Skill Overlord System (DROPPED)

A billion people, including Quinn, was suddenly summoned to another world by an A.I. like existence claiming to be that world's consciousness. The A.I. explained how that world is similar to a game world and then spoke of it's troubles. He asked the humans, who posses endless creativity and boundless intelligence, to help it's inhabitants. In return, they could obtain infinite strength and build their own kingdoms and civilizations. Each person was then given a talent that would be awakened upon levelling up. Upon awakening, Quinn soon learned that he obtained his own cheat that could let him rise to the top without barely doing anything

Chapter 5: Forum, New Skill and Level Up

At this moment of relaxation, he was given another chance to study the system more and his status.

'Status'

Player Name: Quinn

Level 3

HP: 40/40

MP:40/40

HP recovery: 0.8/sec

MP recovery: 0.8/sec

STR: 4

AGI: 4

INT: 4

WIL: 4

CON: 4

CHA:4

Free attribute points: 15

Skills: [STRENGTH (MAX)],

[INTELLIGENCE (MAX)], [WILLPOWER (MAX)], [CONSTITUTION (MAX)], [AGILITY (MAX)], [CHARISMA (MAX)], [SLASH lvl 1]

Quinn soon noticed the extra 15 attribute points and pondered on where to put them. "Huh, I'll soon obtain tons of skills which would probably need a shit ton of mana so why not INT for extra mana and WIL for faster recovery."

Without thinking much he dumped 10 points on INT and 5 points on WIL. However, after doing so, he felt like he did something wrong and couldn't help but regret dumping away his points. "So what if I have a lot of mana. What if I encounter another monster like the rabbit. I wouldn't be able to hit them no matter how strong my skills are. Not to mention how I can die with one strike."

While he was starting to get depressed, Alice's voice rang out in his ears. [Dont worry Host. With enough mana, you can do everything and make the impossible possible. You can also create skill that improves your body based on how much mana you have.]

"That's right! I forgot I'm a protagonist with an OP cheat. Those common troubles are for commoners."

He checked again to make sure of the changes.

INT: 4 -> 14

WIL: 4 -> 9

MP: 40/40 -> 140/140

MP recovery -> 1.8/sec

Quinn sighed in relief. With that, his worries were completely washed away. Next, he started browsing the system more and found that there were actually more functions.

There was actually a Forum for Players like Quinn to interact. Furthermore, there was a beginner's guide posted there for all the Player's to see.

"Holy shit, I was too excited to notice all of this. How am I still alive at this point. This world is much dangerous than I thought."

According to the information he gathered, this world was divided into countries, further divided into regions, then even further divided into areas. There was also a crude map that shows the area where he is and the areas around him that make up the region.

The region he was in was called Flatmore Area where it was mostly occupied by the Flatmore Forest. There was a small Flatmore Lake beside it. He then checked at how big Flatmore is and was stunned.

"Holy shit! Just this Area alone is bigger than Australia. Just how big is this planet."

Following that information was about the various equipment and items in this world. They are roughly divided into Tiers. It starts from Tier 1 and after surpassing Tier 10, it then becomes a Rank 1 Tier 1.

The can be said for player and monster levels. For players and monsters, they would reach a new Tier every ten levels. There would be a huge increase for every new tier. When players rank up to Rank 1, there would be a qualitative increase and it was also considered as the first step to becoming a god. At that stage, you could fly even without skills.

After digesting all the new knowledge, he then set his eyes on the Chat Channel. They were divided into Area Chat, Regional Chat, Country Chat, and World Chat.

Quinn checked the World Chat but there were too messages that he couldn't even finish reading before they would be swept away by the overflowing chat messages.

He then went to his Area Chat and found that there were also a lot of people but at least he can still manage. He scanned through the messages and found that most of them were actually asking for resources to survive. Moreover, a lot of them were asking for water.

"Heh, if only they know that they're literally surrounded by pure drinking water."

Of course, Quinn wouldn't let this opportunity pass by to gather some resources. He still has thoughts about expanding his house and building his own furniture.

Quinn quickly compiled a bunch of information regarding on how to obtain clean drinking water and posted it using the Trade function.

This was another useful function he found. If the effects differ by even a little bit by the seller's description, then the post won't appear in front of other people. This directly prevented scammers from obtaining a huge amount of profit.

Quinn also took this chance to level up his [CHARISMA] by making idle talks with a bunch of random people. He didn't talk about much and just asked how they were doing, what they were currently doing and maybe throwing some jokes here and there.

Before long, he was finally able to max it out.

