To The Temple

Currently, Six arm was annoyed at it but Zamright prevented it from attacking; he was fascinated by the Frost Fiend nature. Most consider them to have no intelligence but he can see that they just have different views of the world.

What Zamright understood about them was that everything moving was an enemy, everything alive will consume them, for that reason they live to kill anything that come within their view.

Zamright stood and walked ahead, his journey hadn't ended, he would wander more in the cold until he couldn't cleanse his body anymore.

For that reason Zamright walked the Frost Land with zero destination in mind and made sure he knew exactly where to go if he decided to go to the Ancient Temple.

In the second year in the Frost Land he had another breakthrough, which gave him a view of many fascinating abilities from the Exalted Bones.

Just like the other Exalted Races, the Exalted Bones were sublime and they have dominion over rachis structure, foundation and bones.

They were proud but also very kind.

From various abilities he saw which he could choose were Bone spike, bone spear, bone armour, bone wing, bone glass, bone iron, bone claws, bone summon, bone hardened, there were also bone creation, bone blood, bone healing and many more.

Due to having experience with the Exalted Physicality, Zamright didn't look deep in fear of seeing something that will scare him.

In fact, he was seeing them but avoiding their name and what they do. Despite his carefulness he saw Bone Supremacy that allowed a person to control other people's bones. He felt his bones trembling just reading about that.

There was also an ability that has the shape of a crown, the crown produces needles, the owner of the crown can enslave anyone that they stabbed with the needles by melting the needles in their bones.

Zamright pulled his consciousness away and decided to just allow an ability to choose him. He knew for sure that even true members of the Exalted race classified certain abilities as dangerous. They have to train very hard before they take any dangerous ability in their arsenal.

After some moment a knowledge came to him about his new bone ability— Summon Bone Artefact.

Zamright raised his hand and a thin bone appeared before it began to extend until it became similar to a stick he had last held.

'I can recreate artefact I hold before or artifacts I know of their intricate workings and abilities.'

This ability was a bit complicated for Zamright to grasp completely but he doesn't mind he has a lot of time to learn all that. The good thing was he now can continue with his plans.

The first plan was to awaken his True Blessing. The second was to travel back to the Great Lantern and observe from a distance. If there was a need for him to do something he would do something like helping the Lantern Race.

The little interaction he has with them he learned that they have become slaves now and aren't in power.

Well, he also wanted to know what happened to Van. If he was still alive he would rescue the idiot. If not, he has no desire for revenge, the man was on the brink of death already.

With that in mind, he embarked toward the Ancient Temple.

His journey took him 5 months, well the reason was to calm his mind and also try to see if he can clean himself more.

He also did try to practice the abilities he obtained. Which was the only thing that proved to be what he needed to do a lot.

Each of the abilities weren't straightforward, they all have hidden mechanics beneath them with the exception of Exalted Pure Energy which enhance Zamright bodily attributes including increased healings and also fast recovery of stamina.

Blood Sustenance provided Zamright with the ability to control blood and within the blood he can feel impurities and other elements.

The main spell however was a complicated contrip that Zamright can't even begin to comprehend and its job was purification of blood into different types of liquid energy essence.

The liquid energy essence can be used to heal, rejuvenate the body and serve as food for growth.

The Coating ability he got from Exalted Physicality was hard to see its usefulness but after he tried many things, he came to realize it was purely supportive.

He can coat almost everything but it gives different results. If he held a stick and cost it, he could make it stronger and harder. If he coats a metal, the metal will have solid rock textures, some become very brittle and some become malleable and some just disintegrate.

He needs to do more experiments to have a good result that he can use in day to day activities. He now has extra skin on his body which allowed him to shiver and be more sensitive to the elements. This kept him awake and out of his stupor.

Summon Bone Artefact he got from Exalted Bones was prideful, the ability can't be used on everything.

Zamright has held different swords and then tried to make an artefact out of them, most failed and the one succeeded.

After some searching he found that the one that succeeded happened because the sword was more than 50 years old and the other one somewhat new with few years old.

He tried it on other things, he came to understand there was even a backlash of using the skill on an underserved instrument. Also he can't just use it on a random rock, metal or anything that doesn't have any practical use.

This ability drained him faster and left his emotions dull and the worst was that none of the Summon were remotely as good as the original.

As Zamright saw the tall pillars of the Ancient Temple his mind was on the abilities he got.

"Spending 1 year… no, 1000 years as a slave grant me an active tattoo, and the Boat with the Vault of Instruments. When I became a servant and served for another 1000 years, I got the Exalted Pure and Blood Sustenance blessings." He muttered to himself.
