After 3 more wins before we changed the course or cavern, i won em all, in exchange for those wins I got a new Arachnet, Aquabeek and you won't believe what i got! A dozen of sluglings!!!

The one i battled is a merchant and he wanted to try the tournament to get some fame since i defeated him before the change he still got a bit of attention which in his book was good enough since he is still a newbie to the trade thing, he didn't hate me he just offered that instead of taking one of his trained slugs

He'd rather give me a dozen sluglings which in my book is good enough, i didn't have a nursery for them but my parents do, and since i think they'll (Mom) give me one of their old nurseries for me to take care of these younglings maybe if i'm lucky enough a bag of food slugs anyway

I can already see some promising slugs and with enough slug energy they might get a little boost but we'll see, anyway the next cavern is a little far away from Rocklock Cavern and a little dangerous

"Next cavern is Chillbore Cavern" i said enthusiastically "Hahaha, we won a lot!!" my happy girlfriend smiled at me "We sure did" After getting some decent money from the bets i already saw some new pellet creation machines that i could buy!

Although i must gather some ingredients which i did when Nuke was still a youngling, i just have to make it a little larger scale "Snap out of it reven, we are close and those icy worms won't let us go easily if disturbed" "I know, i know ill be really careful not to bump any spring like rocks"

"Kuhahaha, come on kid give me your slugs and you'll get out of this cavern safe and clean" A random thug-like sound came from one of the roads "Oh, come on I'm just a little researcher no need for this right? hehe"

"Wanna Help?" i looked at trish "Sure, why not"

We got close to the ruckus and saw a giant person scowling at a wimpy guy "Come on guys no need for this" The two of them looked at us "Heh, this is none of your business" "Ehh, if so then…" i aimed my blaster at him "Then maybe i can demonstrate what you're doing"

"Grrr…" Without any time to waste, the guy shoots a slug at me "Hey that's not nice" stepping back and Sending Aquabeek at him "AhhhhH!!! You'll pay for this!!" The scientist looked at me "Thanks, i was just sending a vitalis crystal to the Chillbore cavern" "Why? Not that i want to intrude but a vitalis crystal? Is uhh" "Rare i know, one of the caverns needed this vital crystal because it is losing slug energy somehow"

"Ohh, then you can come with us then" "Really??" "Yeah, i mean that's where the next tournament is placed" "Okay then, ill pack this up quick and we can go"

After helping the scientist get his stuff in his mecha beast which is a chicken… we continued our journey, we passed through a lot of high planes and forests which have a lot of beasts that will kill you if you're not guarded

"BEEEESSS!!!!!!!!!" the scientist screamed pointing at a forest "Haaaa… you know this happened a lot now" "Dude chill out will you, sheeesh" i fired Tornado the Tormato to the bee swarm which he sent out "You know you should try slinging" "I don't know… i'm clumsy and will probably mess up" "You just need some training and you'll be good to go"

"Reven he needs a sling AND a slug to learn first" "He can use one of my slugs" "Uhuh… sure, that can work" "The blaster?" "One of my own" "One of your blasters? Really??" "I mean i do react when someone touches my blasters but its not that big of a deal!" "You traumatized a random kid because they touched it for only a second!"

"Hey, i thought they would break it" "Uhuh" her look of exasperation really embarrassed me this time "It's okay reven, i have a semi-blaster here and i always keep a bubbaleone in here" "So you can sling?" "Escaping sure but fighting? I'm worse than a 10-year-old old" "Any more slugs that you have?" "No only Bubbaleone"

"We can try training him with… a bubbaleone but i don't think that would help much" i suggested "Yeah they're defensive and escaping slug only" trish added "Okay… this might be a problem, how bout catching one?" i suggested again "That might be a problem…" the scientist added "Why? It doesn't really take too long to catch a slug" i stated then

The two of them looked at me "Really? I mean yes we have advanced catching methods but they are really fast when they want" Trish chimed "Yeah, what she said, even i'm not that ignorant" "…really? i mean nuke help me get bomb and rocket" "…Really?? i had a hard time getting this bubbaleone you know" the scientist rebutted "It takes a lot of planning as well and preparations," trish said

"Okay, ill show you how i got Bomb and rocket, Nuke i need your help" A green slug came out of my backpack and looked at me "I need you to help me find a vinedrill that might be interested in some action" Nuke nodded to me and hopped down

"And now we wait" The two of them looked at me like i'm crazy "This won't work Reven" "Believe me trish this will work" "Scientifically speaking… this has less chance of working" and without a second a green slug jump on my shoulder "…Did you find them?" "Krrrriiiwww" Nuke nodded without hesitation

Three green slugs came out of the bush "Wha?? HOW????" I smirked and said "Perks of being close to your slugs" then i looked at the three Vinedrill "Hey little guys wanna help me and these two, some bugs really make him" pointing at the scientist "Scared" "Hey no need to say that!" his reaction made the three vinedrill's giggle, then they nodded at me, the three of them separated and made their way to their own

Owners "Okay now that you have a vinedrill ill teach you how to sling" then i showed him some basic slinging while we were moving, it didn't take too long to get in the cavern "Haaa, a week full of forest and dangers!! Finally!!!" the scientist kisses the ground while screaming words of thanks "That… that's too much don't you think?" The scientist looked at Trish "You… you don't understand how scary the training with reven is!"

"Believe me… i know" "Hey, the training was easy you know!" their looks of shock turned into grim was enough for me to shut up "…ignoring him, ill pass the Vitalis Crystal to the institute but as a reward ill give you guys these" while handing a crystal to us the scientist rushes off while me and Trish were stunned looking at the two vitalis crystals in our hands