Quinn let exhaustion take over and he fell into slumber on his somewhat cozy leaf bed.

~~~~~~
Quinn woke up refreshed and the first thing he did was to check his post on the forum. He was surprised since there were actually around a thousand purchases starting from last night.
He priced the information for either 50 wood, 50 stone or 5 iron. From the purchases, he directly received 30 000 wood, 17 600 stone and 300 iron. With these much resources, he could build a small village if he had enough blueprints for houses. He could also build enough swords for a small army provided he had the blueprints.
There was a flash of light and the resources suddenly started pouring into the house. He was startled but quickly ran out of the house before he would get drowned in his own riches.
After getting out, Quinn didn't know whether to laugh or cry looking at the house overflowing with resources. 'My leaf bed...'
Quinn sighed. "If I only had another blueprint for a house."
*Ding* [Host could use today's skill creation chance to make a skill for making blueprints]
Quinn was once again overjoyed by the suggestion brought upon by Alice. 'Damn! Is there a thing I can't actually do with my cheat.'
"Alice! Make me a blueprint making skill!"
[As you wish, Host]
Congratulations, you have obtained a new skill, Blueprint Making
[Blueprint Making lvl 1]
Description: Can make a blueprint of the user's liking. The blueprint's level and tier will be equal to the skill's level and tier.
MP consumption: 40
"So I can make level 1 blueprints now? Can I Make a mansion's blueprint?"
Quinn got very excited as soon as that thought popped up in his head. He wanted to immediately put it into action. Information on how to use the skill appeared on his head and felt like it was it was always a part of him.
Following the instructions, he imagine a model of a mansion inside his head. He then shouted inside his head, "Create blueprint!"
There was a flash of light inside his head as his model was then projected in front of him through a ray of light shining from the middle of his eyebrows.
Another flash came from it and was then turned into the familiar blueprint except this time, it contained a mansion.
[Mansion lvl 1 blueprint]
Description: Establishes a safe zone that has a radius of 1 km. Can only be broken through by beings 5 levels higher than the owner. At the center is an empty mansion occupying 500 sq. m
Following that was the sweet sound of the system message notifying a skill level up.
Skill [Blueprint Making] has levelled up ×3
[Blueprint Making lvl 4]
Description: Can make a blueprint of the user's liking. The blueprint's level and tier will be equal to the skill's level and tier.
MP consumption: 38.5
"Make blueprints again!"
Flash!
"Again!
Flash!
"Again!"
....
After nearly a hundred blueprints, the skill was then maxed out at level 10. At the same time, it allowed Quinn to create level 10 blueprints.
He looked at his old house again that overflowing with resources and that gave him an idea to build a warehouse. He quickly made a level 10 warehouse blueprint and soon the details were quickly sent to him.
[Warehouse lvl 10 blueprint]
Description: For building a warehouse that occupies 500 sq. m of land. All resources obtained would be directly teleported to the warehouse.
"Awesome! This can also take care of transportation of resources"
Now he just needs to clear the area for building space. The mansion occupies 1,400 sq. m while the warehouse occupied 500 sq. m. He would need to clear at least 2,000 sq. m.
Quinn groaned at the idea of work but suddenly came up with a good idea. He took out an iron sword and started madly swinging while also activating [Slash]. In no time, he was able to max it out and deal maximum damage.
Walking to a tree, Quinn sent out a [Slash] and was ecstatic to find out that he directly cut off the whole tree and the cut was super smooth. He got even more overjoyed when he touched the fallen tree and it was directly divided into portions before being delivered into the warehouse.
Because of that, he was at least more enthusiastic at clearing the area since it didn't take much effort to cut one tree. Unfortunately, no matter how easy it was to cut one tree, it would still take a pretty long time to clear an area that's at least 2,000 sq. m wide.
It took him the whole morning to cut the trees and on the process, he also encountered some other monsters. Most of them were still rabbits of varying levels but he had encountered a few deers, boars and also saw a wolf. He directly fled when he saw the wolf since no matter how stupid he was, he knew that wolves were pack animals, and encountering one meant encountering many of them.
Aside from killing monsters, he had also managed to gather a few plants. Some of them had healing effects when swallowed such as the Golden Orb Daisy. At night, it would look like a daisy faintly glowing with a golden brilliance. But during the day, especially at noon, it would glow so bright that it would would look like a golden orb formed from light.
They're actually pretty difficult to find because they're pretty easy to spot, which sounds very contradictory. They're pretty much beacons and monsters would usually find then easily and eat it up on the spot, especially when monsters are actually always carrying various injuries around considering all they know is fight.
Additionally, the kills from the other monsters were enough for him to level up two times. Looking at his brand new status, he sighed and said, "If only my talent would also work for xp points." If someone ever heard him complain, Quinn would probably be beaten black and blue for not learning how to be content.
Player Name: Quinn
Level 5
HP: 240/240
MP: 390/390
HP recovery: 4.8/sec
MP recovery: 5.8/sec
STR: 24
INT: 39
WIL: 29
CON: 24
CHA: 24
Free attribute points: 10
"Can I set my free attribute points to be automatically allocated?"
[Yes]
"Then set it to a 50:50 distribution. If I have an odd number, just give priority to INT."
[ Yes, Host]
With that, the attributes were automatically allocated and his new status looked like this.
INT: 39 -> 44
WIL: 29 -> 34
MP: 440/440
MP recovery: 6.8/sec
He was very satisfied looking at his huge mana pool and extremely fast mana regeneration speed. As long he could find skills that have a lower consumption compared to his mana recovery rate, he would be able to spam it indefinitely.
When Quinn was done admiring his awesomeness, he suddenly heard a loud growl coming from his stomach. It was then that he realized that it was already past lunchtime but he hasn't eaten a thing since morning. He wondered where the energy to work the whole morning came from.
He took out the bread from his inventory gobbled them before washing them down with some water. He wanted to eat the meat he that he got from hunting, but he didn't have fire to cook with. Even if he made a blueprint for a lighter or a match, he wouldn't have the materials.
He sighed and just decided to make the house.
