Chapter 9-Agent J

It had been several days after the discovery of Andreas' strange new abilities. His wounds were mostly healed.

The boy stood in an all white room, he wore an all white outfit. A few spots of fresh blood stained the sleeves of the shirt. A mannequin stood several meters away.

"Now try to detain the target." Came a voice from an overhead speaker.

The boy reached his arm out and an almost rope like blot of his blood reached out and wrapped the mannequin.

"End of test." Came the same voice over the speaker.

A door opened within the room and the boy was ushered out by the Bald man.

Several other men in suits guided the child to his room, where Dr. Zimmerman and a tall man with slicked back black hair, a suit without a tie, and a pair of sunglasses resting on top of his hair, were waiting.

"Ah if it isn't subject J?!?" exclaimed the Man.

"Ahem, director he's only gone by his name 'Andreas' while he's been here, after the incident with 'that' Doctor..." Dr. Zimmerman spoke.

"Ah, my apologies child," said the Director, "You've heard of the duel grounds, correct?"

The child nodded. Almost everyone knew about the duel grounds. A no man's land where monsters, villains, and demons would reside. A place more dangerous than almost any other within this world, but with danger comes opportunity.

Duelists, Those who enter the dueling grounds to combat the monster, villains. and demonic entities, They collect monster and demon cores to help cultivate themselves into stronger warriors. There are many lost treasures and many adventures to go on.

The director continued, "Us here at Arket help to fund, train, and create Duelists to protect our country from the malicious Entities from within the duel grounds. The public is not aware of our activities, but you, child, have been selected to be one of our latest-"

"My apologies sir, but he's just a child." Interrupted the bald man.
