with the Scorpio, but after finding out they were alive, she decided to leave revenge to them.

  Silva had only one husband and five children who were very close with each other, so all of them knew that a few years ago someone has saved Anippe and Maat, only they didn't know who it was, but they were eternally grateful. 

  After Lucas heard that it was Dea who saved his cousins, his impression immediately became good. At this time, the professor came into the class, and both Anippe and Lucas took their seats beside Dea.

In the academy, every first-year student had five must-take subjects and two courses of choice.

Five subjects were:

1st – History.

2nd – Survival skills.

3rd – Weapons mastery.

4th – Skill manipulation.

5th – Biology.

Dea also took two additional courses. First was Ancient languages, and second was Inscriptions.

  Because of her skill "creation," Dea was already a master at armament making and even at potion and pill making, as long as she raised her cultivation and had a vision or recipe, she could make them, but learning Inscriptions and Ancient languages was a different thing. The library was full of different recipes and drawings for weapons, pills, and other things till purple level. It included different symbols and inscriptions, but for that, she needed to learn inscriptions and languages.

Then she could mix them with her "creation" skill and make even more powerful and magical staff.

The current class was history. Professor was a beautiful man in his 30ies with dark purple hair and brown eyes.

"Hello everyone. My name is Dave. I will be your History teacher. First, we will start with the history of the creation of our continent. There are a few theories about the creation of the Zodiac continent, but the most well-known are the next 3."

  Dea boringly listened as the professor explained the history she already knew, after all, her library had many kinds of books and if you believe Little White, after she opens the next layers, more and more kinds of treasure and rare books would be there.

The lecture lasted about an hour and a half, after it was over and the professor left the class, Anippe and Lucas approached Dea again.

"Princess, which courses did you choose?" Anippe asked.

"Anippe, you can just call me Dea. Inscription and Ancient languages." Hearing that, Anippe also decided to call her by the name.

"Then Dea, this is my cousin Lucas. Do you want to go to the next class together?"

"Sure." Said Dea bored.

  Each class was taken twice a week. Today they had history and Survival skills. Dea, Lucas, and Anippe decided to go to the class together.

  Dea was already quite familiar with Maat, and even though she had less contact with Anippe, she also helped with the war, and when she saved them a few years ago, they traveled together for quite some time. So, Dea was not cold to her and became familiar with Lucas pretty quickly. Moreover, both of these kids were talkative and cheerful.

"By the way, Dea?"

"Hmm?"

"Did you already join the adventurer's Party?" Asked Lucas.

"With my sister." Said Dea.

"Then can we join?" Asked Anippe expectantly.

  Anippe was a big fan of Dea since she met her and hearing that she was a member of a party, she really wanted to join.

"I don't know. I can ask them."

  When they arrived at the field where the Survival class would take place, they were met with another hundred students from different classes.

  When others saw their S-class badges all the attention went to them. Dea, Anippe, and Lucas didn't have much reaction; they just went to the side to wait for the professor. In a few minutes, all the students came, and finally, the professor appeared as well. It was a middle-aged man with unkempt clothes and long hair that covered his face.

"Okay, since all you brats are here… let's start today's lesson… I am Carlo, your survival skills teacher."

  The man was rude and had a rough voice. In one hand he had a bottle and was drinking in between his speech.

  Even though he could barely stand, much less talk, no one had disgust in their eyes. This man was a well-known drunkard Carlo and even though he was rude and drunk 100% of the time, everyone knew that he was one of the strongest and most evil professors in the academy.

"Now break up into groups of 7… If I call your name, you are in that group."

  Dea, Lucas, and Anippe were in the same group with four others.

First was a girl named Nora from class B. She was a quiet and shy girl from Pisces with pink hair and black eyes, about 163cm, and 16 years old.

  After her was a boy from class C Nathan. He was tall with dark green hair and brown eyes and lustfully looked at the girls in his group. 

Dea barely managed to keep herself from killing him right there but decided not to make a move yet.

Others also immediately didn't like him.

  The third guy was a kid about 12. He had red hair and blue eyes and looked at everyone unbothered. He was from class-A and was the youngest student this year. His name was Isaac.

  And the last one was a tall, beautiful man who had dark blue hair and cold purple eyes. He looked about 18. He was also from class-A his name was Zora.

  The moment he approached, Dea heard little white's voice.

"Master, it's him. He is the one that was spying on you early."

"Hmm."

'Things are getting more and more interesting, well at least this guy looks handsome, maybe it will be more fun than I thought.'

  Amusement flashed in Dea's eyes as Zora felt shivers down his spine, not knowing that he has been chosen as a certain monster's next prey.
