Daniel shrugged. "I need a mate, but not for now. I need to achieve something big first."
"I understand," Jasmine said, "But achieving something with your mate beside you is better than achieving big things with no one to celebrate it."
"Maybe …." Daniel glanced at John, trying to ask for help.
John raised his hand. "Jasmine, how about this? Tomorrow, you can arrange a small celebration, so Daniel and I can meet our pack members. Then if Daniel meets someone he likes, you may help set the next meeting for them. Otherwise, let him find his mate alone."
Jasmine bent her head. "Yes, Alpha. It will be nice to have a small celebration." She grinned and gazed at Killian. "We have had no celebration except our marking ceremony, have we?"
"Yes, my dear." Killian circled his arms around his wife's waist. He inhaled her scent and smiled. "Do you think you can prepare everything on short notice?"
