Long Time.. Do I want to see?

Diamon's POV

As we stood up from the litter conveyance, the sounds of the marketplace assaulted our ears, as did the smell of food and rare spices. I went to take Aya by the hand, but she refused. Instead, settling herself to walking slowly at my side. The temples were not too far away which is why I decided we'd go on foot. Four house guards surrounded us ready to defend if need be. You just never knew with these Roman crowds.. The buildings that were on either side of us were almost bleached white, except around the bottoms due to all the dirt and traffic in the streets.

Smiling, I turn to Aya. "I'll be right back, I have business to conduct in this temple today." she inclined her head and I took off up the steps to the temple of the goddess Hera.
