Caused Of The Blessings

"Blood Sustenance was a must for every Exalted Race Member as it was the prerequisite for feeding!"

Zamright frowned and he added, "I became a minor member and served for another 1000 years and the reward is an ability from Exalted Physicality which I got Coating."

"At the 4000th year, I became a full member and I warranted an ability from Exalted Bones which I got Summon Bone Artefact."

Zamright was now very close to the temple; he could see the wide gate welcoming him where people with white skin and milky eyes were moving about doing their business.

From his location, he could smell them, they were indeed not humans and no one among them noticed him but from within the temple, an elder was sitting and he suddenly opened his eyes.

He stood and walked out to see why he was feeling a sense of inferiority all of a sudden.

"I have served for more than 7000 years. It seemed I only got rewards from the first 4000 years."

Zamright concluded but then he shook his head with a smile.

"No, that was not right. The cleansing technique evolved four times. The one I'm now using will cleanse me to absolute purity. I can feel that the rewards deepened because I served longer than usual."

As Zamright reached the gate he met a white skin middle aged man with milky eyes that seemed to have seen the birth of a thousand years.

He stared at Zamright from far away until Zamright was very close and he said,

"You are new to this world, or should I say, you have just walked the land after a very long time!"

Zamright stared back at the old Vampire without saying a thing, he can feel the man was a few thousand years old, maybe only two but carrying wisdom and experience befitting of his age. Unlike himself, who was old but very young.

"Greetings!" Zamright said.

The old vampire bowed and said, "Greeting Ancient one. What brought you here?"

"I heard one can awaken his Blessings here!" Zamright said.

"Indeed. Come with me!" The white skinned white haired middle aged man turned and walked in.

Seeing the elder guiding what appeared to be a young boy with unmatched cuteness none of the unarmed guards stopped him.

The vampire walked them through a long corridor supported by white pillars and when they reached a junction, he spoke.

"You are one of the Lost Origins?" He asked but only after a pulse of power enveloped the small pillars and created a sound proof invisible barrier.

"I do not recognise the term!" Zamright said truthfully.

The vampire sighed and walked ahead guiding Zamright deeper where he would awaken his True Blessing.

"In my research, I learned that any life form that lives long enough will eventually awaken. For unawakened humans, they will awaken after reaching 500 to 700 years and the True Blessing will be powerful!"

"That is true. But living long isn't a matter of the body, mind or soul but Destiny!" Zamright said.

His words prompted the old man to stop and looked at Zamright with surprise.

"It's not a matter of body, mind or soul but destiny?" The middle-aged man repeated,

"That is valuable knowledge. Over the centuries, Many humans have tried to prolong their life but even as they succeeded most became deranged and snapped and became insane for no apparent reason… so, it wasn't their destiny to live that long…"

He became silent as he found many loopholes in that statement of destiny.

Zamright noticed his skepticism but didn't try to elaborate. During his time it was common knowledge and for that reason humans that lived a shorter life span tried to live to the best of their ability and they took pride in that to the point they developed amazing skills that will shine brighter than most long lived races.

"Lost Origins are superior beings and our progenitors, the Sanguines. I'm four millennia old but because of a terrible war that happened back then I lost a great deal of my memory. What I do know though, I once served a master that smelled like you but not quite like you."

"Hmm!" Zamright became thoughtful.

"He smelled like a stone. No, like a solid tree with powerful roots on the ground."

'Rhahis Race. A branch of Exalted Bone that revealed themselves to the world.' Zamright thought.

"But you smelt like smoke that is soothing to the mind." He added.

They arrived at a large opening, with countless murals depicted in a spiral form on the ground.

"My name is White Marble. I beg you, Lost Origin, be quick!"

He said as he bowed before he turned and left the place.

In the opening, Zamright wasn't the only person but there were few other vampires standing on spiral points with their eyes closed.

He looked around and found there was only one spiral point left and he went and stood above it.

There were many ways people can awaken their True Blessings, the prevalent one was a person having a sudden epiphany and their body changed and awakened a new power.

The second was undergoing a certain procedure to facilitate awakening. For example, if a family has inherited True Blessings, then the descendent will perform certain training that may facilitate the awakening.

The third was induction, through experiment and intense mystical means one body and mind was forced to awaken.

Zamright wasn't following any of the above, he was following the Ancient Right.

Ancient Right signified the right to awaken after prolonged life in the world. Just like it was said that after 500 to 700 years a normal human will awaken, the awakening is called Ancient Right.

For vampires, it's about 1000 to 2000 years which also applies to other life forms.

However, for Exalted Race, it was about 10,000 to 70,000 years.

As for Zamright, he wasn't born Exalted Being but turned and lived for less than 10,000 years.

People like him have their Ancient Right at 4000 to 5000 years old. However, there were possibilities to face some problems, like if their body held some restrictions.

Exalted Beings can prevent their spawns from awakening, because they represent something better than most True Blessings.
