Imelda blushed. She didn't know what to say when Ryan and John praised her like that.
"I'll go to the kitchen first, Ma. I'm hungry," John said, leaving without waiting for Imelda's reply.
While Imelda wanted to go to the kitchen to prepare food and drinks for the small celebration in the Howling Proud pack area, Ryan touched her left shoulder.
"Wait, my dear. I have something to say."
So, Imelda waited there, wondering what Ryan would say.
