Progress

They all walked back to the Hokage's Office where they met up with Shikamaru. "I saw a beam of light in the sky. What happened?" Shikamaru asks. "Don't worry about that. I did that. You're all still safe." Merlin responds. Shikamaru was surprised to hear Merlin did that but didn't question it. "Anyway did you find anything on the infiltrator?" Shikamaru asks. "We learned that it's a woman and she has an ability to blow people up but by what we know it seems she must bite people to do so." Sasuke replies. "Wait what about the person who tricked us into that cave?" Boruto asks. "It could be the woman those thieves talked about." Naruto says.

Shikamaru picks up some documents. "At least we have more information." Shikamaru says. "I'll redo my search with the new information." he adds. "Good luck." Naruto says. Shikamaru nods and walks out the door. Merlin walks to the window and looks out to see the village. "This is getting interesting." Merlin says to herself.

"Get away from me!" a man screams while running away from a woman. He cuts through a corner but was stabbed in the leg by a kunai. He tries to crawl away but was grabbed by the woman. "Why must you run? It's alright. I may bite but if you do what I say you won't blow up." the woman says with a mocking tone. She comes close to the man's neck and bites it. The man screams and a mark appears on his neck. She throws the man on the ground whose face oozes with fear. She grabs his shoulder with a smile on her face. "I have a mission for you. Follow my exact orders and I'll let you live." The woman says before laughing.

Merlin, Boruto, Mitsuki, Naruto, and Sasuke all stood on the roof of the office. "Your village really does look amazing. I can't get enough of it." Merlin says. Naruto turns to the view of the village and smiles. "When we have peace. The world looks beautiful." Naruto says. "But when the world is at war it shows its ugly side" Sasuke adds. They all stopped and looked out to the village again and both Naruto and Sasuke remember the 4th Great Shinobi War along with the deaths of everyone and Sasuke remembers the death of his brother. "Peace is a calming time. Reminds me of my world." Merlin says. "Your world?" Mitsuki asks. "It's a beautiful place. It's a little less advanced than this world but it's a world with amazing people alongside it." Merlin says while remembering the smiles of all of the sins. She turns to look at Mitsuki and Boruto. "Ah yes, I forgot that I didn't inform you both that I am not from this world." She adds. Boruto's mind was blown and Mitsuki was surprised but expected as much.

"That's so cool!! Merlin tell me more about your world!" Boruto asks with excitement in his eyes. "That does explain the lack of chakra in her body." Mitsuki thinks to himself. He looks at Sasuke and Naruto. "It seems that they both knew about this as well. Surprisingly they aren't as wary of her at all. I suppose she may be trustworthy if the Hokage and Boruto trust her." he adds. Merlin looks at Mitsuki and smiles. "It appears he's starting to relax." Merlin thinks to herself. She turns to face the village once more. "I suppose that I had forgotten my reason for being here. I have to find the Captain and Ban yet here I am wasting my time despite knowing they aren't here. I must find them as soon as possible but it will be interesting. Their world intrigues me very much and the people here have been extremely nice. Despite that, I must finish this quickly. I will try to finish this mystery as soon as possible. I am sure everyone is worried about me." She adds to herself.

"That woman was impressive." the mysterious woman says. "To have not only protected the Hokage and his kids but obliterated the rubble is incredible. I will gather as many people to fight her as possible. I want to see just how powerful she is." the woman adds. She looks at herself in some broken glass reflecting her beautiful blonde hair with blue eyes and lines across her cheeks. "I can't wait to play with this new toy." she finishes. "Calm yourself Shi no." a man says. "Shut your trap old man! I'll do what I want and you can't stop me." Shi-no yells. "I won't stop you Shi-no. I am just asking you to calm yourself. You tend to overdo things when you're not calm." the man replies. "I'll be fine." Shi-no reassures. "That woman you want to fight appears extremely powerful. You shouldn't get into fights you can't win." the man says. "I can handle myself." Shi-no replies before walking to the exit. "You may be powerful but I still must protect you. You are 'Shi no Musume Uzumaki', The strongest weapons we have to take down this world. I must always ensure you are safe." the man says. Shi no ignores him and walks out the door. "I'll do it myself without your help." she says to herself.
