In Navy headquarters:

As Vice Admiral Momonga had just exited the special department for assigning bounties to criminals.

He recalled the name Momonga, well it was natural to remember one's name, but the name he recalled wasn't his own. Technically it was still his, but there were two Momongas in the sea.

Normally that wouldn't be a problem. But, if one was the vice admiral of the navy whereas the other was an infamous pirate. This was due to cause a huge problem.

As Momonga was walking through the hallways he recalled the fiasco which started the problem.

A few months ago:

As he had returned with his marine battleship after apprehending a pirate that had slaughtered an entire village.

He heard some chattering voices, " 'The demon of the white mist Momonga' destroyed an entire branch of the marine base."

His fellow seaman who was cleaning the barrel of the gun stooped his action momentarily and asked in surprise, "Huh! An entire branch? how is it possible? weren't there any high-ranked marines in the base or what?

Hearing that the first seamen shouted with anger and fear mixed in his voice, "Yeah there were two Rear Admirals Apparently, but they were knocked out, thankfully he didn't kill them, but the base was robbed clean out of everything."

"Damn, that pirate scum 'Devill Momonga' destroying the reputation of the Marines.

As they were cursing three generations of Momonga, they felt the presence of someone behind them, As the two seamen turned around, their voices stopped, and both of them uttered in a frightened voice "Vice Admiral Mo..Mo...Momonga".

As they turned around, they couldn't find the right words to say, they quickly saluted Vice Admiral Momonga and felt their throws grow dry, they were only seamen whereas the person in front of them was vice admiral Momonga. If the vice admiral decided to take their words seriously, they would be fucked.

Fortunately for them, vice admiral Momonga didn't take any serious action against them he simply asked some questions about the pirate Momong, and eventually left them alone.

As the seamen finished the conversation, they realized they were covered in sweat, and both of them felt glad that vice admiral Momonga was a kind marine. If it was someone like vice-admiral Akainu they would have been turned to ash. It was already known how strict and cruel Akainu was. As they washed the retreating back of vice admiral Momonga a sigh escaped their lips.

As Vice Admiral Momonga was walking while recalling the conversation with the marine soldiers he felt anger and hatred within him. There was some pirate with the same name as him, causing terror in the sea.

The name Momong which should have brought justice and hope to people was now a name that caused terror among people, he couldn't accept this. So, he made an oath to himself, If I don't kill this pirate, I will change my name to something else other than Momonga.

He immediately went to the office of fleet admiral Sengoku, to ask him permission to get deployed, to catch the fiend who was dragging his name in mud.

As he neared the office, feeling the silence, he immediately knew that Vice Admiral Garp was not present otherwise, they would be the noise of bickering from the room.

After asking for permission to enter the room. He saw fleet admiral Sengoku working on some paperwork, looking at that he spoke in a respectful tone, "Here is the report about the capture of the one-eyed pirates."

Looking at the report, Sengoku asked "Was there any problem,"

"There wasn't any "

As Momonga replied, He looked at Sengoku and asked," Recently, I have come to hear rumors about a pirate named Momomga. So what do we know about that."

Hearing that, "Sengokus's hand momentarily paused he then let out a loud sigh and said, " I knew you would ask about this". He then took out a new document and started reading out loud.

"Name: Momonga,

Age: unknown (but believed to be old)

Home town unknown (The first time he was seen was inside the Florian Triangle. It is believed that he was lost in the Florian Triangle and due to some pirates got free and started roaming the sea).

Race: unknown ( It is known that he doesn't eat drink, sleep, or any other human function, most of the time he lies down on the floor and stays like that until something important occurs).

Devil Fruit: Hiya Hiya no mi fruit or a similar ice-related devil fruit.

Connections: he is the Captain of The Overlord Pirates. All of his crew are from other pirate crews that he defeated and took under him. Though there are children with him it is speculated that he took them to be a doctor.

They might be his weakness because he hides their faces for some unknown reason.

Other than that there isn't much known about him, it is speculated that he may be from some other ancient race. But we don't exactly know which since his character doesn't match any. Many even call him the demon who was responsible for people's disappearance in Florian Triangle.

His goal might be to be the same as the name of his pirate crew, To be the overlord of the pirates. His pirate crew is also divided into factions and anyone with enough strength can challenge a higher-ranked person to take the post.

Overall, The pirate Momonga has been given the title, "The Demon of the white mist" because his origin is veiled in a mist and the Demon is given because his armor is made up of bones which along with his shining crimson eyes gives him the visage of a Demon.

His strength has been designated as same as a vice admiral but it could be higher."

After the document there was absolute silence in the room, eventually, Sengoku spoke breaking it.

I can feel your frustration but no need to be hasty and take action immediately, I don't think it's a good idea to try and take him down alone.

Even the higher-ups are giving attention to this pirate. So, you just have to wait for a while.

Whatever it may be in the end, Justice will be served also Don't act rashly, the Marines can't lose a good marine such as yourself.

Hearing that Momonga felt a bit bitter but he decided to believe in Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Quick saluting he went out of the room.

As he exited the room, he saw vice admiral Garp, despite being of the same rank and having worked together in various opportunities, he knew that Garp was someone worthy of his respect. So, he respectfully greeted Garp. Garp who was eating potato crackerser just nodded at him and continued towards the office.

As Momonga continued on his way, he heard a loud shouting behind him, Garp don't throw the wrapper on the desk. What do you think this is? Your trash can.

Then there was the sound of laughing Garp, "Hahahaha". After that, the sound of shouting and a loud laugh kept resounding through the Fleet admiral's office.

Currently:

The promised time had come, and the Overlord pirate's position had been compromised due to some pirates that defected from the crew, it was a common occurrence in that crew.

As Vice Admiral Momonga was boarding the ship he looked at the side and saw five other ships along with his own.

There were going to be 4 vice admirals along with Admiral Kizaru to apprehend the pirate. This was akin to a force as powerful as a buster call. With this, he was certain that Justice would be served.
